We enjoyed Buffet Breakfast very much. Several kinds of Salad were fresh and tasty. Bread was fine, but, the pastry was not so good. It would be nicer if they serve better quality yogurt. At the hotel room, BBC was only TV channel we could watch as an English Speaking foreigner, but, it disappeared from the program list sometimes.
very friendly staff
Joanna was extremely helpful. Very good location close to Old City. Stairs
We had 2 different rooms (decided to stay longer once we got there!) Both were great but the superior room upstairs at the back was quieter than the standard downstairs room on the street side. Nice touches like kitchens on both floors and access to a computer and printer. The location is great, a short walk from the main square and round the corner from the best coffee (and cupcakes) I've had in a long time. The young woman working at the hotel was particularly helpful and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was nothing special but easy when you've got an early start.
Very friendly staff, clean and modern apartments, close to Old Town
comfortable beds, friendly staff, clean & cosy rooms.
friendliness of the owner, room comfort and location
Very close to old town but not so close that the night noise is a problem. One street from the tramline. Very comfortable bed. Bathroom has a glass door that is not very soundproof.
The quality of the accomodation. The advice on places to see and where to eat for a good selection of different types of meals. The breakfasts at Cracowdays were especially good and the homemade jams wrer excellent.
Large well decorated stylish room with fresh flowers, a good shower room and walk in wardrobe with safe and a sofa. The room was quiet at the back of the building looking out on back gardens of neighbouring properties. Helpful and friendly staff with fantastic previsit assistance.. Conveniently and sufficiently centrally located. One of the most pleasant city places I have ever stayed in.
the staff were helpful, location is in good walking distance to the city, beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean, have access to a common small kitchen which was nice/appreciated. would have preferred to have the option to pay with a credit card or maestro. there was also no lift (only one set of steps) so not the easiest to travel if you are somewhat physically limited.
very clean, a short walk to the old town square, quiet, cool, very well set up the only thing would be that the third person did not find the sofa bed comfortable...when we booked we didn't understand that the third bed would be a sofa bed in the living room/kitchen
friendly staff and quality accommodation
The apartment we styed in was spotlessy clean and beautifully designed.Just 5 mins walk from the heart of Cracow...great location, not busy street!!!Friendly staff with excellent english!!We enjoyed our stay and highly recomend Crystal Suites to everyone !!!! No
The freedom offered by an apartment with its own heating system was very good, well appointed and comfortable, a real home from home. Nothing the Crystal suites were superb
Very nice and helpful staff. Apartments are well located, within a short walking distance from the city centre. They are in an excellent condition and very clean. Really good value for money. Just to mention a couple of things although they were not that big of a deal. Two of my friends didn't fancy the size/height of pillows. This wasn't a problem for me though and slept like a baby! Also there were only 2 bath and 2 hand towels to share between 4 people. You would expect to have at least a bath towel for each individual.
They were very helpfull at all times It was in a good location, very quite and well appionted
The staff and the location were great! The Wonderful restaurants and cafes very nearby you can walk to all the sites in the old town. Also the apartment is very safe, not that it’s an issue in Krakow.
A spacious apartment, well furnished, with top-of-the-line appliances. Exceptionally clean. Modern design. Safe neighborhood. Pleasant, helpful staff. There were no serious flaws. The selection of tv channels was meagre for an English-speaking family, but we were in Krakow to tour, not watch tv.
This was a fantastic location, about 10 minute walk from the Main Square. Apartment was lovely and clean and very comfortable. Staff were excellent and recommended some places to eat. Plus there is a yummy cupcake shop on the corner.
We enjoyed every minute of our stay in Krakow and Crystal Suites! The penthouse suite was clean, well equiped, nice furniture, great beds..The list could be even longer. The location is very attractive; it is central and quiet at the same time. We had the pleasure of getting to know Katherina in the reception. She was very service-minded with excellent English skills and knowledge of the town. If you ever go to Krakow; this is te place to stay!
Convenience to city center.
We also stayed at Premium Hostel (the floor below) but preferred Freedom. Close enough to the old city to walk (around 10 minutes), though you have to catch a tram/ bus from the train station. There is not much food or entertainment of note close to the hostel, but transport connections are good. Room was small but clean. Room was warm during the day but cooled off at night if a window to the main road was kept open. Unfortunately, the street outside can be noisy with traffic, and one night loud music and garbage trucks kept us awake. Not a social atmosphere, though a simple but sufficient breakfast (bread, selection of jams, cheese and yoghurt) is included in a common breakfast room. Walk very quickly across the nearby main road. Noise from outside the room if the window was open (it had to be as otherwise the room was hot).
A very adequate and inexpensive hostel. Ideal if you are with a group of friends who want to spend most of the time out and about, with the room just to be used to crash at night. It was very clean, well equiped and quiet. there are a lot of stairs - 5 floors up, and no lift. it is about a 20 minute walk to the town square, but there are numerous bars, shops and restaurantson the way.
Hotel newly renovated? Everything was very clean, very good beds. Nice dining room and facilities for making one's own meals. No elevator (for the 4th floor hotel), but this is under construction and should be finished by the end of October 2008
silent place, close to downtown and few grocery stores very basic breakfast and horrible peach yogurts
Very friendly english speaking staffs. They helped me a lot. The hostel is located a little bit far from the center of the city, but 10～15 minutes by walk. Trams are also available.
The room was probably the cleanest i have ever stayed in. Staff were very friendly. No lift. Not normally a problem but my knees are stating to deteriorate, but i managed ok.
High standard of amenities, helpful staff, very convenient location, stayed here before,booking.com worked in reserving rooms successfully, would use it again.I would like to stay at the Freedom again but would ask for a room away from the stair well. There is a hostel below Freedom, called Premium Hostel. The noise coming up from there, teenagers running around all through the night, kept me awake. I should have said something to the night staff, but thought they would use their initiative to stop the rowdy behaviour.
Friendly staff. Quiet environment. Doing the dishes after breakfast myself :)
24hr reception, kitchen available, informal atmosphere
Location, price, free WiFi and wired internet in all rooms, comfortable and clean rooms. The lack of a lift (elevator) is not really a problem until the heat wave strikes.
Low costs and facilities, coffee, internet etc for free
Hotel staff were all very helpful and friendly, definitely would stay here again. Lack of lift.
Friendly 24 hour staff at reception; availability of kitchen; easy to get to other parts of Krakow by tram; internet availability. I was looking for somewhere relatively low cost and had not stayed in a Hostel before. I was very impressed with my single room (which was en suite - a nice surprise). I would recommend the Premium Hostel to anyone looking for budget accommodation in Krakow: I will certainly use it again in the future.
The staff were all very nice and helpful, breakfast was absolutely ok, and there was coffe and tea available all the time. You could also buy cold drinks in the reception. Although it is forbidden to smoke in the hostel, one can smoke in the staircase, by the window, which is also very convenient. The only slight inconvenience was a busy street nearby, closeness of which made it difficult to sleep with opened windows.
Good location, kitchen and common room facilities, helpful staff Noise from corridor outside room - nb 1 night in particular.
very positive staff. Free parking place near the hostel grey wet bedsheets either with holes ore shorter than bed. Kitchen utensils is chapped.
No fuss, nice room, very clean, good kitchen with good views, and helpfull staff. What more can one ask? Nothing at all
The Staff was great!
the hostel is confortable and clean, the common room is useful if you want cook your meal in the hostel, there you can be acquainted with other tourists, and there are also two computers for internet. every morning I woke up at 5.00 o'clock because the sunlight enters in the room
It was a very nice place to stay, much closer to the city centre than it looked on our map. We were very happy with the facilities and found it very good value for money. Would definately recommend to travellers who want a good, clean, central bed for the night. When me and my friend both needed to wash our hair the shower ran out of hot water. However, I was not expecting an en-suite so putting this in perspective it was still very good.
location, cleanliness, kitchenette fridge doesn't work, heater doesn't work
Very Good position, very kind owner and very beautiful apartment, it's a very old house in very good conditions with every modern comfort, except one... no lift, not a problem at all
Amazing staff.. they let us check in at 10am since we arrived very early... we had twin ensuite- best hostel i ever stayed at- better than most hotels even.. location is good.. about 3-2 tram stops from train station and about 15 min walk to old town-great value for money nothing.. everything wass great
