Great location close to attractions. Staff speaks English. Good breakfast buffet. Overall great stay.
Convenience Confusing when looking for hotel as logo looks as if the name of the hotel is Lande7 (inverted "L") Not a good logo
The quiet atmosphere The bar at the 6 floor was closed...
Then I left some laundry in my room in a black bag and they stole it! Crazy. I ream really nice taylored suits and shirts were just taken from my room. I was very upset. They denied taking anything, but know exactly what I packed and exactly where I put my things. So I left and am never coming back.
Location was brilliant. You could easily walk to the bus and train stations, old town and Jewish quarter. I asked for a quiet room and got one. But because of the location maybe all the rooms are quiet? Excellent breakfasts. Very expensive. For the price I would have expected a much more spacious room (room was rather cramped) and a stunning view. Our room looked out onto a stone wall. Wonderful freshly squeezed orange juice, cappucinos and eggs done all sorts of different ways were available at breakfast, but you rather had to chase after the staff to get these; they were never offered.
great location, helpful staff, clean, comfortable and elegant. if you're in Krakow, you can't beat the location.
Large comfortable room (junior suite); good location for sighseeing Shortage of storage space. In a very large room there was only one wardrobe which was too short to hang up a skirt! Only 6 hangers. Small chest which would have been inadequate for a longer stay. Had to clear the tiny dressing table of promotional material to make space for toiletries, brush / conb etc. Small bathroom. Totally inadequate air conditioning. We were given a voucher for a free glass of wine in the Vienna cafe for every day of our stay, however the first time weused it, it was taken from us. Luckily this was our last day and as the Vienna Cafe was totally lacking in the sort of cheerful ambiance (or indeed any sort of ambiance!) we have found in cafes in Vienna, we wouldn't have gone back. Reception staff surly and unhelpful.
The hotel is located in the city center, so getting around for sightseeing was all done by foot or the occasional tram. Hotel staff is very friendly and accommodating. I had a very spacious low level room with two beds. Overall, very satisfied! Stayed on the 1st floor and for 4 nights over Thanksgiving weekend, which also happened to be the same weekend as Advent (Catholic start of Christmas season). The halls were a bit loud, but mainly from the noise of people walking up and down. There were a couple of parties at the hotel but they all finished at a reasonable time.
location - it is only 3 - 5 minutes walk to the old town and less then 10 min to Kazimierz.
Location! Value for money! Staff is extremely welcoming! Did not offer mulled wine at the bar :(
Location was excellent for all major aspects of Krakow. Breakfast was good, Bar prices reasonable and meals in restaurant ok. Beds comfortable and room facilities good enough for a short break Very little atmosphere in Bar or Restaurant. I think they have tried to go to simplistic and it comes across a little sterile. Being British, could have done with tea and coffee facilities.
You could not do better in picking a hotel on your travels to Krakow. Location: 3 short blocks from the Main Square. You are close enough to the main square to view all the attractions, yet far enough away from crowd noise when you want peace and quiet. Efficiency: Efficent and effect staff throughout the hotel. Accommodations: Clean, beautiful decor, comfortable bed, big bathroom with deep tub and shower. Food: Excellent buffet breakfast with hot eggs and breakfast meat and a wide variety of cheeses, meats, pastry, fruits and cheeses.
This is the second time I have stayed here and I returned because it has one great thing - quiet. Krakow can be a noisy place to stay with lots of clubs, bars and late night partying nearby. This hotel is quiet and guests are not disturbed by street noises or loud music from clubs. It is also very comfortable. The lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room. I would also have liked the possibility of eating something at the hotel in the evening - even if only bar snacks of some kind (eg sandwich).
