Picked up our car at the Enterprise location next to Croake Park, while not ideally located for the tourist hotels it was only a short taxi ride away. Staff were wonderful, they called the night before to confirm the rental and were very helpful with recommendations and places to visit.

The car itself was great, the booking experience and picking up the car was horrible. We had a time slot assigned to us of when to pick up, and we ended up waiting an hour and a half (wasting precious travel time) to get the vehicle. We then were charged extra fees after already paying for the car. I would not recommend this car rental company.

When I booked through Kayak for a car at 10 pm collected at airport, it recorded as 9am from the city depot. Sixt would not change it without rebooting the whole thing at twice the price. Kayak just referred me to Sixt. I had to change my inbound flight to arrive a day earlier at a cost of 400 euro rather than pay Sixt 700 euro more to rebook the car.

Pros:

The car was small ,wich is good on the narrow streets and roads of Ireland!!!

Cons:

The GPS was out of date... the price for the the insurance was a rip off and the gps couldn't find a gas station nearby or the sixt branch where we we're dropping off...

Pros:

Pickup and drop off points were at the best location possible, ''City Center''. The car was very well maintained and every aspect of it was thoroughly checked before it was rented to me. The staffs were very hospitable and helpful.

The staff was very helpful. They were super great with telling me how to use the car. I have only driven in the US so I'd never driven on the left, and he was very helpful with giving me info. One thing is the building says Hertz and I thought we went to the wrong location, I didn’t know it was Dollar as well, however that is minor.

Pros:

Very friendly and personable, and after an hour wait, for service, the care they delivered was great.

Cons:

I had verified that I have full collision damage insurance with my credit card and had the policy, but they wouldn't give me a car without a letter or call from the card company. This proved impossible to do on the spot so I had to take the $15 Euro a day for redundant insurance.
