Pros:The pickup was not at the Appleton Airport. I landed and went straight the Hertz counter and was told that I rented from Hertz half a mile down the road. They told me they could not change the rental and that I'd need to get an Uber to take me to the other Hertz location. I could however return the rental to the airport location. I won't rent from Hertz again and I will tell everyone I know about this experience.Cons:They could have switched the rental or at the very least given me a ride to the other location. I had to pay my Uber driver $10 for the inconvenience that Hertz caused me.Reviewed 28 Oct 2020

Pros:I went to the wrong Hertz counter. I went to the one at the airport but I really had rented it from a counter about a 20 minute walk away. The woman behind the counter went way out of her way to ensure that I got to the right place comfortably. She was incredible.Cons:I rented the car on Saturday to be brought back on Sunday. The woman at that counter did not tell me that the office would be closed on Sunday. I did not know how to return the car and did not feel confident that I did the right thing and was worried about being charged extra.Reviewed 10 Feb 2020

Cons:The employees there were extremely rude and not willing to work with me whatsoever. Never going back. If I need to use a rental again, I'd rather go somewhere else than go back to that hertz and have that staff make me feel like a complete idiot. Pros:Very nice staff. When I landed it was fast and perfect. I was nervous using a keyless fob on the edge I rented but the fellow at the desk... it was his third week and he was a delight! Said don’t worry! I can walk out and give you a quick lesson if you feel uncomfortable. No need for extra help and his instructions were clear and helpful. Will rent again in Appleton for our sons wedding in February 2020. Thanks very muchReviewed 22 Oct 2019

Pros:Staff was great, pickup and drop off was easy, car was fine except some gum and contact lense cases in the middle of the front seats on the floor.Cons:Know what type of insurance your credit cards have, what you bought online from priceline or wherever, and make sure that they don't overlap your coverage at the front counter.
