Pickup was extremely long. It look over an hour to get our car. The process for rental is very slow and frustrating as there were people standing around with luggage everywhere. Also, the mandatory insurance was not appreciated . This was not clear during the reservation on Kayak. The premium is far exaggerated and unfair for international travellers. They are basically charging a half year worth premium for a short term rental . It almost seems illegal The car itself was very nice and clean

Staff was super nice, answered all my questions and the car I was given exceeded my expectations. Only thing is that at time of pickup, even though I had booked online, I was charged more in person for a deposit, autoexpress, and insurance. Something that could have been charged online as well.
I rented the car via kayak with NU car, but they walked me over to dollar, then when I dropped it off at nu car at 3am in the morning, they said they couldn’t process me because I rented the car from dollar, still have yet to receive an email receipt, not happy at all about the overall experience.
I was forced to pay for insurance I didn’t need or want.
They gave me a hard time for not wanting their supplemental insurance. I wanted to use the coverage that my credit card offers and they made a big stink about it. They required that I have the credit card company issue a letter stating my coverage. I was not expecting this and it took an extra 30-45 minutes to get the car. They also gave me a car that had a flat tire. The lady said that it wouldn't give us any problems. After parking the car overnight, we came back to a completely flat tire and had to put the spare on and take it to a tire shop to fix it. I felt like they gave us this car because we did not purchase their insurance.
