Location and hotel staff. Everything was great.
Perfect location for visiting and shopping Bathroom smell and noise from the street
Eloquent, classy, clean and helpful!
Staff was very helpful, location is close to nice places such as Spanish steps and via veneto. Price is a bit over-rated in comparison with what the hotel can offer
The concierge staff is very helpful. We arrived at the hotel at noon, after almost 24 hours of travel. We were exhausted. The front desk staff reminded us that check-in was at 2 p.m., but proceeded to allow 11 other couples/families to register and go to their rooms before 2 p.m.. We sat in the lobby for 1 hour and 45 minutes. The front desk did not check with the cleaning staff until we had been sitting there for an hour and a half, and I went to the desk a second time. Not a great way to start a vacation.
Nothing only the location the room was old and noisy its not a five star hotel i wont give it 3 stars
Hotel was centrally located. Staff was very courteous and helpful.
Location and the art deco of the dinning room The room; too small and smelling terrible bad. The "mini elevator", the "mini halls"...The external appearance of the hotel is magnificent but inside it is quite reduced
Excellent service from all sectors ! Rooms are cleaned twice a day !
Friendly staff and good location Room service, mini-bar, etc were very expensive
The rooms, designs and the hotel staff. no nothing
Absolutely NOTHING to like or enjoy here at all. This is by far the worst hotel I've stayed in more than 25 cities in my latest trip to Italy. When you consider this is somehow rated a 5 star star hotel (???) it is the worst value for money in the history of hotels. It is literally a 2 star hotel and a bad one - it's a hell hole and a huge tourist trap. They gave me a room with no AC and no hot water! I repeat, NO HOT WATER. On top of it all, even if I had gotten a proper room with hot water, hotel is old anyways and facilities extremely old and dirty, filthy rooms. Wifi does not work nor does 4g/3g signal. Internet access is only possible outside of the hotel. Breakfast is one of the worst I've seen in Italy (or anywhere). They did not deliver what a two star hotel would have. That's all late in the evening after a tiring trip for me and my girlfriend. After hours of discussion and no solution offered whatsoever, I was finally able to talk to the hotel manager. The manager is this French guy who barely speaks some broken English and couldn't care less. All he could say is that things didn't go as planned with maintenance and that it wasn't his fault. Out of the few things he mumbled, he may have offered a drink at the bar or something along those lines, to make up for NO HOT WATER, NO AC, NO WIFI, dirty room, lousy breakfast, and the worst service I've ever seen in a hotel or hostel or any type of housing establishment in the world. The discussion went on for 3 days and no solution was offered at all. This is by far the worst experience I've had in Italy and the worst I've ever had in any hotel anywhere (I've traveled 50+ countries). The cherry on top was the itchy feeling in the end of my stay due to what could have been bed bugs. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. Avoid yourself A LOT of stress and a living nightmare and stay as far away from this place as possible.
I really enjoy hotel , room were nice Clean less the bathroom
Restaurant waiter Front desk Reception lady with very bad attitude Trying to use slogan (our role in eourp !!) like teaching her guest ????!!!
Very nice rooms, clean, great service, nice location. Breakfast was execellent. Rooms and bathrooms were renovated. We liked everything...
location. roof terrace the hotel is tatty and does not have the level of service I expected from a 5 star hotel ... the beds are incredibly uncomfortable and we slept badly. This is a 4 star at best and does not have any romantic or luxury component to it. The roof terrace is nice
Location Un renovated rooms, wifi doesn't work well and they make you pay for it, we had to change rooms. This hotel needs to be renovated. This is really not a small leading hotel or a 5 stars hotel as marketed
I liked the hotel itself, the service, the location and the view out of the balcony, which is absolutely fantastic, from my perspective.
It was clean and the staff were pleasant, wifi internet excellent. Fantastic location. Upgraded from a double deluxe to grand deluxe as it was our anniversary. It needs tea and coffee making facilites, as the room service is expensive as is the mini bar. The breakfast was very expensive and of a poor standard.
The staff were incredibly lovely and helpful. The location was terrific in relation to many sights. Can walk to Spanish Steps & many others. Hotel is clean, beautiful & basically comfortable. I visited in December and with the heat turned up to high I wasn't able to get the room warm enough. That is my only complaint.
The room was big and comfortable. Staff were friendly. Housekeeping was poor. Also, there were several steps inside and outside the hotel making it a nightmare for parents with a baby and a stroller.
Location was excellent. Hotel was clean. All employees were very friendly (parking, front desk and room service). Hotel policy not family friendly for families larger than 4. We are a family of 5 (3 small kids). Hotel wants families such as ours to book two rooms (no more than 4 people per room). It is already expensive to travel as a family. This is not where hotels should be placing their effort to make an extra euro.
The hotel was undergoing a TOTAL renovation. Scaffolding on ALL the windows. The pool was out of commission. The rugs and furniture in all three rooms we were shown were in tatters and stained. VERY cagey reception with NO disclosure of the state of the place. Finally after many attempts, the manager arranged for us to switch to a sister hotel which was fine. This was after many unreturned phone calls and being told she was unavailable. Only after I informed her that I was a journalist did anything progress.
