Pros: Wonderful hotel, beautiful rooms awesome staff AMAZING spa. Great restaurant. Loved it.
Cons: I thought it was kinda cheesy to hit us with a surprise parking fee of $17 when we were leaving

Pros: We loved everything! The location (so close to clifton hill), breakfast in bed, french press coffee, complimentary champaigne, the upgrade they gave us, and the bed and towels! We will stay there again. Many people are complaining about parking, but $17 a day sounds reasonable compared to $50 a day charged at the hotels by the falls.
Cons: Exterior and the surrounding area are not as nice as we would have liked. But once you enter a room, everything changes.

Pros: Close enough to walk to all of the Niagara Falls attractions, but far enough off the main tourist spots to be quiet. You MUST eat at at the in-house restaurant, AG Inspired Cuisine -- it is DELICIOUS.

Pros: Only thing good at this hotel is location.
Cons: The room smelled like cigarette smoke (our clothes and hair smelled just from being in there). The curtains looked and smelled like they have never been washed since they were put up. Even the air coming out of the a/c unit smelled. Stained carpeting. Tried to get a different room but was told none available. Front desk staff not helpful. (During our 4 day stay we dealt with a broken toilet, broken safe, dog barking through night, elevator broken for 2 days). This hotel is for smokers and people traveling with dogs. Wish we had left as soon as we smelled the room.

Pros: Had the junior suite which was very spacious (however friend also had suite that was slightly smaller so specify when booking). Overall was a decent stay for one night but wouldn't want extended stay there. Close to clubs and shopping!
Cons: For some reason the tv channels were seriously lacking. Aimed to be back in room for jays game but couldn't get it on tv! Also mini-fridge and microwave are great to have but seriously small and outdated! My friends and I joked that this was a hotel-motel feel.

Pros: It was good price and close to the falls and Clifton hills
Cons: My room did not have a jacuzzie tub like in the description I was kind of disappointed by that

Pros: Total cost for a King bed and fold out couch was $57.50 (US). You could see the American Falls from our window. They would probably be obscured by trees when their leaves return. Pool area was fine, perhaps a little stark. Bed was somewhat comfortable. The room was kept up. For some reason, there was a plastic bag over the smoke detector.
Cons: Walls seem very thin. Could hear the neighboring TV very clearly. We used the noisy fan to create white noise to drown out the TV. Our door would rattle when the neighboring door would shut. The bathroom could use some work. The light colored tile grout was turning black and tiles cracked.
Excellent
8.5
Pros: On the high floors you actually get to see the falls on a budget price!
Cons: The mattresses aren't the best but they'll do.
With a stay at Cadillac Motel in Niagara Falls (Fallsview), you'll be a 5-minute walk from Greg Frewin Theatre and 8 minutes by foot from Clifton Hill. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free self parking is available onsite.

Pros: Check-in was good as she was very welcoming and accommodated our later check-in time. Bedroom was very clean. Window air-conditioner rattled at times in the night so we had to shut it off. Noisy on street in middle of the night as someone was rummaging through recycling garbage. Breakfast was excellent. Large portion and well prepared.

Pros: The hotel is conveniently close to all the attractions, yet it doesn't feel loud or crowded. We really took advantage of the indoor and outdoor pool, the spa, and the sauna. Pros: I stayed here for a week with my partner to visit family in the area and explore the falls. The Room was clean and comfortable. Beds were cozy with duvet blankets and big pillows. The room was a spacious and relaxing atmosphere. Customer service was on point and staff was really friendly and accommodating. We will stay here again when visiting this area if we can find a decent deal again on rooms like we did this time.
Cons: We were charged for Wi-Fi when our stay was over which should be included. Parking at the hotel was expensive. After paying high prices for a room it seems unreasonable to have to pay $30 per night for parking. We booked our room through a booking company so our rate was a bit cheaper, but be prepared to have quite a bit of coin for parking. Restaurants and coffee shops in and around the hotel have huge price jumps. We found it better to travel away from the tourist areas for drinks and eats. There are plenty of amazing options that aren't far.

Pros: Location was good
Cons: They charge for parking. It isn’t that uncommon but being upcharged at the last minute make you feel like you are getting ripped off. But worse, we paid $15/day and they ran out of spots in the parking lot. They had several business Christmas parties that day so those attendees used the parking lot at no charge. They had a shared lot with a theatre down the street they told me I could use. Street parking was cheaper and closer but they refused to refund my parking for the day. It’s a small issue but I will not be returning to this hotel.

Pros: The view of the falls from the room is truly what you are paying for. Beds were very comfortable. Nice linens. Good housekeeping staff.
Cons: The nickel and diming for internet service and parking is very tacky. Although the room price looks okay when you book through Kayak or any other internet service, after taxes and parking add ons you pay roughly $100 more per night. Also, the hotel rugs and elevators need an upgrade. It is ludicrous for such a so-called luxury hotel to make guests compete for elevator service. It became a sport to get on one that wasn't full already and to guess which of four doors would open next that you had to leap for. The pool is ridiculously small for the facility, and packed with children at all hours.

Cons: Air conditioning was broken. Room was too hot and we couldn't do anything about it. Staff put an industrial fan in our room. Staff was very cold and didn't seem to care at all. Pros: I liked the friendly customer service
Cons: It was a Sheraton not a Marriott, I have stayed all over the world in Marriott but this one was sub-par. I could've stayed at Sheraton instead and pay a lot less than paying Marriott money but staying in a Sheraton. In all I would never stay at this hotel again.

Pros: The hotel itself is gorgeous. The view from our fallside room was amazing. Absolutely amazing. The bathroom and walk in shower was fantastic! The hotel was very clean and the staff was helpful for all of our touristy questions!
Cons: The bathroom door, while very aesthetically pleasing, was not very functional for a group of people.. the door didn't close all the way (it was a sliding barn door type style) and it didn't allow for the bathroom activities to be "separate" from the rest of the hotel room. The only other issue I had was the paying for parking (two nights was $70) and the breakfast buffet, while very good, was $22 a person.. just a hair on the expensive side for those two items.

Pros: We were switched from two queens to a king with no charge. The breakfast buffet option was a good deal (just make sure you are hungry). Our hotel view of the falls was worth the extra money to wake up to and be able to watch the colors and fireworks at the falls at night.
Cons: I wasn't told up front how much parking was per day ($25) and I could have moved my car to cheaper lots had I known.

Pros: We liked the location best because it was within walking distance to everything. The pool was nice. The view of the falls was fantastic.
Cons: The room wasn't very clean but in an old, "needs to be renovated" kind of way. Something orange dropped from the shower head on our last day there and the mini fridge hummed the whole time. We had dinner at Milestones and the food came out so fast it was obvious that it was prepared before we got there and reheated before being served to us. Not exactly the classy dining experience they try to promote.

Pros: Arrived a little early but reception said rooms were not ready but would be ready at 3:30. She was curt and spent more time telling us what she could not do for us than actually helping. We pre checked in and We left for sightseeing and got back to the hotel at 3:25. Our rooms still not ready he told us to wait a few minutes in lobby. We waited 20 minutes in lobby until we told we can go up to our rooms.
Cons: The rooms were a disappointment. The rooms had a strong odor of chlorine because we were on a low floor above the pool. I am extremely sensitive to smells and it really bothered me but when I addressed this issue with reception he looked at me like I was crazy I was told for the price I paid this is the only rooms available but he could send someone to the room to check it out. I would not recommend this hotel

Pros: The hotel is walking distance to anything you'd want to see in Niagara. You can get free cookies from the concierge at check-in/check-out.
Cons: There was a faint smell of cigarettes in our room. The bed's dressing consisted of an uncovered duvet sandwiched between two flat sheets. I've never seen such a thing before. Our room was on the 7th floor with a balcony, which is accessible from a number of rooms. As a result, we got to listen to one woman's phone call as she paced the entire length of the balcony. The breakfast brunch is absolutely not worth the expense. Staff refused to remove the DMDF and DMDF HST charges from our bill, stating the chargers are "mandatory". The lack of transparency with these charges is super sketchy so double-check your reservation/agreement in advance.

Pros: The lobby was beautiful! Warm and inviting. The front desk staff are friendly .Our room was lovely. The beds are amazingly comfortable!! Big and fluffy, like a sleeping on a cloud. The rooms are clean, the towels were fluffy and big.. The coffee in maker in the room was perfect. I would have preferred more creamers.but still perfect. The hotel is centrally located between the falls and Clinton Hill. About a 15-20 min walk to each, We certainly got our exercise !!! The Aveda Spa is wonderful. We each had a 55 min massage with a scalp treatment that felt and smelled amazing!! The indoor pool and sauna was the icing on the cake!! Would absolutely stay here again!!! Napoli Italian restaurant located one block away is delicious!! Would certainly go for a delicious relaxing meal!! The Ossa buco gnocci is to die for!! Dont miss the illuminated falls. Spectacular!!

Pros: The ambience of the lobby has a warm friendly feel...very nice.
Cons: For the price I shouldn't have had to pay for parking ($13) to only be told immediately after not responsible for my vehicle AND the SECURE lot next door was cheaper. Although the view of the falls was decent from our room the strong stench of cigarettes filled the room and the Jacuzzi tub didn't work. We didn't complain but we feel that because we arrived (12:00) early for a 3:30 checkin they could've done better. We wouldn't stay here twice...sorry.

Pros: The hotel is super close to the falls and Clifton Hill area of Niagara, but not in the middle of the action so it's nice and quiet. We didn't have a view room, but we could still see part of the falls. There really isn't a bad room in the place. The pool is salt water and had an adult's only part for swimming laps which was appreciated.
Cons: There is an additional parking fee per night if you drive.

Cons: The bath towels were rough and thin and didn't do much absorbing. Also, the basic room is only available as two queen size beds. To get a king size bed you have to upgrade to a jacuzzi suite. Not a deal breaker but also not very "couple friendly."

Pros: The location is perfect! The hotel is one block from the top of Clifton Hill, with bars and restaurants lining the streets. The falls are about a 10 minute walk and there are various bus routes within a 5 minute walk. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing a map and recommendations as to where to eat. It is a clean, comfy, inexpensive option.
Cons: The hotel had several doors which said they could only be opened with a room key during the day and were locked between 12 am and 6 pm. This was not the case. I did not feel that the hotel was very secure, and being so close to a number of tourist attractions, this was worrisome. Although there may have been some confusion on our part, the hotel does NOT have an outdoor pool. Finally, although the lobby and main section of the hotel and newly remodeled, the section of the hotel we were in was in the back building, an older section that has not been remodeled. I do not know if this is due to the fact that we booked by a third party site, as the woman at reception pointed out at check in, or if this was just due to the amount of bookings. The newer section of the hotel was substantially updated compared to our area. We had a very old toilet, that actually need housekeeping attention during our stay, an extremely old shower head that did not really get all the shampoo out, and a faulty breaker that tripper while we were getting ready to go out.

Pros: The hotel was very clean and located very close to thestrip. There are two bars across the street but you do not hear anything once inside. Staff are incredibly polite and parking, although not included, was affordable. Perfect hotel for a family or couple at an affordable price
Cons: Although i would recomend the hotel, our fridge was barely cold enough to mildly chill a bottle of wine, and the settings knob not surprisingly missing. The other fault was air conditioning unit unable to keep up with the 85+ weather outside. It was a tad warm on our stay

Cons: You would expect that by the middle of June that the outdoor pool would be open by then. And the indoor pool was way over chlorinated. Pros: The location and free parking made this hotel very appealing.
Cons: The hotel felt dingy. The hallways are old and dark. When we first got to our room the tv and 4 separate lights didn't work. Apparently housekeeping likes to unplug everything (we were told this is a known issue and apparently one that has not been addressed). Not a huge deal, but any decent hotel would make sure everything was perfect by the time guests arrive. In addition the room didn't feel clean. There were a few pills on our floor and a small stain on the sheets. The sink also looked grimey. Free parking is great, but there was garbage EVeRYWHERE. Overall it just seemed like their wasn't much pride in whoever makes the decisions at the Holiday Inn. The staff was very kind and helpful, but whoever is making the big decisions needs to invest some $ into the place and clean it up a bit. After one night we cancelled the rest of our reservation and stayed at the Hilton in a studio suite with a view of the falls for the SAME PRICE!

Pros: The price, included free parking, and staff were all very nice. The hotel seemed to be within walking distance of everything, including the falls. It was also right next to Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville.
Cons: We got assigned a room that had vending machines directly outside of our room. We couldn't hear people but what was a bummer was that the extra space that was taken out of our room for the vending area was compensated by taking room from our balcony. This made it very small. Enjoyable none the less.

Pros: We came with two kids under 5. This hotel was reasonable walking distance to the falls with free parking, had clean rooms and a large pool.
Cons: The breakfast was not included however, and was rather pricey, even with the kids' breakfasts more or less free. I say more or less because the kids menu was restricted and you still have to pay tax on it. Speaking of tax, there is a hidden tourism tax on the room and food which the hotel did not mention. A family member told us about it after our stay. This tax is optional and you can ask for it to be removed--but only if you know it's there in the first place!

Cons: Could hear crying baby next door- maybe because of thin walls or the connecting doors? Also, although the ice machine owe to our room was convenient, it was also noisy late at night. Happily the baby didn't cry long and we were so tired it may not have mattered much anyway!

Pros: your front desk staff are very friendly but the gentleman who are suppose to help with your questions about parking or bus passes was so rude and didn't have no clue in what he was talking about . We asked about the charges for parking and he told us $20 - $30 a day. When we make a comment about being told when we used our players card in the casino we had free parking, he raised his voice loud enough for other guest to hear him he said it was not free and it would be on our bill. When we left the hotel and swiped the players card it was free.

Pros: The room we booked on line was supposed to be a 5 Stat Queen with a garden view. What we actually got was a small dark interior room with a window that looked into the lobby of the convention center. The washroom was so small you had to stand between the toilet and wall to close the door. The shower was smaller than that of an old cruise ship. I'm 6'2" and the shower head was pointed at my navel. Yhe noise from the elevators was so loud it was like trying to sleep on the runway of the local airport. The decibel level was into the mid 90's at times. However the day manager (Taylor) made it right by moving us to a higher floor away from the elevator and noise of out of control children that ran the hallway till 3am.

Pros: Good location near the falls. It was easy to walk anywhere, or take the Wego bus. We had a great front desk clerk who warmly welcomed us and took good care of us.
Cons: The casino across the street has a massive parking garage attached, so the "falls view" from the hotel is mostly a parking garage view, with a sliver of falls visible above it. Elevator call buttons were out. This seems minor, but you should have seen guests stabbing at buttons. Does it work? I dunno, better hit both up and down to see if anything works. Stabbing buttons, no response, stabbing buttons in frustration. So minor, such an easy fix, but such an annoyance. The hotel is surrounded by absolutely awful food options. Expensive and abysmal quality. There are good food options in Niagara Falls: use Yelp to find them and go to them. It will be worth the walk/bus to get away from the horrific food choices near the hotel. And the room had a weird smell. I think someone before us spilled something on the carpet. We stayed only two nights, so we just powered through. Housekeeping should have caught this, though.

Pros: Whenever I stay at hotels I look at reviews and I jump back and forth between hotels and most times can't make up my mind. My money was well spent with Embassy suites! We upgraded our room and the view was amazing! The room was very clean and big! The staff was always very friendly and ready to help with anything needed!
Cons: When checking in they offer two options for parking. We went with the cheaper option, when checking out instead of having you car brought to the front of the hotel. A shuttle take you to a nearby parking lot where your car is. I found out this was better and faster since the shuttle comes back every few mins and the people who had paid more money for valet were having to wait like 30 minutes and more for their cars because everyone was checking out at the same time! So go with the cheaper option!

Cons: The breakfast was so crowded and a mess!! We hot there early but it is no joke if you dont make it to breakfast before 8am expect a long 45 min wait to be seated. We got there early and had a good view of falls but by 830 it was crowded by the time we left it was packed a long 45 min wait line outside to get into restaurant. Cons: They charge for valet parking, but it’s not valet. They don’t bring your car, instead they have you take a shuttle off site and pick up the car your self. Which is the same as their cheaper parking option. The restaurant staff are rude and lack basic common sense. During breakfast our party went and waited in line for a table. I was stuck waiting for another elevator, by the time I made it down my group was seated. The hostess wouldn’t let me join my group and forced me to wait in the long like even after telling her that we already have a table and I’m just joining them. Then later one of our party went to the washroom and (it’s outside the restaurant door) and they wouldn’t let him back in without a fight and tried to make him wait again. They’re power hungry and lack any common sense when it comes to how a restaurant works.

Pros: The suite was a excellent choice for us as it gave our party of four room to spread out. The room was clean. The breakfast was good, but go down before 9 AM to avoid the crowd. The location is great as the entrance to the Falls' Visitor Center is right below the hotel. We are planning a trip back in the Fall and plan to stay here again. It is a little pricey, but I feel you are paying for the view plus location which is worth it.

Pros: View of the falls from our room was great. We were on the 39th floor. Our suite was excellent, very clean and comfortable. Please note that the parking isn't free here and is valet parking only if you want to park at the hotel. It was $35 dollars a day if you wanted them to park at the hotel or $25 a day if you wanted to park at an offsite location and take the shuttle. Had a complimentary breakfast which was good too.
Cons: The staff at the reception was ok, didnt think they were that great.

Pros: View was good, beds were comfortable , location also very convienent. It's easy to get to the horseshoe fall via incline railways
Cons: The worst part of the hotel is the staff. They don't give you options they are always up selling even when not interested. Parking situation is the worst. They said it's $35 per night and it ended up being $123 for two nights because they didn't disclose the tax for me. 10% tourism tax is mandatory only at this hotel and its voluntary everywhere else. Scam artists! My original receipt showed $277 and final receipt at check out showed $647 The only things I added are parking $35/night , $50/upgrade to junior suite and that's it ! This is the worst hotel in niagra

Cons: Place was under renovation when we were there, I find it hard paying top dollar going into a restaurant like The Keg with unfinished walls and drywall showing and the lights for the elevator hanging out of the wall.

Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The front desk gave us a room apparently with a toilet that was a little rocky and by the time we got up to our room the maid had already had staff fixing it. The room was small but very clean. It was also within walking distance of the falls and most of the other sites in Niagara Falls. Very reasonably priced.
Cons: The hotel stay comes with free breakfast which is very nice. It's served from 6-9am, but if you don't get there by 7:30 or so, the room breakfast is served in is too full and there is a line out the door. Other than that, nothing to complain about.

Pros: It was close to the falls
Cons: Breakfast is gross and there was a prostitute on meth making racial jokes about the poor housekeeping staff to their faces. No staff to be seen but when we checked in the chick at the desk tried to hose us for parking fees before I HAD TO ASK HER HOW MUCH IT WAS. That's a tacky trick and 12 bucks for parking is a damn joke. Would stay again for only less than $40 otherwise move on

Pros: We found a good deal through one of the discount websites and for the price we got, we were extremely impressed with the room starting from the view to the jacuzzi bath tub and overall ambience of the room. When we tried to extend our stay, the receptionist said that the price would jump to triple the price. So we did not stay another night but were happy with what we had. The selection of restaurants in the lobby and as part of the hotel were okay but decent considering the touristy location.
Cons: To really enjoy the view and our room, we ordered room service breakfast which was fine but nothing to write home about. "Grapefruit" juice came in a bottle in which the first two ingredients was water and sugar (was expecting fresh). Croissants had a bad fake butter taste. Sausage was really salty. Eggs and french toast were average. I never really expect much from room service anyway. They were fairly quick about delivery- about 30 minutes from order call. The waiter made some rude comments about how hot my room was as I was reviewing the bill and filling out the tip. Lucky for him, I was feeling generous and gave him a decent tip but clearly he wasn't very aware that I was wearing shorts and a tank top and that just perhaps I preferred a warm room. As if I should have kept the AC blasting just for him.

Pros: The room was extremely clean and comfortable. I was literally in awe from the sparkling bathroom floors! ( not one mark, hair, or streak) bedding and pillows were calling for us! My girls even commented and trust me they are Teens and super hard to impress let alone give a compliment. The maintenance call was handled quickly and effectively. The gentleman apologized for the interruption and easily fixed the shower drain backup.
Cons: Most unprofessional staff We have encountered at a Hilton. We stay at them often and love the superior rooms and service. But after a long evening with our girls walking and enjoying the falls attractions Amd sites. Dropping almost $ 700 ln the room to start off to have to be charged for WIFI for the one person extra and to be told that we cannot enjoy the complimentary breakfast or attraction packages (even though we are paying the exact same price as the ones who qualify) and then to be insulted by offering us $3.00 off an iMax show (wow no thanks) super disappointed in the lack of effort and quite frankly rude and curt tone. Calling me dear while my title is Dr. That is petty and really didn't bother me too much just mentioned as a sidebar. Also I am a HIlton Honors member but I husband booked online and forgot to include the member #. Which they told us we cannot earn the points for this stay.... Why???? Idk

Pros: The location was excellent giving easy access to the Casino and the Falls. Plenty of good restaurants near by, easy access to our wine tour that we scheduled.
Cons: Our first room was extremely small, had stains on the towels, one stain on the bed, fruit flies, and gum on the recycle bin. I went down to speak to one of the front desk agents to complain with pictures of the evidence. The agent gave me another room key to an " upgraded room". When my finance and I arrived at the next room on the 7th floor, I quickly realised that it was a handicap room. My fiance was not impressed, nor was I. We both took a quick look around and found the floors in the bathroom very greasy and found a few hairs in the bathtub. Also, I noticed the duvet cover was two sheets rather than a sealed duvet cover; I am not sure if this is customary at the Hilton.. I would not stay at this location again due to the reasons mentioned above, not to mention it was approaching $600 for 2 nights..

Pros: Room was clean, quiet all night, view for city view was lovely. For having so many floors the elevators were always quite quick. Front desk service was great: we had a misunderstanding upon check in that was a little frustrating but once the staff realized their small error they were extremely apologetic and always polite. Location was great.
Cons: Room was dark only one bedside lamp. No overhead lights and no light in shower, and shower head leaked leaving it with bad water pressure. We tried to relax after a busy day and watch tv for an hour, our tv had 2 channels. The rest said no information on the menu and we were not interested in the two channels we could use. The parking situation was horrible. We used self park outside and the attendant was not there when we reached the rooftop parking. We struggled with a suitcase to find how to check in and enter the hotel. The pool looked lovely but we tried to swim at 8:30 on Friday night and a male employee was rather rude telling us the pool was closed. The sign posted for hours said pool open until 11pm.

Pros: Location and that it was attached to galleria and casino
Cons: We called prior to make sure we booked a whirlpool room. Lady who answered said it would not be a problem as most rooms are whirlpool rooms. When we arrived to check in, the man started "Oh no, you paid close to half off so you don't get a whirlpool room. Only guests paying full price has this option." We decided not to fuss and just to use the hot tub in the spa for relaxation but it looked as though someone had really bad diarrhea in the hot tub. So needless to say, we had no hot tub relaxation. If you want good service and to feel like you matter, be sure to pay the outrageous full price or stay elsewhere!

Pros: The staff was nice and accommodating.
Cons: I am single man traveling with two kids. I booked a room with city view. I selected this hotel rather than others was because the pool. Upon arrival I was informed that the pool was closed then I was given a room that seemed worse than a cheep motel. I went back and requested another room. In which they were nice to give another room. So what exactly made this a bad experience was mostly with the stringent rules and false marketing by kayak 1:- there was nothing on kayak site that the pool was closed 2:- there was nothing about extra fees that the hotel will add to the reservation fee this amounted to an additional $100 a day (parking was $35 a day) 3:- when I called kayak to see what changes can be done they offered me a 10% refund which it came to $50. (Nice right!!) however if I wanted to move to a different hotel I was going to be charged $75 what a joke 4-: lots of construction noice My stay was bad because of false marketing by kayak and what seemed they are out to get you if you do not ask and investigate every little thing Kayak did start processing the $50 refund , thank you for that but teuly that dose not replace the bad experience I had.

Pros: The room itself was great, very comfortable and fairly clean. The 4min walk to the falls is a great bonus too!
Cons: Something to keep in mind while reading this is me and my girlfriend are early 20’s, we are young. When pulling into the parking garage we were given an option of self park or valet, we asked how much parking was, if it was ridiculously expensive we would just park in a parking lot as we were only one night. We were told self parking was $35 and valet was $40, so we chose to park at the hotel in the self park. During check out we received the bill and we were charged $35 for self parking and $45 for parking. We told the person serving us that we were told it was only $35 to park for the night and we would have just parked in the parking lot nearby for $30 if we knew it would be $80 here. The response we received was “I’m sorry sir but this is what we charge”. I’m not upset about the price, more so that it seemed we were lied to about the price. As well during our check in we noticed everyone in line was asking for the highest floor possible when checking in or asking to be put on a higher floor once they were given a room. All of these people had their requests met and some were given multiple options. When we got up to the counter and were checking in we asked to please have the highest floor available. The response we received was “I’m sorry sir we do not take requests, we only give what is available”. This was upsetting as everyone else had there requests met, where as we were we told no. Once entering our room we noticed outside our window we had a big pillar right in the middle of our view, blocking most of it. The main reason we booked here is because we heard of the great views. We were not happy about this as we booked a room with city view, not a pillar view. When we received our welcome text message, they asked if there was any complaints and if so they would make it right. We told them about this and that we were not happy with the blocked view. We received no response. They then sent a second message, again asking how everything was, again we complained about this and again no response. We did not have time to talk to the front desk as the lines we very long and we wanted to enjoy our night. It was very upsetting with all these complaints we had, since we did pay a premium to stay here and no one seemed to care about our experience. I feel like a lot of this treatment was because we are so young and this is a “fancy” hotel. In the end I likely will not book here again and I likely will not recommend it either.

Pros: Pictures in ad make the room look new. The actual room looked like it needed some work. Discolouration in bathtub, missing fixture in washroom with insulation falling out of it, pull out sofa bed had a broken corner, closet door was broken. Look like there was water infiltration problem on the mezzanine and looby. No sign or mention of the cost of parking and it turn out to be 44$ a day with tax which is overpriced . I mentioned all this at checkout and all I got as a response “ thank you for letting us know about the problems with the room “. Nothing else.

Pros: Loved the renovated hotel, it improved a lot since I last came here many years ago. Great family hotel even we came as a couple. Be prepared to wake up to screaming children running around the courtyard in the morning before they go to the Waterpark we didn't mind it, it was kind of funny! Didn't bother us at all but if you're looking for a quiet sleep in hotel don't go here. If you have a family definitely go here. Nice courtyards to host your birthday outside of your room or to chill in
Cons: The bathroom soap dispensers all seemed a little empty. They didn't have little bottles just wall units so it was a little irritating to have an almost empty thing.

Pros: The room was a close walk to the falls our room could see the falls and fireworks It was close to anything you might need They gave us Bus Passes to visit other great sites the dinner in the restaurant was Excellent. The Gnochi dish was off the charts good. it is connected to anything you need, food, Gambling, water parks, parking etc.
Cons: The room was very small There wasn't enough room between the wall and bed to stand and get in bed, you had to enter from the bottom. Mold in the Bathroom and Bathroom was outdated. It was functionally difficult to use. The drain in the sink was busted and the shelf covered 1/2 the sink so brushing your teeth was difficult. . A room with 2 queens should accommodate the people and luggage associated, and it was very tight -The staff try to upsell everything. If your hotel includes breakfast for 2, the try to upsell you on the delux package. It's not service for service sake or to be a great hotel, but just another way to extract more money from you. -Dinner and breakfast was expensive and includes a "tourist tax" -We stayed in 6 hotels as we toured through Canada and although the view of the falls as great, it was our least favorite hotel of our trip.

Pros: Loved the friendly and knowledgeable staff, loved the view, loved the elegance of the hotel. Loved the location and the easy access to so many attractions.
Cons: The bathroom door did not fit exactly right so it had to be "pushed" shut, and it also did not have a lock on it. The toilet paper holder was right beside you, into your shoulder. There was also a small round mirror hanging on the side wall of the bathroom that was not in a good position to use it. I think that hotels.com and the Crown Plaza need to be in better sync with what is charged originally and what will be charged at the hotel. Small issue there but was resolved quickly. Just to be sure the guests have NO surprises on the final bill.

Pros: Helpful staff, great location and view.
Cons: I am reluctant to ever again stay at an IHG property. I really took offense at what I felt were dishonest pricing tactics. When you are on the website and select a room, you are quoted a price. In my case, it was around $90. But as you progress through the booking process, you soon discover there is in fact no room available for any such rate as the $90. To that is added taxes, which I concede is out of the hotel's hands, but also a very bogus "resort fee." Here is the hotel's description: Service charge includes Resort Fee and Local Fee & Taxes. Resort Fee includes Wi Fi access with endless devices, unlimited long distance calls from your room to anywhere in USA and Canada, unlimited local calls, 2 bottles of water per day, printing of boarding passes, 2 Wego tickets (this state-of-the-art bus system connects accommodations and tourism attractions throughout the city at Niagara Falls and Niagara Parks-24 hours retail value $14), a e-Family portrait at Hershey Chocolate World, and sampling for 2 at Niagara Brewing Company. For my three-day stay I was charged $54 in "resort fees." This was outrageous because I neither used nor wanted any of the services except wi-fi, which I was told was free anyway, and one bottle of water. Yes -- a $54 bottle of water. Advertising on the webpage a $90 room when none exists is offensive and should be illegal. Crowne Plaza charged me about $106 a night for my $90 room. Thanks to Crowne Plaza I am a wiser traveler now, and will decline to patronize hotels that are not honest about their room rates.
