Hotel is top of the line everything is beautiful. Be aware of ocean front only rooms. You get 1/3 ocean view and 2/3 abandoned wild land that is very unpleasant to look at ( dirts, random parked cars with loud drunkards who kept stairing at hotel balconies). When we tried to change the room, the customer relation agent had a tantrum and I had to steer him away from it, even though the hotel was almost empty. We chose to have a massage the next day. I can't get over the fact that they charge top dollar for 80 minutes relaxing massage, which is delivered by a very incompetent staff who we felt had no clue to what they were doing ( my wife and I were very disappointed with the quality). The Spa is extremely clean and luxurious, it just lacked a competent "masseur" who will make it worth the 180 dinars. Although they were very polite, just did not really know how to stimulate stressed spots. Breakfast was extremely good with a wide variety of good quality food. very friendly and accommodating waiters.
The hotel is beautifully designed, very unlike your usual Tunisian hotel. Good staff, fantastic amenities and an amazing Spa. They have also decent food at the restaurant, a bit more elaborate than average Some staff members, especially in the buffet restaurant are not friendly at all. They are usually missing one or two ingredients in the dishes compared to what is written on the menu (supply problems I guess but also very ambitious menu with things you usually don't find in Tunisia). They do not serve alcohol and are not clear about this upfront. So for the ones like me who like their glass of wine, go eat somewhere else or bring alcohol with you for consumption in the room
Impeccable facility with great staff! I did not know in advance that no alcohol wS served on premise.
The russelior hotel it is one of the best hotel in Africa, the video you see about the hotel it is nothing compare of the luxury you will find there
The breakfast and the staff went excellent The hotel is not direct at the beach
Russelior is the premier hotel to stay in Tunsia and is well worth the drive to Hammeret. This is a 5 star hotel no questions about it and the staff go out of there way to provide for you and make a point to know your name. Spa was also very good and the beach is very close by. If you have to stay in Tunisa Russelior Hotel is the place.
Light, elegant and spacious hotel with very good food, many activities located directly at the beach. Easy access by taxi to Hammamet and Yasmine Hammamet.
Particularly the hotel staff: very friendly. Very well located, walking distance to town center. ATM's at hand, Internet (downtown, much cheaper than at the hotel), taxis really cheap if one does not want to walk 20 min. to the city center. Some rooms (3rd. floor) have a great view to the Mediterranean. Nice indoor swimming pool (outdoor too, but in winter water temperatures are not really inviting). In the hotel in particular and in Tunisia in general smoking is still allowed everywhere. This makes the stay sometimes a bit annoying, as one cannot find a nice restaurant or a lounge without smokers. They are everywhere. The hotel at least prohibited smoking in the restaurant, but in other places one could not stay long due to the stink of cigarette smoke. This was the only negative experience in Tunisia.
Relaxed environment, Excellent meals, spectacular views!!
The dinner buffet was different every day, which meant that for people on fb/hb/ai packages it didn't become repetitive eating at the hotel every night. Despite visiting after the peak season (we went in September), the animation team still offered a range of different activities- even if it meant that aqua gym was done with three people! I found that some of the staff were a little abrupt and rude. The majority of staff (especially the waiters) were lovely but the few who didn't want to give us the time of day spoilt it a little.
the staff were unhelpful and we moved to a better hotel after 2 days as the reception staff were unhellpful we found a better hotel for 64 dinas a night with demi pension and had a very good holiday for the extra 8 days without the problems we had with the sultan. no complaints
The room and the view was nice, and the breakfast was delicious. One of the front desk men was not very nice to us
all was just fine
breakfast, hotel staff, ground floor ......
view from hotel
We were 2 families with kids aged 10 and 12. The hotel provided such a pleasurable environment and facility with safe, clean, secure and friendly amenities and staff. I m definitely going back We needed some basic Medecine. We had to go outside to find a pharmacy. I would have appreciated they had a nursery in house.
nothinggggg their is nothing to do over 11h pm they close everythimg even the lights , i dont recommend it but you can go at palmbeach its just behind sultan
Excellent resort - nice location, good food, modern rooms. Great value on the low season discount we got. I think it was probably cheaper than the shared dorm we have now in Berlin! The beach in front of the hotel (and actually the whole of Tunisia) needs a good rubbish clean up. Its not really the resorts fault (but they could do something locally to improve it), but there was always a bit of rubbish floating in the sea when we went out swimming, and its unsightly when it washes up on the beach.
Design, the quiet, the swimming-pool on the beach is cool, good dinner when the buffet, the beach is good One day - buffet dinner, after - "a la carte". When the dinner is "a la carte", the service is very long, the food is'nt tasty.
Sorry, nothing. I have a thousand words to express my disappointment. But I won't because it's useless. Next time I will just remember that nothing in Tunisie works like expected. Particularly, telling about The Sindbad Hotel, table tennis and wi-fi internet. And hot water. And everything else. It's the best from the worst though. Anyway I somehow managed to have a good time so my dissapointment about the hotel didn't completely spoil my vacation.
The staff is very good and helpfull.
the bbq restaurant and the spa no coffee facilities in the room
The Sindbad has beautiful grounds and the private beach was for me the best part about the hotel. It has 3 pools, but the 2 outdoor ones, although nice did not feel like "swimming" pools as there are restaurants around them rather than sunloungers. This put people off swimming. The standard room was lovely..just the right size and the cleaning staff kept it in good order. The spa also had a great wide variety of treatments and massages, however prices are western standard. The location was great if you just want to chill on the beach, relax and not do much else. The medina is a nice short walk away and the beach walk is lovely (late May it felt you had it to yourself as there isnt much else on this stretch of beach but the hotel). The food was not good value for money. Prices were western or more but nowhere near the standard. It felt like a rip-off. Especially for salads and whne you just want a light bite. Breakfast wsa overall good, but dinner hit or miss. I wouldnt go halfboard here again. Also I did not like the fact that you had to pay for all drinks, even on half board. There was no free drinking water, and the water at the hotel was more expensive than at home (over £2 a bottle). This racks up fast when you are in a hot climate and the hotel wont allow you to take your own water bottles around the grounds.
Spacious rooms - The Beach Shampoo & Soap are not replaced automatically, we had to ask for it.
Very good value for money. The Thai restaurant provided excellent service and very good food.
The beach Restaurent price high, local phone calls very expensive, poor wi-fi conection
excellent warm freindly saff. clean rooms. food is very good spescialy brealkfast, very good location separation of bathroom from toilet???
Free shuttle to the golf clubs and preferential rates at the 3 golf courses in Hammamet The hotel is largely a tourist factory without any charm. Most parts looks like a hospital: white, impersonal, too big. Food is of mediocre quality
much more then we thought, lovely staff, professional management, clean and modern roomsgood location, nice view. i been in tunusia 2 times, i do afriad of chosing my hotel always , but aziza hotel was good choice, i strongly recommend that hotel with no doubt.maybe not like 4 stars as in europe and turkey but worth to pay that price in a country like tunisia. just foods could be a bit better
Very polite staff and very relaxing. Very comfertable and big swimming pool. A bit more attention on the cleaning would rocket it to 5 stars!!
my holiday was nightmare because of hotel aziza workers
I didn't like the hotel at all it's a rip off and full of low class tunisian people! Don't ever throw your money for this hotel. Go for Sentido Phenicia instead. We checked in at around 2 PM and the room was still not cleaned. We had to request 3 times from the reception to clean it and get us a thrid bed for the third person. The beach was soo dirty and the pool overcrowded with people mostly from outside of the hotel. The breakfast is very basic and doesn't taste good. If you have a car don't ever expect to find a parking for your car since the hotel don't offer any parking. The reception is awful, the hotel barely deserves a 2 stars honestly! I dont know from where did they get the 4 stars!!!
Proximity to beach. Cleanliness of hotel and friendly staff. The Spa-Relax is great tto. rooms are quite basis and not 5 star as advertised!
The staff were helpful and the location was exellent , value for money
I liked the location, close to the beach and walking distance from everything in Yasmine Hammamet. Yes, the breakfast buffet was poor, they don't have a variety. It was the same everyday. Also, they didn't have a menu for room service inside the room. I always called and ask about what they have. My opinion is this need to improve their service and hire a professional hotel staff. In general I enjoyed my vacation with the family and we had a good time.
The pool. The buffet selection was good (for a week stay). We had to ask them to vaccum the room carpet when we arrived. They also tried to get us to change room one day after unpacking. The "all inclusive" cocktail drink needs more hoices (there is none).
Very complete breakfast. The hotel is situated in a medina. Difficulty in speaking English. Untrusted staring and watching of the staff over everyone with a European look.
The rooms are very big and comfortable, the food is good. It is rather noisy outside, the staff could have been more helpful. The whole surroundings are completely fake, built just for tourists. You won't see anything of real Tunisia there.
cleanliness, friendly staff, comfortable and huge rooms, good breakfast
The hotel staff were excellent, even using broken English to help me when I had problems. Nothing, it was perfect.
you fell like you life in ancite time my room was inside the shopping side, so was cery crowded.
Spacious clean and comfortable room. Friendly service staff. Pleasent pool areas and not too busy (visitied in mid-August). Hotel rooms are in the Medina resort complex which can be noisy if you get the wrong room (we were lucky) and rife with bothersome market vendors. The food had a good range but was for the most part pretty poor quality. Supermarket was useless - don't even consider doing any self catering, the kitchenette is not setup for much more than fried eggs.
very beautiful, very charming, very traditional, good food i would invest in maintanance! our bathroom and also the pool needed urgently a refurbish. the pillows and uphostery were very dusty too...
the size of the room, with 2 bedrooms, kitchen and living room is quite convenient for a family. Service in the restaurant was good, quick and efficient the food was not so good in term of quality if we compare it to other hotels in Hammamet. Even the Tunisian food which it supposes not to be costly was awful.
Very cheap hotel (32UERO/night). If you like to swim, this hotel got a nice location, near the beach.
I didn't like anything, after experiencing Tulip Inn in Carthage! It is not at all suitable for Vegetarians. Further, when I ask for hot water for preparing baby food, they give room temperature water and confidently say it is hot water. I had to be specific hot as in tea for them to understand, but it was always the same problem. The few kitchen utensils provided were very dirty. On top every one expects a tip!!!
The room was comfortable. Hotel next to the beach. Nice swimming pool Buffet is just acceptable. Afternoon and night receptionist are not helpful enough.
Everything from location to superb food, and specially staff
Everything...specially the facilities, free babysitter for 4 hours in the day, mini disco for kids..in doors swimming pool..alovelly spa..food every day they offer defferent kind of food alot of variety and its really tasty..in general I love it.
Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. Public areas were kept spotless as was around the pool area. The bedrooms and barbecue bar are in need of a refurbishment although the bedrooms were cleaned they need a good upgrade to keep the hotel as a 4 star grade. Also at the barbecue kitchen area is is need of an upgrade and a good scrub, and they need to keep the food covered to keep the flies away, especially around the pizza and cake area. Also when it says 'Bungalow' double room it isnt really a bunglaow it is just an apartment.
my reservation has problem in this hotel . can you help me?
The facility is great, the room service is very good the staff and hotel personnel are not enough friendly to deal with international guests
Comfortable hotel with various facilities. Nice beach. Perfect location. Highly recommended for summer vacations. Food could have been better with wider range of options.
hotel's personel, food, room and location Just need small renewing some place in hotel
quitness. location near jasmin hammamat amd hammat, very good offer for money value, friendly staff
Staff is very friendly. Beach is comfortable. No sound-isolation in the rooms. You hear a lot of noise from other rooms. No room-service. It is not even possible to order hot boiled water into the room or tea. We were back from desert trip too late for dinner and too tired for bar. We could not even get a cup of tea in the room. Ordering Transfer from and to airport was an issue. I ordered it through my comments in booking form. The offer was 110 Euro two way drive. The driver picked us up at airport and brought to the hotel with a private car and wanted to have the whole sum. We gave a bit more than a half and agreed on the timing of departure. On the day of departure the driver did not come. . The price 110 Euro is too high. The Spa in the hotel is not good.
The room was confortable however the service at the reception was disapointed. The Hotel was OK, but the restaurants were not organised. You have to fight to get to the Buffet ,only one buffet for more than 400 customers...The Spa is very expensive and nthing was included in the priceexcept indoor and very hot swimining pool.
every thing was perfect and good.i think i'll try it again in the futur.
nothing he room was so bad and dirty and service was soooooooooo bad no houskeeping fot two days and tv not working , room was full of ants and other insects we complaine but no respond what so ever , i think they are punishing booking.com clints with worst rooms next
friendly staff , nice location no internet in rooms very important
The Hotel is a real 5 stars, spacious, luxious, with wonderful pools , 2 for adults and 1 for kids, the private beach is absolutely clean and too comfortable that i didn't want to leave my steps at the golden sand :-) at the price that i got it was a real honeymoon even i couldn't stay more than 3 days, i will go back for more days. excursions are offered by the hotel in good price, and hammamet is the best point to start them. WiFi internet is extra and too expensive, i had to walk to nearby cafeteria for free and fast internet connection. yasmine hammamet is not hammamet, it's just a big touristic area. about 6km outside the city, don't expect to see Tunisia by staying in yasmine, except if u take excursion to the towns around (offered by the hotels or by travel agencies)
the staff were very good indeed its a little dated
Everythings went fine and at excellent quality level. Good location, available staff and marvelous smart restaurant on the pelouse with sea view shuttle airport / hotel : a little bit expensive
