Amazing time, recommend to everyone.
Pros: The pool is really nice! The rooms were luxurious and the staff were very helpful.
Cons: It's close to the beach, but not on it. The TV's need an upgrade. It would have been nice if the pool was open later. We watched people swim from our balcony at another hotel while ours was closed.
Pros: Staff was very professional and catered to every need
Cons: View is slightly obstructed below the 17th floor but still has amazing sunsets, everything else was perfect
Offering the world-class Trump lifestyle, this contemporary Honolulu hotel is just 1 block from the white sands of Waikiki Beach and the designer shops of Luxury Row. Diamond Head is 2 miles away.
Pros: Private beach means it is never overcrowded. Friendly, professional staff. Dolphin Lagoon a must experience for kids. Big, comfortable room with comfortable bed, nice bath amenities. All toilets have a bidet, which is a nice surprise. Beautiful grounds and atmosphere.
Cons: Above average humidity for this time of year. We were told it was due to the El Nino from winter. Small pool (and number of chaise lounges) that can get crowded quickly. Food from the Seaside Grill and Plumeria is overpriced and okay, at best. Drinks overpriced, but tastes great.
Pros: Kahala is located close enough to the city action yet far enough away where it's remote. Though the pool area was relatively small, it was never crowed. The dolphin lagoon and sea turtle exhibit was quite amazing. Beach was also gorgeous and calm. No complaints about the Kahala. Would definitely visit again.
Cons: Wish there was good snorkeling right around there but that's asking for too much!!
Pros: The staff and growns are amazing
Cons: The dolidpin and turtle tanks, way to small for them to live

Pros: Courtesy room to be used after you check out (30 minutes on a first come first serve basis). Large and comfortable room. Service from Staff was outstanding.
Cons: Daily parking fee, breakfast was just OK. Slow and small elevators.
Pros: Staff is super friendly. Suites are roomy and having separate living room is convenient when partner wants to rest. Market street shopping and numerous restaurants are right out the door of hotel. Beach and other resorts are across the street. We have stayed here six times and will return again.

Pros: Staff helpful though it did take half hour to find the reservation. Clean and extra nice room. Primo location
Cons: Very pricey even for Waikiki. Extra loud bar area
Pros: The Modern is off the beaten trail and appreciated how relaxing the atmosphere was. The pool area is beautiful and calm, and if you need to relax further the sunset pool is just the ticket. All restaurants and bars are excellent in the Modern too.
Pros: Staff was excellent
Cons: Beds could have been more comfortable
Pros: Beautiful hotel. Study bar is nice with good cocktails, rooms are nice and housekeeping is good. Difficult to find space at pools and they don't have chairs on the beach. During peak times like Christmas / NY it makes it tough to secure space. Service at the restaurant by the pool was very slow. Painfully slow... I would return but challenged to stay there again @ $500/ night unless everything is perfect.
Pros: Love it. Honolulu is known for old resorts and hotels. Modern's building isnt really new, however, all the internals have been renovated so that it feels "modern". Great stay for young hip couples.
Cons: Parking is a little expensive. $35 and they charge you everything you get your car in and out. Other than that, we had an awesome experience.
Pros: I love everything about The Modern
Really cool friendly atmosphere, all the staff are super nice.
The room is very clean, modern, crisp, has pretty of room. Our partial view room had a nice balcony and as suggest had views to the left of the water. Great TV and selection of channels, coffee maker. Very well sound proofed
Bathroom is large, great shower.
Room service is fantastic, actually its the same menu available in the pool area, perfectly prepared and very high quality.
The pool areas and bars are amazing
The is away from the Main part of Waikiki, overlooking the marina, making it less busy and more relaxing
Do yourself a favour and book in
Cons: Not sure, maybe the bed is a little firm. Just being picky

The highest rated hotel in our class in Honolulu, Forbes Travel Guide says, “The Modern Honolulu lives up to its name: it's modern without being trendy, it's hip without being stuffy. This sleek hotel is perfect for the urban traveler who tends to mix business with pleasure.”
Pros: Centrally located hotel with a very popular restaurant/bar located on the ground level.
Cons: This is a very busy hotel that lacks a "real" lobby. Some people might not even notice this, but it may the stay feel odd, sort of unofficial since the only time we interacted with any staff was when we checked in.
Pros: Location, cleanliness,amenities,value
Cons: No dislikes
Pros: I love the location ...so close to everything !
Cons: The fact that the outside air con unit was just below us &!it was VERY noisy ! The fact that as a paying guest at the hotel, we couldn't book a table at dinner time in DUKES ! Also upset that there is no longer the 'all you can eat' buffet in the evenings!
Pros: Great location on the beach.
Cons: Some of the staff tried but didn't know basic things.
Elevators have a strange call system and are very slow and crowded.
Pros: Smack dab on the beach in the best part if Waikiki. Staff was super friendly. Pillows were the best.
Cons: Pool area too small.. Difficult to get a chair. Piol, hot tub closed too early. Bar so crowded difficult to get a place to sit.
Pros: The staff was amazing!!! Everyone was willing to go the extra mile to help out. The location is amazing and in the heart of Waikiki!
Cons: Wifi Connectivity is limited to 3 devices and customer support cannot change this.
The lack of a full bath tub was disappointing.
Pros: Excellent location. Nice that there is an available laundry available. Decent size rooms. Friendly staff.
Cons: Not crazy about Duke's. Mediocre food and service. Pool area is on the small side.
Pros: Comfortable, clean, and excellent location. Hotel restaurants are good and have a great view of Waikiki beach.
Cons: The gym is almost nonexistent.

Pros: The staff was wonderful and the Mai Tai bar was a great place to sit and watch the sun go down.
Rooms were very comfortable
Cons: This place is expensive, it really helps to be in the mindset that you aren't bargain hunting when you stay here.
If you are here in peak season and want to take advantage of beach chair or umbrella rentals you may want to book them before you are onsite.
Pros: My girlfriend and I agree that The Royal Hawaiian is our go-to hotel for our stay-cations. We LOVE it there. It's hard to even consider other local hotels. The staff, the facilities, the service, and the way that the hotel feels secluded even though we're in the middle of Waikiki... there's so much to love about this place. This is our second year in a row staying here, and we'll definitely be back. Mahalo to everyone there for continuing to impress us.
Cons: This space intentionally left blank. :-)
Pros: on the beach
Cons: They charge for a beach chair 45.00 daily.
very crowded at pool and pool is very small.
Pros: Have dreamed of staying at the Royal Hawaiian for many years. The vacation more-than lived up to expectations.
The adjacent mall and food court provided entertainment, shopping and reasonable meal choices.
Cons: Mid-week was peaceful and serene. By the weekend the place was filling up with lots of tourists. Can't believe how many people were in Waikiki in general.
Pros: The hotel itself is quite beautiful. Though there is a very small pool, the pool deck is very comfortable and private. There is a fabulous view of Diamond Head on the beach. It's also not a mega hotel, so the number of people wasn't too overwhelming. The delicious muffins were a very nice touch, as well as the staff attention on the pool deck. Great location.
Cons: Our room seemed small. There were too many reasons we had to call for help, including repairs to the room and keys not working. All resolved, but annoying. I don't think a hotel of this caliber should be having these kind of problems. The price tag is very steep and I wasn't convinced it was worth it.
Pros: Really good rooms and service.
Cons: The gym was not good!
Pros: Location is tops, literally the best part of Waikiki Beach fronts the hotel. Amazing history, second only to the Moana Surfrider. Very romantic, but not much stuff to do for kids.
Cons: AC in historic wing could be better. Pool is very small. Not sure why families bring kids here, they'd be much happier at one of the bigger resorts (including the Sheraton right next door).
Pros: Though we were in the heart of Waikiki, it did not feel like we were anywhere near the hustle and bustle that is the Waikiki of today. It truly felt like a getaway. Service was stellar, the staff was friendly and attentive, the setting and atmosphere can't be beat. You've spoiled us; we can never stay in another Waikiki hotel. TRH is the one for us.
Cons: Minor gripes about cleanliness. Found a charm and a bobby pin left by previous room occupants, and toilet had a few hairs and spots also from previous occupants.
Pros: Historic, iconic hotel, still the best
Pros: The beach the ambiance
Cons: Everything else
Pros: Décor of main hotel was impressive however the waterfront tower that we stayed in was less than impressive. Without the oceanview it would rank average to poor.
Cons: Pool attendant was rather rude.
Pros: Excellent location for beach access, shopping and dining.

Classic Hawaiian design pays homage to a majestic heritage, while contemporary appointments lend a subtle sleekness to 529 expertly furbished guestrooms and suites, each one aglow with the rays of the island sun streaming through open windows.
Cons: We paid for a ocean front view sweet and got stuck with a hotel view of the other side of the hotel. The room was made for handicapped people and there was nothing sweet about it. I paid an extra 200 dollars for an oceanfront view and I feel like a got screwed. Also they charged me 38 bucks for parking and 31 dollars on a resort fee, and the hotel that was suppose to be on Wikiki was actually on a different beach. This was our last night on our honeymoon and the hotel sent me an email at midnight to with them about the room and I didnt see the email till the next day when we had no time to talk due to the flight we needed to catch. Also the shower head was busted and it took over 20 minutes to get our rental car from the valet.
Pros: Pool. Water front. Restaurant.
Cons: To many workers trying to get you to sign up for timeshare.
No family in bathroom.
Pros: Located right on the beach with plenty of activities avail.
Much more secluded and private compared to downtown. I think this location is more upscale compared to the other Outrigger Beach. We did have a great view of the pool and could leave the door open for the lani then listen to the nightly entertainment. Everything to eat and shop is in walking distance. They were very welcoming upon arrival with a cool towel and a mango drink. The staff is very accomodating and friendly. This is for sure my go-to place in Waikiki.
Cons: The only think I could say.... Would be the servers poolside. I gave him my money and it took about 15/20 mins before he came back with my drink.... I ended up going to the bar myself the rest of my stay and the bartenders were excellent, friendly, quick, and much better.
Pros: Excellent stay overall.
Cons: Being charged resort fees at the hotel when I was told in my reservation / confirmation email there were none.
Pros: The room was very nice and the comfortable. We ate at the Kani Ka Pila Grill 2 evenings and for 1 breakfast. Everything we ate was very good and the service was good. The Mai Tais were awesome. Be sure to go for Happy Hour, great food and drink prices with live entertainment. There is more live entertainment in the evenings. We heard 3 different groups and all were excellent.
Cons: We were disappointed in the Shore Bird Restaurant. The mai tais were so good at the grill that we ordered them here and were very disappointed. We regretted ordering the buffet. It was okay but not for what we paid (even considering island prices. Can only hope ordering off the menu would be better. It is very difficult to walk in the water in front of the hotel, water shoes are highly recommended. we later learned that just down the beach it was a sandy bottom. Wish someone had shared that with us,
Pros: The beach and the warm ocean breezes
The service was excellent.
Cons: Traffic and congestion in Honolulu.
Pros: Key location to other touristy areas
Cons: Way too much emphasis on Timeshare resort purchase!
Pros: THE BEACH ACCESS, FAMILY FRIENDLY, AND LOCATION. THIS WAS ONE OF THE VACATIONS OUR FAMILY HAS HAD.
Pros: Valet service, Maint, check-in was great.
Cons: Didnt like the room too much...had cityview...but not city just a wall ..also was on 3rd floor.
Pros: Location, restaurants, room, pool, hot tubs
Pros: Nice views and great location in Waikiki.
Cons: Not much going on at night or at the pool. Not even music at the pool.

Pros: Facility went out of its way to accommodate us.
Cons: House cleaning. Had to call 3 times to get sheets changed
Pros: The location and retention of the old architectural features in the lobby.
Cons: The rooms were average at best for a Westin. Everything was a bit dated.
Pros: Location was amazing. Staff were very friendly!
Cons: Pool is not the nicest.
Pros: I loved it all. Room was comfortable. Great location. Beautiful hotel.
Pros: Everything was first class, from check in to check out. Very nice to have the complimentary Beach Club. It's a no hassle, take care of guest resort. Once inside and on beach, you do not know the hustle and bustle of Waikiki exists
Pros: The food was excellent
The bed was very comfortable
The room was very clean
The front desk staff were on top of it
Cons: The room was over-priced for its size and location/view
The hostess at the restaurant told us we had to wait 30 min for lunch sitting but didn't tell us we should have made a reservation so when we lined up at noon she told us we'd have to wait another 30 min
Too much furniture in my hallway. Not elegant
Cons: The pool is very small, opens late and closes early. The beach umbrellas $50 a day and also close too early. One or the other should be open at least till sunset.
Pros: Great location with great views.
iPad in the the room was a cool touch
Cons: Considering the cost of getting a room at Moana Surf, I expected the room facilities could be upgraded (ie...shower and other parts of bathroom
Pros: Pretty much Everything!
Cons: Pool and beach seating was very limited
Pros: From the moment I walked in the door, I fell in love with the old beach vibe. The understated luxury just oozed from the place. The staff was amazing and always attentive to our needs from dinner plans at check in, offering a hospitality suite after check out because we had a late flight. Truly amazing experience and 100% worth the price tag!
Pros: The staff were incredible and helped so much. Our flight was leaving late at night and they let us use a hospitality room to shower and get cleaned up before we left for the air port. The staff at the restaurants on property were fantastic, epically Omar at The Beach House. It's a quiet gem in crazy Waikiki.

Pros: Vive is close to Waikiki beach, restaurants, and shopping. Helpful staff. Clean and updated.
Cons: Room was very small.
Pros: The rooms are quite small, but still comfortable. It has vallet-only parking at the premises. But the effort of the staff to please and serve is really what called our attention.
Pros: Free beach towels, chairs, boogie boards to use
Cons: A bit pricey for a small room 3 blocks from the beach. Unsafe street at night
Pros: The staff was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: The air conditioning and wind noise in the room was a bit loud.
Pros: Attractive, comfortable, close while not on the beach, well-designed and efficient, continental breakfast, friendly and knowledgeable staff, no unhappy surprises. Everything functioned well. Room was remarkably quiet. Safe box, tablet, and free beach accessories (towel, mat, umbrellas, etc) were nice touches.
Cons: Room initially appeared small and basic, but actually was well designed and comfortable. No bathroom fan, but passive ventilation worked just as well. A/C quiet, but not really large enough to cool the room much. Mini-fridge nice and did (barely) keep food cold despite warning inside about avoiding perishables! No protein at continental breakfast, just breads and fruits, but copious and delicious. (We stocked up at Food Pantry a couple blocks away.)
Located in Waikiki, this hotel is within a 10-minute walk of Waikiki Beach and Honolulu Zoo. Waikiki Aquarium and Ala Moana Center are also within 2 mi (3 km).
Pros: Everyone on the staff is super helpful and friendly. The rooms are immaculate and the view is amazing
With the Renovation Discount it was about Half price maybe even less than half and absolutely an great value
Pros: Whenever we asked for service, (maintenance, engineer, housekeeping), they came within 5 minutes.
Pros: The hotel was under renovation but the staff was so amazing. It totally made our stay. Will surely stay in the future.
Pros: The hotel is nice. The views are pretty. The staff were courteous and helpful. It's clean. The location downtown is close to most everything.
Cons: It's not on the beach, which isn't a deal breaker, but I wasn't feeling the "Hawaiian vibe". It just wasn't there. Everything closes super early, even the hotel bar and it's all sub par, nothing too fabulous. I guess the word I could use that would fit this hotel is generic. It's not holiday inn generic, but it's definitely not worth the price, the parking fees, or the resort fee. I didn't feel like I really fit in too well either. If you're a tourist to Hawaii and you'll barely spend time at the hotel, this is the one if you're willing to pay the price. I also didn't feel like I fit in here. If you're coming from Japan though, you'll fit right in.
Pros: Close to everything in Waikiki but not in the midst of the resorts
Cons: Dirty stain/spot on floor in bathroom next to tub was there every day even after cleaning. All else was nice.
Pros: The spa is awesome.
Cons: We spent 2 nights here, it doesn't worth the money. The hotel in Wakiki is generally expensive, but if you want a 4 star experience, choose hotels like Sheraton or Westin. Need to pay extra for wifi, parking, even water after first night. The room is quite small for a 4 star standard.
Pros: Out of waikiki, room views
Pros: It is a fantastic facility. I enjoyed my stay
Cons: Nothing I didn't like
Pros: front desk staff, courteous professional
bar staff, main lobby friendly helpful

Rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows with upper panes that can be opened. Marble bathrooms contain separate bathtubs and shower stalls. Rooms include refrigerators and coffee makers. In-room safes are complimentary. Rooms are equipped with LCD TVs and cable.
Cons: room service was pricy and was not great only complaint 200 bucks was only worth 30
Pros: Only a block from Waikiki Beach. Nice clean hotel with friendly staff.
Cons: The swimming pool did not look very clean.
Cons: Room service was inedible, room was tiny, rude staff, further from the beach and activities than expected, overpriced, THE Smallest pool. Additionally when I asked where the pool was the concierge replied "the pool is for guests only" assuming I just wandered off the street or something. Overall just rough stay. Definitely would not recommend.
Pros: Loved the staff, very friendly. Location was conducive to getting around Waikiki, and picking up buses around town. Zip car located across the street. Great views on either side of the hotel. Free continental breakfast and internet were very nice plusses.
Cons: Gym is pretty lackluster. Not the worst I've seen, but, could have been better. Though, they did say new equipment was incoming, so, may be better now. Wifi was a little spotty in the guest rooms.
Pros: Room was clean and fresh. Liked the available beach towels and the children enjoyed the pool in the evening. one block to the beach. Friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Resturant was ok, typical of hotel restaurants, would recommend going out for better food. Good for family in need of quick food. Breakfast pancakes are huge for one child (adult menu). Found free wifi slow, not much faster when we paid for 24 hours.....
Cons: Mac 247
Pros: Location. Great business center.
Cons: No free WiFi
Pros: Friendly staff.
Pros: Only stayed one night and spent most of our time out, as you might imagine......but the time we did spend in the hotel was great.....the staff and facilities were excellent!!! Would definitely refer you to a friend.......
Pros: Hotel is two short blocks away from Waikiki Beach. Very convenient location.
Cons: Only specific complaint was the lack of sound proofing. We were on a low floor and heard all the street noise as well as noise from surrounding rooms.
Pros: I found the hotel itself and the staff and rooms very good. Large tv and a nice little balcony and large bathroom are above average for most hotels.
Cons: Hotel I found did not match up to the exterior picture and is so very different from the other local Hilton. It is away from the beach and in a busy road traffic area away from attractions. Ocean view room is from a distance over parking lots and between buildings. In room WiFi is about $10 a day and no buffet breakfast or bathrobe.
Cons: Valet parking only. Also it just wasn't anything close to what I was expecting when I booked a four star hotel.

Cons: - based on the positive reviews and high price, I thought this would be better;
- first time to Honolulu - I thought the location would be better;
- move on - there's lots of better choices
All of it
Pros: Closeness to the beach
Cons: When we arrived to our room, the city view was a view of the parking garage, actual a parked car was about 3 feet from our window. It was NOT a city view which I booked. When we called the front desk, we were advised they were completely booked and had no rooms available elsewhere. (We looked online and it did indicate there were rooms available for the night in a better location.) We were told we would be upgraded to a partial ocean view, but not until the next night. Also, there is an additional $30 charge per night for staying at that location, we were not advised of that until we were checking in. We also had to pay an additional $47 per day for valet parking which we also were not advised of until we checked in. The rooms are run down and carpets are old. In the high traffic areas the carpet had creases in spots, enough to cause us to trip. We had a negative encounter with one of your valets, we lost the valet ticket that was on the key, when we returned, they made a big deal of it, told us that we should have kept it on the key ring. Not good customer service especially after charging $47 per day!!!.
This is a Marriott Resort and we booked it because of the name and our expectations were not even remotely met...
Marriott should evaluate this location, both the desperate need of renovation and some of the customer service. If it's not going to be renovated soon, then charging appropriate hotel/motel rates and advertise appropriately.
Pros: Nice location and only steps to beach!! Lots of activities and shops.
Cons: Bathroom was not properly cleaned on arrival. :(
Pros: I liked that it was in the center of all the action and right by the beach
Pros: Location, Bar and restaurants, hotel layout.
Cons: Parking and resort fee add over $60/day.
Pros: Terrific location, terrific service
Pros: The location is acceptable and very close to the beach. Depending on where your room is located you might be impacted by the pool activity and noise.
Cons: I didn't like the fact that you get a room rate online, but when you arrive there are extra fees (Resort Fee $30.00 a day, and if you valet park a vehicle, it is $37.00 a day). The fees are not necessarily hidden, they are just not posted on the daily rate schedule. You find out when you are checking in. I have stayed in Honolulu many times and these fees are normal for most of the hotels.
Hence, it would be better to show all of the rates and fees that are associated with your stay, so that you can make an intelligent choice in your selection of a hotel,
Pros: Close to beach and multiple shops and dining.
Cons: Rooms could use microwave
Pros: The hotel is great. It is clean with a friendly staff and located very conveniently.
Cons: My only complaint and my warning for folks booking here would be that the price is definitely not what you see. I booked my rooms on Kayak and paid in full at booking. When I got to the hotel I was told that there was a $30/ day + tax charge for staying in the hotel. To self park in the hotel parking garage is $35/day or you can valet park for $37/day. The additional $65+/day adds up quickly. Just a heads up. Otherwise the hotel was lovely.
Pros: I enjoyed checking out of this hotel and telling them how I felt about our stay
Cons: I liked none of this experience

Cons: Didn't have a bar but there were plenty in the neighborhood
Pros: Staff couldn't be more friendly or helpful. Very accommodating. 1/2 block from Beachwalk
Cons: Room smelled musty, other guests smoked in their nonsmoking rooms.
Pros: The hotel is at the middle of Waikiki. It's not right by the beach front but less than 5 mins walk. The hotel is very clean. The bed and pillows is clean. Kamaina free parking
Cons: Slow internet connection
Pros: Staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable!
Pros: Service was great and staff very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Not beachfront and the room I was in was a little bit in need of an update.
Pros: Nice room, nice hotel. Cocktails in lobby in the late afternoon.
Cons: We were told at reception that they had stopped including free parking, even though our reservation paper said our price included free parking. It was resolved in our favor then and there.
Conveniently located in the heart of Waikiki, just steps away from the beach and its sister hotel, Halekulani, Waikiki Parc Hotel is situated in the immediate proximity of shops, restaurants and entertainment venues such as the Waikiki Beachwalk, and the Royal Hawaiian Center.
The Waikiki Parc boutique hotel features urban tropical interiors, ebony hardwoods, illuminated glass walls, undulating acrylic panels and works of art, combined with innovative aesthetic technology and personalized service. The hotel offers a roof top, ocean view pool called PARC BLUE and a guest/business lounge called CONNECT. Restaurant and Spa signing privileges at sister hotel, Halekulani. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel.
Waikiki Parc Hotel offers 297 guestrooms with floor-to-ceiling shuttered windows overlooking the ocean, mountains or city. Each room features wooden headboards with built-in direct lighting, ceramic tile flooring, plush inlaid carpeting and European styled bed-dressing. Coffee makers are provided in all accommodations.
Pros: We stayed here two years ago, in an Oceanview Room in the Rainbow Tower, and now we're back and staying in an Oceanfront Room in the Ali'i tower. This is a great place, walk out of the hotel lobby and onto the sands of Waikiki Beach. The resort covers several acres, packed full of shops, restaurants, bars, everything - and then a simple stroll down the beach and you're in the main shopping area of Honolulu. The Ali'i Tower and the Rainbow Tower are similar in price, the difference though in the Ali'i Tower is that it's like a special club within the larger resort. There's a dedicated Concierge, many perks such as free water etc, a dedicated level 2 area that contains a gym, a swimming pool with deck chairs, and a bar with tables and chairs. You also get a leather wristband that they suggest you wear on the premises, and that gets you front of line access to all the Hilton owned restaurants on the property, and that's proved to be very handy. Highly recommended, and we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Honolulu.
Pros: Loved the small lagoon, kiddie pool & water slides,
Our suite was clean & spacious with amazing view.
Cons: Check in was awful-it took over 30 minutes to check in. Huge lines were forming and not really sure why since reservations were already made.
Also annoying was the fact that you were given cards to get towels- however they failed to mention that you had to return them otherwise you would have to pay a. $10 per card!!! we usually do express check out just so we don't have to deal with front desk again.
Pros: Everything was great! The beach was beautiful, 5$3 staff, facilities, location was excellent!
Cons: The pools were overwhelming, crammed with people. Also, the hot tubs always has children playing in them and were unattended, they weren't very relaxing. An "adult only" hot tub or sauna would be an added bonus! We weren't the only couple frustrated by this.
Cons: Bathroom had a sliding door and no fan. No privacy.
Pros: In a pinch because of an ice storm, we had to find a room before our reservation at the Hale Koa started. Hilton was close, so we picked this hotel. So expensive. Perk was we could walk to our hotel the next day.
Cons: Room was lack luster for a $300 room. And that's all we had really. Super busy and hard to navigate with luggage with all the people swarming around. Waste of money. Breakfast buffet is good but so expensive, and another $35 charge at check out for what? We only stayed one night, and that was one night too long.
Pros: I liked that the location is close to the water
Cons: Much needed room renovations are required in addition to better cleanliness. Parking in the hotel which is required if you have a car is way over priced and even more than the price to rent the actual car. Another resort fee is added at the end which covers items such as yoga and do not apply to everyone is applied. Fine a different hotel that would be your best bet
Pros: Alyssa was very helpful in helping us to switch our rooms and we do appreciate her very much.
Cons: We started off on the wrong foot from the moment we arrived, having to wait over and hour to check in. Yes it was the weekend of the marathon and we understand that but, for the first 45 minutes they had only 3 people checking in the regular guest and only 3 checking in the Hilton elite. After they put another 3 on each side the line moved much quicker. On top of this we had booked a king bed but when we go to the room it was 2 queens and by this time we didn't want to go back to the front desk and wait even longer. They did end up moving us for our second night, but it's still frustrating when you have to move in the middle of your trip. On top of this the beds aren't what i would expect when i'm paying $375 a night..super hard and could almost feel the spring in one of them....needless to say we won't be wasting our money next time we visit Oahu.
Pros: Fireworks show. Location on the beach. Access to 4 lovely pools. Array of shops and restaurants.
Cons: Dated rooms. Decrepit walls/paint fixtures. Missing furniture in my room? Elevators really old.
Pros: Hotel staff, bars, main pool, being right on the beach. I had requested Diamond Head view with the package I bought, and found that I wouldn't get that on arrival BUT the guy that checked us in did find one albeit on a much lower floor but still fantastic view and that made my 50th birthday very special. Drink pricing different in different bars! The resort fee baffles me, no idea what that is actually for. Staff were great and the Pronto Pickle was a life saver after a very full day of sightseeing and touring! Great staff in there too, and we could take hot food to the room with a couple of drinks from the ABC! :o) sitting on the balcony watching the sun go down. Nothing better.
Cons: Check in seems an incredibly slow process and there's little point to the 2 lines for HH members. However, the staff do not let you leave the check in without ensuring you have every bit of information you could want. All very patient staff. Pricey hotel, resort fees, and parking fees, and beer! However, the cost of cocktails were a welcome surprise! The pools are all in the shade by 5pm, which is such a shame.
Pros: Staff were absolutely wonderful. We even had a bellman refuse a tip and a staff member on break offer to help us. Magnificent and gorgeous property in the heart of everything. This is a very large property with several buildings and can get crowded. It is rather easy to get lost also. Attentive staff and service more than makes up for that.
Cons: It is a large property with several buildings so it can sometimes feel like a factory. It is also easy to get lost. However top-notch staff make the difference. We did have a misunderstanding about what kind of breakfast we got for a prepaid fee and where it was located. We were told we should get a full breakfast. Vouchers said continental breakfast in one building - staff told us to go to a different restaurant (mistake). Again, staff made everything ok.
Pros: Wonderful relaxing atmosphere! Nice walking path along the beach, good variety of restaurants, beautiful views & grounds, staff was very nice
Cons: Main pool is dated, looks 1970s, MAIN COMPLAINT: NO Room Service. What major hotel resort has no room service? I was disappointed. food is pricey. Go to a market & get waters, fruit snacks etc. & save $
Pros: Loved it was walking distance to a lot of things. Liked the resort feel. Romantic and family beach. Nice walks on waterfront.
Cons: So crowded it's hard to get around in car.. Person kept knocking on the wall when we would have tv on past ten( I didn't feel it was up very high since no one could talk and hear tv at same time). Very expensive hotel. But again, you must pay to be on waterfront. Sand was odd on resort by water like it was poured to make a actual beach there.

Located 3 miles from downtown Honolulu, 15 minutes from HNL airport, 7 minute walk to convention center, 10 minute walk to Ala Moana Shopping Center.
Cons: I was really bummed that on the day we checked out, we couldn't use the pool at all. Didn't get to spend a lot of time there, because check in the day before was not until 3pm.
Pros: Adults only Pool. Beautiful room. Great Bar service at pool.
Cons: drunk lady from Chicago in Pool.
Pros: We stayed in an ocean view room. The view from our room and the pool was lovely. Great room service. Soft linen. Nice tv. Room is just ok for the price.
Cons: Infinity pool for adults only. Internet connectivity in and out.
Pros: - Interior design and grounds right on the beach
- Adults-only pool
- Friendly, professional service
- Great hotel entrance
- High speed elevators
- Rooms were clean and good, but not luxurious
Cons: - Resort charge of $31/day seemed steep for wi-fi usage
- Breakfast buffet of $28/person was overpriced for the quality
Pros: Overall very gd!! Infinity pool was perfect!
Cons: Our room card was not working eventhougn we have not rven checked out. So we wasted our time wating security and got new card etc..
Pros: Even though it was only 1 night. It was amazing! I've stayed at the Sheraton Waikiki before and each time it just keeps getting better and better.
Pros: View, location, pools, spa options
Cons: The line to check in/out was very long.
Pros: The adults only infinity pool. Amazing!!!! 10/10
The location 10/10
This is my second time staying here after visiting 2 years ago with a friend. The most trip with my fiancè. The price seems expansive however I can assure you it's definitely worth it. The pool and location best in Waikiki. We had a standard city view room. And the room was a decent size with all standard features. The location and adults only pool, make this the best hotel I've stayed at.
They also have a great kids pool if traveling with a family, with slides.
Cons: Loved everything.

Enjoy modern Hawaiian style found in 1,636 guest rooms—with ocean views from many of our rooms and all 136 suites. Relax in the comfort of island accommodations boasting the pure white Sheraton Signature Sleep Experience, an LCD TV, and a fresh-air lanai.
Cons: Beds were just awful and uncomfortable... Spa was not a high value experience
Cons: That we had to leave so soon haha
Pros: I liked the fact that the view for the room we had was pretty comforting. We were able to see the ocean and close to the other shops. It was walking distance from many restaurants and overall me and my other half had a great time.
Cons: I didn't like the fact that there wasn't a microwave. However there was an alternative to make hot water using their coffee/tea machine. But that's minor compared to some other hotels we've been in.
Pros: We liked the location on Kalakaua Ave. across from Waikiki beach and walking distance to restaurants, shops and entertainment.
Cons: The pool is small for the size of the resort but we had the beach so we made it work for ourselves.
Pros: The bathroom had a bidet!
Cons: Noise, overpriced, busy, the shops on site staffing was unfriendly, too service food was horrible and they only serve till pm
Pros: I liked everything. The room was beautiful, the view was spatscular and the staff was always friendly. I did not plan on all the hotel and parking fees and the front desk was able to work with me by signing me up for the club membership and giving me a military discount. I will deffeintly be coming back and reffering everyone to this Hyatt!
Pros: It has pretty nice view and close to beach.
Cons: I booked the room which has king bed and ocean view.
But when I visited hotel there was no room of right that.
I heard that my wife and I gotta stay 2 single bed inspite of we were in honey-moon.
Staff in hotel told me "We do NOT guarantee the room type whatever I booked the room via Kayak."
I claimed 3 times but nothing changed.
Finally we spent more money($25 per night) to upgrade king-bed room.
I wanna say u guys going to stay this hotel "They do NOT guarantee the room type."
Pros: King size bed, quiet/clean room, n location perfect walking distance yo beach n shops

Cons: The room had an extremely unpleasant smell. Some of the towels also had stains on them. I wish it was a bit more clean because for the price it is a great deal.
Pros: Best service and room environment at this price. I will come back if I will travel to Hawaii again.
Discover the Coconut Waikiki, a family-friendly boutique hotel with classic island-chic style, located in the heart of Waikiki and renovated in Summer 2016. Featuring bright rooms, private balconies, a pool with sun deck, and complimentary continental breakfast, make this your island home away from home.
Pros: Service was always friendly, prompt and efficient.
The hotel is also quiet and great for relaxing - away
from the hustle and bustle of downtown Waikiki. The
beautiful Aquarium is just a few steps away. Do not
forget to get your breakfast or other meal at the
beautiful ocean-front restaurant.
Pros: This hotel is ocean front property. They contacted me days prior my arrival to inquire about my accommodations and special requests. I mentioned how I would be getting married during my stay. I was upgrade to a room with a beautiful view free of charge. The room service is quick and food is delicious. I really enjoyed my time there :D
Cons: There was some construction going on during the day time. It was loud and caused dust inside the hotel.
Pros: Location at the quiet end of Waikiki; nice almost private beach. Staff was very polite and helpful.
Cons: The cost of hotel';s food and drink (2 restaurants, expensive bar).
Pros: Location was perfect, felt like a place the locals go and was still close enough to the busy tourist areas, that you can walk.
Pros: best parts - location truly beachfront. staff, RON in particular. He went out of his way to give us a lift to relatives in Salt Lake. Thanks again Ron!
Dinner was great (a little pricey, but what's not in Waikiki)... quick service from William- Thanks William.
Cons: Room was quite small, nice size bed, no room for side tables, just enough to squeeze out of bed and into the bathroom or out the room.
TV and wifi quite bad! TV often freezes, lots of strong wifi addresses but cannot connect to them only the weak ones and then get disconnected every now and then.
Pros: fantastic views! room service food was excellent and fast. friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: one thing they must improve is to let guests know that in order for the AC to work, all sliding glass doors must be fully closed - if left ajar the AC shuts off.
Cons: No inroom tea
Pros: The service was excellent. Restaurants and facilities were top notch. One on property you need not go anywhere else. A great experience!
Cons: That we had to leave.
Hotel Features. This hotel offers graceful views of beautiful Hawaiian sunsets. Just steps from ocean activities, guests will find a fully equipped fitness facility and a surf school. The surf school features professional instructors, and the surf shop rents beach equipment. Located on the 2nd floor of the hotel, Juju'be Salon and Clinic uses the Reju'be system, a combination of science aesthetic techniques, and ancient healing techniques. Dining options include 5 food and beverage venues, including the Miyako Japanese Restaurant and The Hau Tree Lanai Restaurant, a beachside restaurant located on the lobby level.
Guestrooms. All 122 guestrooms have furnished lanais or balconies, free WiFi, cable flat-screen TVs, safes, refrigerators, and complimentary toiletries. Laundry facilities and beach towels and mats are provided. Free cribs (infant beds) are available on request.
Pros: The newly renovated rooms with plenty of power/USB outlets, the large flat screen TV and location
Cons: Slow elevators, in window air conditioner.
Pros: the new look and feel of the environment
Cons: they still was in renovation mode, but i'm sure it'll be 10 times greater soon
Pros: I liked the new renovations. The view was amazing from our roomindid
Cons: I didn't like that I wasn't aware of the security deposit while reserving my room. Caused an issue with the payment but was able to still stay for a night. Front desk staff was amazing however housekeeper was not polite.
Pros: I've been to Maile Sky Court before years ago & I must say that the rooms have definitely changed a lot! My boyfriend and I had no complaints. Inviting, comfortable, clean & beautiful. We know that the place is still undergoing some renovations and although we were a bit disappointed that the pool was closed we understand. We would definitely recommend Maile Sky Court to our friends and family!
Pros: Our room had both a fridge and a microwave, which was nice. The location is also pretty good, being about 4 blocks from Waikiki.
Cons: Because the hotel is under construction until about December 30, things like the pool are out of commission. Also, parking isn't included in the nightly price - it's an extra $26 per night, and because of the construction you aren't guaranteed a spot. If you can't park there, tell the front desk and they'll refund that night's parking fee, but it's still a pain.
Pros: Yhe friendl iness of the staff.
Cons: I know that the hotel is under construction, but there should be a better aor flow in the hallways and elevators.
Pros: Comfortable overnight stay.
Cons: Bathroom sink faucet leaked.
Pros: Location is great & service is always good. This is the hotel we like to stay at.
Cons: The pool area is a bit rundown & the bed was a little saggy but still great overall.
Pros: Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was a plus - good walking distance to all major beaches and restaurants.
Cons: Bed was hard. Walls are thin - very loud neighbors heard their whole conversation and their small child crying at really early morning hours - need to be mindful of this.
Pros: Staff was friendly
Cons: A/c in room wasn't working and it was hot as hell!
Pros: The hotel is in a great location, close to food, shopping, and the beach.
Cons: I was so unhappy with the staff. They were rude and made us feel very uncomfortable. We had multiple issues with the parking garage that is connected to the hotel, including getting our bicycle locks cut and our bikes stolen. When we addressed these issues, the staff made us feel awkward and were quick to blame us. We stayed for 8 nights, and we feel that the price for the hotel was outrageous for the quality. The rooms are cramped and haven't been updated in years. I have never been so upset with a hotel's staff or have ever felt so ripped off, I really wish I would have spent my money on the surrounding hotels and avoided this hotel completley.
Pros: Location is not bad, since it's on Waikiki.
It was about as cheap as any other hotel I could find on Waikiki.
Cons: I was in Honolulu for a 22 hr layover and picked Maile Sky Court because all the hostels were booked out. It was one of the cheapest I could find on Waikiki at short notice. I thought I would get a nice view since it's a tower and the wired internet access sounded like a good idea since I had work to do.
The view would have been great except the window of my room was so dirty and scratched that you could only see clearly with your face right up against the glass.
The wired internet costs $10 for a day and was SO SLOW. I had some work to do and wanted to stream some TV shows afterwards but I ended up tethering my laptop to my phone instead. That's right, the T-mobile cell network was about 10-100x faster than the wired internet.
I went for a swim in the pool, which is about the size of your average back yard pool and was in need of some maintenance (broken tiles, etc). The spa/jacuzzi had yellow police style tape around it so I assume it was out of order.
