Cologne hotels in Nippes

The bed was creaky and the room I stayed at was located at basement and it was noisy in the morning. Heating system was poor and the room was very cold.

Very friendly staff. Hallways were dirty.

Owner waited for us to check in at 02.00 a.m.! Very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Room (very clean) could do with an overhaul. A bit expensive for what it was.

The food was good and plentiful but lacked imagination in terms of presentation. The Camembert was the exception On arival at 1600 the hotel was closed and locked. when phoned the person answering could not speak English so the hotel remained closed. the hotelier returned at 1700 and let us in. our room was in the attic on the second floor but this involved 4 flights of stairs and no lift. no offer of help with luggage was forthcoming.
