The hotel and rooms are extremely clean, modern and comfortable. You would never think that it was a hostel, as the service, decor and facilities are that of much more expensive accommodation. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and always happy to help. I would definitely reccommend this hostel to my friends and family and would stay here again if I went back to Cologne.

Excellent service, efficient check in and great location. Can be very noisy with people walking on the tiled floor outside the room, and the noise from the street on the outside at some points.

The rooms and bathrooms were extremely clean. You sleep in your own bed instead of a bunk bed. There's a full bar and the food at the restaurant is pretty good. The staff is really helpful and polite. Plus, the hostel is about a 5-10 minute walk from the train station in Cologne. There aren't too many bars or clubs located close to the hostel.

The rooms were fairly comfortable, matched the price. The location was perfect. The bathroom (in the room) was small, not practical, it had no sewage drain on the floor, so spilled water couldn't leave (and it wasn't mopped during the day, although the trash bin was emptied). The internet infrastructure was slow (for the amount of people that tried to use it) and the wi-fi didn't work on the second floor. The breakfast was expensive for what it could offer (therefore we didn't eat there - fortunately great bakeries are available in the area).
