Loved the cookies! Nicely decorated room. Friendly reception folks and check-in. Ate dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed my chicken sandwich. Ate dinner ate the restaurant and it was slow service. It took an hour to get our food. Saw our waiter on the way back to our room after he had delivered room service. Lesson learned? Get room service and forget the long dining room wait. Didn't like the additional $24.99 per day parking fee.
Nothing special Very rude front desk personnel, parking was 25,dollars a night to park at the hotel I was paying for
My wife and I selected the DoubleTree for its across-the-street location to Johns Hopkins University where my daughter attends. In this aspect, the hotel has no peer. We found our King room spacious, quiet and clean. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The trademark DoubleTree cookies were delicious. Since our stay included Easter Sunday, we made arrangements for the Easter Brunch at the Alizee American Bistro. Each selection was outstanding in its preparation. I particularly liked the roast lamb. Overall I enjoyed my visit. The DoubleTree Inn at the Colonnade is a fairly small hotel which occupies only the first three floors of a much larger building. As such, ammenities are understandably limited (i.e. no pool or jaccuzi, no recreation room) , although there is a small workout room. Parking is $24/day self park (which corresponds to $1/hr metered street parking on city streets) .
The registration personnel were very helpful and considerate. Really enjoyed my stay. I certainly will recommend the double tree to friends and family.
Great hotel, very nice staff. Kayak had a wrong price for the hotel listed. I payed $60 dollars more than I could have. Will not use Kayak again.
excellent staff, cafe, bar, location mattress wasn't as comfortable as I would have wished--I think they've changed to sleep number mattresses but not in my room
The Radisson has paper thin walls which revealed a rather amorous couple - or threesome - in the next room. Besides them, I could hear the neighbors on the other side as well. None of it was very conducive to sleeping.... Oh well. Never again.
Very difficult location to find even when you finally find the parking lot. restaurant was very overpriced for the quality. Ordering take out does not include napkins, knife fork or spoon. Handicap rooms are 100 meters + from the elevators. Floors in handicap bathrooms are very very slippery. No rooms until the 3d floor. Handicap rooms ONLY come with twin beds.
loved you take dogs
Tucked into a nice area close to Hampden and Johns Hopkins but still a quick ride to downtown. Free parking was a real plus in Baltimore. Hotel staff was helpful with directions and maps to navigate the connection of the two Interstates. I overheard a couple who had booked for one day but needed three. The staff took care of it with ease and took the obvious anxiety away from the young wife. Planning to stay there whenever I visit. Small hotel restaurant causes real backup at breakfast. Printer did not work in lobby business center.
Friendly helpful staff. Great location for great price
Price, location Parking stoppers too high and the car can get stuck if you go a little too close.
The Price Staff completely unfriendly and unwelcoming, constantly make guests feel like they are under surveillance. Have a weird rule that no visitors are allowed in the rooms. Also, they sneak in a $100 deposit for rooms once you check-in. They scan your ID and Card information as well. Very sketchy.
