We thought we booked with the avis at the airport, completely our mistake, but the lady at the avis at the airport was EXTREMELY rude, ive never experienced anything like it, when we were finally able to get to the right avis the lady told us that the one at the airport easily couldve pulled up our reservation.Reviewed 2 Nov 2026

The team at Avis Mérida airport are great. Had to wait a little on arrival for the car. They did not have the SUV Model I reserved. They upgraded to the luxury model at no extra charge.Reviewed 2 Nov 2026

The only thing I suggest is that at Manchester airport, there is no free car parking for pov's, if you are driving to pick up a rental . For instance, I drove my sedan to get my pickup truck rental at Manchester. I had to pay for parking for 24 hours. Not a big deal, but the Avis counter said there were other such comments. Just let people know ahead of time, it'll soothe the surprise.Reviewed 31 Oct 2026

My experience was poor, at pickup it too more 45 for the rep to sort out my reservation. Drop off was great. Car was not what expected, it had exterior body damage, it was not well maintained, battery ran out on me several times and had to request assistance from passing vehicles, ultimately I had provider replace the battery and took 5 hours out of my time.
