Please contact me on a rule change! I have been added to you rentals in the past as a second driver or used a corporate card to rent cards. Alamo did not allow me to use a card with anothe name and my ID to rent the car. They said the card and the DL had to be the same. I was able to rent a car in this fashion at a competitor.8.8 Very Good

The cars are in great shape. I was given a pre-assessment of the condition of the vehicle and found some undocumented scratches. I returned to the desk to have the record updated and they were very courteous. Be vigilante when looking over your rental before driving away. Shuttle service is prompt and the company staff is very good.Cons:

First off the shuttle took forever. We get to the office and they said they did not have our standard car that we reserved because we were late, the website would not allow me to change the time of pickup, so I called and left a message that they apparently did not listen to letting them know what time we would be arriving. They ended up giving us a SUV that was a piece of junk, we could not even believe that they had such a car in their inventory. It had numerous huge paint chips all over the front of the car and there was masking tape residue all around the windshield, we were afraid to drive it, and the gas tank was empty. It was very late so we took the vehicle but not before inquiring about a replacement, call tomorrow and reserve a new one. I call first thing the next morning and a very rude clerk told me they had no cars and we could call back at 4pm and check if any were available, and NO we could not just reserve one. Didn't want to spend my vacation time trying to get a replacement so I just went on line and found a new car from a different agency, so happy. Do not rent from this company if you have other choices.Economy Rent a Car

They need to be removed from priceline as an option. I picked them because I trusted priceline would vet their providers but clearly that did not happen. They charged a hidden 12/day admin fee for me to use my credit card insurance which increased my cost from 350 to 500 for the car. I also needed the car to travel long distance but when I get there the "unlimited milage" turned out to be just 200km a day. The car itself smelled terrible and was a mix of smoke and curry. I spent my two weeks in the car with the windows open as the smell never disapated. Extremely dissatisfied from every aspect of the experience.2.0 Poor

Not easy to find where Payless is picking up customer to bring us to the car. Car outside not clean at all (due to rain...), inside not good too. I reserved a pick up time between 11-12pm through kayak. Payless was not located at the airport, yet the address shows up as the airport. They will drop off cars at the airport, but you have to call them first to let them know you arrive. This created 2 challenges for me: 1 - no reception as I don't have a Canadian phone service provider & 2 - Payless was closed at 10 so when I was finally able to call, no one picked up anyways. Unfortunately, even though I clearly stated my needs on the reservation, Payless could not provide what I needed, I was in a foreign country & needed to get to my hotel asap as it was getting late, sooo I rented a car from a competitor (on Memorial Day weekend) and paid about 4 times more. Your Discount Car Rental location didn't have any cars, saying they had rented out 30 the day before and none came back. So I sat there with others for an hour being told "15 minutes till we take you to another location with cars" Turns out the other location is a really poor rental company named Advance Car and Truck Rental (Google 2 star rating with reviews of customers being bullied) that just happens to have the cars we need.. I'm pretty sure they have an agreement going on between the two because its too convenient and this other place wouldn't survive without Discount dumping customers on them. To sum it up, they told me to drop the car off whenever I wanted at Discount and they'd get it in the morning. My contract with them says I have it until 7:25am. They called me 4 times during dinner to threaten me to bring it back to their location by 11pm, or they will keep calling and start charging my credit. So not only did I miss Thanksgiving thanks to all of this, but now I'll have to dispute their "Upcharges" with my credit company. And quite frankly, because of how this was all handled, I'm never going to book with your company again, and I'll never recommend anyone I know book with you either. Sorry to say, but these guys were so rude and threatening on the phone and in person(shoving me out of the way when I dropped off the car) that I'm completely turned off of going through your company.2.0 Poor

Found that they canceled reservations without any reason. No notifications nothing( they rent car to different person on higher price). Rent a car for one week. Treat me very bad. No help nothing. Talk rudely (even it’s there fault). Spent 3 hours but no luck and no reason, no response. Need to rent a car from other company as everything was planned for my vacation.
