Staff spoke good English, and were generally very helpful. Breakfast was terrible. Room was small, and looked onto a power unit. Although I paid for a double room, I only got a single bed !
Comfort. Breakfast. Location.
style, comfort, restaurant & libary
WIFI do not good in some of a rooms Sometimes smoking rooms you get instead of non-smoking
Excellent location, just 2 min walking from old town. underground car parking included in price. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hotel and room was nice and clean. Also quiet, there was wedding party in restaurant during the night we stayed in hotel but we could not hear any noise at the room. Nice hotel!
Atmosphere and style, pictures on the walls, smiling and welcoming staff, cosiness and good reputation, no haste and too much people around I do not like body cream in the bath-room
Ideal location with fine rooms and exceptional stAff
Ideal location for Riga old town.
location, high standard
the locatoin the staff the breakfast the standart room is small......
Room interior - Bathroom- I usually stay to this hotel 3 times per year since 2000. It is not a 5 stars hotel, there is no lagguage servise at the entrance and to the room. It was raining and no umbrellas at all for clients - Service decreased expecially after taking over from Radisson. Do not know If i will stay here next time.
Spa old tv
great breakfast, great view from the Skybar.
nice sky bar, near to city
good breakfast, good views from the window, good location.. all is ok
It is too big and a lot to walk to get from the lobby to the bedroom on wing 6 The bar on the 26th floor was very noisy and full
night club voodoo no
The situation of the hotel, survice
The hotel was modern, clean, quiet in the corridors and therefor the rooms too and we found it safe I missed toilets/bathroom in the staircase and lobby area. Not even in Sky bar did I see a toilet near the elevator....
the location is splendid, the breakfast very good
1.Big, comfortable and nice rooms. 2.The dining is very tasty as in the best Michelin restaraunt. 3.Evening service.
I really liked the hotel, staff helpfulness. However, as the level in hotel where they self-level building that is not exposed on Sunday the restaurant is a great lack of respect for guests. And surely I am not convinced that the explanation of staff in Riga, most restaurants have stopped running on Sundays.
First and foremost the staff were delightful. They were friendly, helpful at all times and very welcoming. It was one of our birthdays during the course of our stay and the hotel sent a complimentary piece of cake to our room as a birthday treat which was a particularly nice touch. The rooms themselves were spacious and the heated bathroom floor was a real luxury.
First class service! Very central location, walking distance from all interesting places in Riga. This historical hotel with luxury atmosphere snd very new facilities (spa, swimming pool etc.). I looked for real Deluxe class hotel with swimming pool to relax , it's so important for me. And I have found it, it's Gallery Park Hotel! Especially I would like to say several words about Restaraunt: all the meal is the Art Object (very creative decorated and tasty). Everything exceeded my expectations. I recommend all to stay only in this hotel in Riga.
central location rooms on front have bright lights outside,24hours of daylight,to hard to sleep
Close proximity to historical areas. The fact that the old walls from original building were not hidden away. Food was excellent. Courteousness of staff. Absence of tea making facilities.
Quiet street. Great, central location. Comfortable bed. Nice en-suite. Friendly staff. Got exactly what I was expecting from the website. Confusion at the end as to what had and had not been paid for, but they accepted that I had already paid and took me at my word. Breakfast basic but adequate.
The location and service and food hard matress in the bed
A very friendly and helpful staff - both before and during our stay. A nice breakfast buffet, where you can have freshly made pancakes, omelets etc., if you wish so. The hotel itself felt very cozy and the rooms as well were nice. A very good location in the midst of the Old Town of Riga. It is very nice that there is an elevator, when you use crutches. When we unfortunately locked the key for one of the suitcases into the bag there was no help to find regarding a tool that could help break ud the lock. This was a very small thing, but at the time a bit frustrating that there was no tool box available at the hotel.
Flott beliggenhet i gamlebyen, kort avstand til ¨'alt'.
Good service, beautiful setting handy for old town
Staff was nice, breakfest the same I have booked dbl but I have received twin :((
Good size, clean, modern room. Very nice staff, good service. Nice location in the old city and in working distance to the Central station
old part of hotel is best as reconstruction noise from other rooms
Everything was excellent. None.
I liked the location of the hotel. It was easy to explore the centre of Riga on foot from this hotel. I found my room rather small and the bathroom with its bright lighting rather intrusive.
New, clean Poor breakfast, room service not ip to the level, ot really right in the very center, takes a walk (on a rainy weather doesn't seem to be so near from the main sightseeing)
Very clean and cosy. Magnificent breakfast. Fast room service. I surely recommend this one because it's a great buy for this money. Minor thing - if you stay not alone in the room there would be some privacy matters because bathroom has a glassdoor. There were no booking.com reservation when I arrived, but I was lucky they had room I wanted and I showed them my confirmation so everything worked out great. Parking cost me 18$ for the night and at the morning park-machine didn't take my card, which I used minute ago to pay for the room, so I had to come back at the reception.
We booked twin standard room but asked for double and they provided us with better double bedroom at the same price as twin. The interior and exterior design of the hotel is very good, the atmosphere is nice, the barman at the bar is great - he makes better cocktails than at Sky line bar! The bed is very comfortable, the bathroom was always clean. We spent 10 days at this hotel and never had any troubles. The breakfast is very good with big variety of various kinds of food. Despite the hotel was full at the time we were there we never heard any sounds from neigbours. It was a little bit dusty in the room (shelves, table), so it should be better cleaned. Otherwise everything is perfect!
The staff were all excellent and were keen to help at all times and spoke English. The breakfast was very good.
Very nice location
Nice looking rooms, good and helpfull staff Paper thin walls, you can heer every sound from all the rooms around you. Had 2 very bad nights' sleep
Everything excellent! Horrible coffee: after two weeks travelling the Baltics this was the worst.
Staff were very helpful and friendly. As a single woman, I found it a pleasant and safe environment. Nice area of Riga with park opposite. Although not in Old Town, I found that a bonus as not overrun with tourists outside. Not so much what I didn't like, but just that large tour groups do stay here and one morning at breakfast over two hundred Americans. Staff worked very hard to keep supply of food going and tables cleared. I was here for six nights and this only happened one morning.
breakfast, room and staff no pool- having to pay to use the pool at the sister hotel
localition and room with the perfect air condicioner the sound from the next door club
The staff was very friendly and the service was great. Perfect location right in the center of the old city. Strange that it is a gap under roomdoors to the hallway.
I enjoyed its friendly staff, excellent location and the general good design and comfort. An excellent location for a city break in Riga.
Staff were very attentive, location of hotel central, room was large weather was poor
Good locations. Booking price and hotel price is defferent, small problem and was problem
New, clean, small hotel at the center of old city with good design of space and good staff. The breakfast was excellent.
Excellent hotel, room was very nice and a good size, hotel was right in the middle of the old town so perfect location. Also, the restaurant was fantastic. Would definitely stay there again no complaints.
clenliness of the room and hotel staff were just perfect!!! I liked it very much.
Nice, new, clean, quite high class hotel. Sounds from the pedestrian street (+ night club) during the night.
Nice room, staff were really helpful and friendly and the location was very central. Nothing. The hotel scored 10/10
Extremely friendly and helpful stuff
Small, quiet hotel, excellent location. Friendly, really nice and professional staff.
The staff was very welcoming and kind in every way. Location was excellent: in the heart of the old town. Rooms were tidy and clean and the hotel area was very quiet. All in all, well worth the money. Breakfast was very limited and not something a scandinavian is customed to in hotels, but i guess this is the way in most of the hotels in Riga. Also, the floor of the bathroom gets very slippery when wet. Other than those, nothing bad to say about this hotel.
Location and fairly new Hotel Quite simpel but nice and nice bathroom No Breakfast
This is an excellent hotel. It is ideally located for exploration of Old Town Riga (the most popular region for tourists) and the New Town is in reasonable walking distance (20 mins). The staff are very friendly and the rooms are very comfortable. We had no noise problems as some reviews have mentioned. The included breakfasts are sufficient if you order toast as well as pancakes.
good internet, perfect restaurant for meetings. definitely recommend .
Responsive staff, very clean rooms, small property. If windows in a room are open you can easily hear people talking while walking by, but that is due to the street the hotel is situated on being very narrow. I do not think there is an elevator in this building, so it may be hard for some people to climb the stairs to the third floor. I personally had no issue with that. Overall I would definitely stay at this hotel again, and I do recommend it.
Perfect location - in the heart of Old Riga, but in very small, quiet street. The hotel has a charming small restaurant with a garden and really romantic open atrium. Breakfast was quite symbolic, it was all right for us but would be poor for hungry travellers.
Nice Hotel in the centre of Riga of old town, friendly staff and tidy rooms
sercices,room and breakfast
nice staff, very good place in center of Old city, silent, good breakfast and restaurant.
It's a great boutique, right in the Vecriga (Old Riga), on a narrow, beautiful street. The rooms are comfortable and clean with a good selection in the minibar, while the English speaking staff is very friendly. During the stay, definately go to the restaurant, their cook is top 3 in Latvia, as they said, and the food really recommends him. Wi-fi for free is available, also. Nothing I can think of, really
Probably the best location in Riga, friendly stuff, warm rooms and spacious, nice breakfast. Close to railway station and bus terminal, walking distance to the main square matresses could be better
Nice hotel, good staff, great location
Good location, good service and nice staff. Maybe the hotel has seen it's best days. I stayed there once 8 years ago and then is was very nice, but nothing has been done to the rooms since then.
You have to learn the staff to say good morning at least!
Location definetely. Just in the heart of the old city. The comfort is ok for a travelling, but not for thoise who look for stars. And the personnel on the reception is really nice. all of them.
The breakfasts were great. The rooms were not as well equipped as I had expected, given the pricing of the rooms.
Excellent location, nice size room, friendly staff, good breakfast spread Nothing particularly negative about this place but keep in mind that this is an old facility so everything will look, feel, and smell like an old facility.
Staff very helpful ,breakfast, good ,lots to pick from.Good coffee. A place I have stayed at before, and have enjoyed. My stay was very good, 2 wonderful weeks.
Excellent location, good breakfast which included hot dishes, large room, good value for money.
Its location near the railwaystation and center old city was convenient. The general atmosphere at the reception was one of no real interest in the guest. Perhaps not the direct fault of the reception personel but the change of time was not mentioned; thus missing my transport and did I have to wait another 7 hours. The toilet was not clean on ariving. The room (5212) was large but the furnature was basic only, the fixing of one of the curtains hing loose in the wall; the general atmosphere of the room was not impressive at all. The price of the room, 90 euro, per night was out of proportion. Dinner at the restaurant and beakfast were oke.
First of all, the hotel is situated in the Old Town of Riga. Also it's only 10 min walk from the railway station. The outsides of the hotel look romantic with the cobbled pavements. Breakfast is very good (especially the salad with marinated cucumbers :) ). The staff is very polite and pleasant. I'd defnitely recommend this hotel to anyone. No complaints.
central, calm room available,
Location, location, location...overlooking cathedral in old town Decor of the hotel was fantastic Breakfast was superb..just had to walk around the corner Staff were very helpful Overall excellent hotel Room was small and no wardrobes, but hotel in very old building so no big deal really
Style of room; central location. Very small room - barely enough space to open my case. No TV. It was fine for one night, but I would have struggled for longer.
clean, quiet, central, good breakfast
Excellent location, friendly staff, nice quiet room as requested
Nice bathroom's That the breakfast is in a another hotel.
We had a nice room at the back of the hotel. It was very quiet, location is brilliant and the hotelpersonal was very helpfull. The location is excellent as its in the middle of the centre and its in a very old building! When you have breakfast in the restaurant next to Ekes Konvents know that you can order more then one thing on the list and that cost 1,5 Lets krone extra. Not a big problem but you should take notice off. We found one choice was not enough for breakfast. Waitress was not so friendly compared with the extremly friendly staff from Ekes Konvents.
Lovely, beautiful hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. In an excellent location right in the old town. Pretty rooms. Great breakfast too.
I like the fact that it is one of the oldest inns in Riga, and by that a historical building. It is located next to Peters Church, and the church tower is visible from all corners of The Old town Riga and by that easy to find for a forreigner who is not speaking latvian fluently. The teahouse in basement is cosy. I did not like the solution of how they serve breakfast. It is ok enough to go in nextdoor bar, but I would self like to choose what I want for breakfast and not all people like continetal breakfst with egg and bacon.. and in august Riga allready is quite cold, so it would be an idea to keep on heat in bathroomfloor and rooms in general so next time I come I do not have to freeze an catch a cold as how I did the last two times.
Exelent location for sigt seeing No room tea making facities No bath floor mat
its location is very convenient, it is very clean, warm welcoming and friendly serving personnel rooms require a little refurbishment, breakfast should have been richer
I enjoyed my stay in the hotel Man-tess very much: beautiful room design, my room was very clean as well, great location-i can not imagine better location, kind and helpfull stuff. Atmosphere in the hotel is very pleasant: slow music in the lobby, 2 small parrots and fishes.
The location and the big room, with 3 beds
The location is perfect. In the old city nearby the bus terminal
Its an Ok hotel. The room was specious but could have been dusted better. No air conditioner but at least the fan was provided. No toiletries which is strange for boutique hotel. Door is locked after 10 pm or 11 pm. Need to ring to get in. As I said it is just Ok not better nor worse that other hotels we stayed in in Riga.
location and view, good breakfast the water wasn't hot enought
spacious clean room the shower was not workling properly
Interesting quirky hotel very well placed in the centre of the old town. Our suite was wonderful, comfortable and spacious.
all was good. think back in it. staff, quallity, room and price was good nothing
I liked only location Very small hotel, breakfast included only 2 cups of coffee!!I heard rat's scrabbling under the floor, our room was at the 1st floor.
i didn't like.stay in this hotel,i move next day out. too small just 4 rooms in this hotel,,it wasnt clean carpet.roome very small, cold water.Nobody wait for us when we arive i was waiting for room 3 hour.and we send email that hotel that what time we arive nobody know abaut this they didn't check email.....
Clean and good rooms for very low cost only a few meters away from the Old city. All is in walking distance. if you come to drink and have fun with the girls, then you better look for another hotel :)
friendly staff, good location, good price
This little and family hotel is very quiet. The rooms are clean, and if you like kitsch deco, they are lovely. Special decoration, but we like it. This hotel is well-located and easily walkable from the Old Town and the station. A special thank to the boss who is really nice and friendly, always ready to help you. Breakfast was a little poor. No rooms with twin beds and the bed is not very large.
ıt was great . clean cheap and nearly cıty center evertyhing was so good.
I was very pleased with my stay...The staff at my arrival was very helpful and helped me plan out some of my weekend. It is well-located and is easily walkable from the Old Town. Otherwise, a great establishment for a very very inexpensive price . My only comments would be relating to their credit card policy. They advertise themselves as welcoming credit cards, but on arrival they asked for me to pay in cash(but currency change in only few meters) .
