When hiring a car in Paros you will need to be 21 years of age and have had ownership of a licence for at least a year. There are certain car hire companies that may charge an additional young driver’s fee to customers under 25 too. You will not be able to hire a car if you are over the age of 70 due to the insurance companies’ cut-off age. The documents needed for Paros car hire include a valid driver’s licence for at least one year from the date you collect the vehicle. If you do not hold an EU licence you will be required to hold an International Driving Permit. You will also need to show photographic identification in the form of an ID card or passport.
