Parking was horrible with the construction. Super long walk to room.
After staying a night in a room without a tub, they were willing to switch rooms for us to a room with a tub. The first king room we stayed in didn't have a tub or a microwave. The shower had the hair from whoever stayed there last on the floor which was disgusting. The night before we stayed at a comfort inn for more than half the price to save money and that room was actually much nicer than the Gaylord. Wish I would've just saved the money and stayed at the comfort inn and driven in to the Gaylord to walk around it for a couple hours. Also having to paying $26 a night in parking per vehicle is ridiculous and another way they squeeze you for every fume they can.
The rooms were up-scale, lovely bedding, and a very comfy bed. The Staff were friendly and helpful. Full breakfast was complimentary along with an evening "happy hour" including food and cocktails! Also, free shuttle to Airport and into town. As of 3/17/17 the Spa was under repair/reconstruction, so that was not in use.
Close to airport. Hotel located in cell phone dead zone. Wifi was weak on the back side of hotel. No help from staff. No restaurants nearby for food.
The staff was wonderful. Rooms big and comfortable. I would stay there again.
Generally, it was comfortable, convenient and moderately priced. Breakfast was OK. The staff that was supposed to clean the room etc, did not do so 3X and once they started knocking on the door at 8:30 am to clean the room. They apparently don't understand that the hanging card on the door has 2 sides which tell them whether to clean the room or if the guest wants privacy. Desk staff said they did not clean rooms July 4 because staff "worked 1/2 day on the 4th."I tried calling the front desk on 3 different days. They never answered the phone.
All in Complimentry Benefits. We booked for two nights and enjoyed our nights and had planned to be in the area for 7 days. We inquired to stay an additional 5 nights and the rates available were up about 25% higher. We ended up booking somwhere else for 5 nights right next door. Still highly recommend staying at hotel if you are haapy with price.
Staff was great, very friendly, Jon was the best. Food was good and the drinks are always nice. Beds were very uncomfortable for me, way to soft and sunk in. Bathroom door doesn't lock refrigerator was tiny compared to other hotels of this kind I have stayed in. At over $200 a night I expected better.
The breakfast was excellent. The shuttle was great.
Close to the mall. Over priced and charged $50.00 extra at check in. Days Inn was cleaner and 1/2 the price.Would not stay here again.
Clean & modern rooms The eggs at breakfast were an odd shade of yellow
The front where you check in was very nice the room smelled like mold and the refrigerator didn't work, when we had paid extra for a room to have one
A nice clean hotel with quick to the point service. Very comfortable with a convenient location.
Size of room Parking lot doesn't have space to park. Housekeeping did not clean our room. Replaced towels but did not make our room.
the front desk staff was awesome. extremely friendly
The hotel was convenient to city events and economical for location.
privacy, room sizes are nice, full kitchen property is older but still nice
It was very roomy and they try to think of what guests will need. I asked for a baby gate and she told me if they didn't have one they would get one for me and one was brought right away. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient The toilet overflowed on the first flush and my computer couldn't hook up to the internet. They sent the engineer guy right away, but he was very unfriendly and seemed bothered.
very very comfortable bed the room was in like new condition and had amazing shower pressure not often i take 45 minute showers but i loved it the beds are super comfy and the pillows have structure they are not flat pancakes this location shows what the Hampton brand really is an affordable luxury hotel other than the floor protection being left in the elevator after the construction workers left (inital apperance was oh goodness the elevator linoleum is peeling up really bad) nothing really bad to say about the location
Continental breakfast Showers Pillows Humidity in room No bathroom ventilation fan
Comfortable beds and furniture. Very quiet even though parking lot was full. No continental breakfast.
Indoor pool The bathroom had other people's hair all over the floor and shower. For the price they should have a Continental breakfast.
Home2 was a great hotel super close to airport but couldn't hear planes. Staff was super friendly and nice , rooms were very clean and we'll stocked ,I got a suite and it was a lot bigger than I expected, overall a great stay Only issue I had was there must have been a junior hockey tournament the weekend I stayed ,kids were everywhere and extremely loud and running up and down the hallways, but that's not the hotels fault it's the parents.
It was a new facility so everything was shiny and new. The lobby/lounge area was very open, airy and inviting. This is a great place for families with a great pool, walking trails, outdoor grills and picnic area. It was nice but not impressive for the money. The bed and sofa both were very uncomfortable. It was supposed to be a suite but it was the size of a regular room and they had some sort of curtain that was supposed to divide the sleeping area from the rest of the room.
We had a problem with a failing compressor on the refrigerator that was making loud noises and when it couldn't be fixed right away they upgraded us to a nicer room. The pool was really fun with a poolside basketball hoop.
It's location was very close to the Opry which is where all of the activities we were attending were being held. Very convenient and easy to access. Extremely noisy, horrible parking availability and not very clean. Dust was on all of the wood surfaces when we checked in, the air vents were furry because of the dust on them and there was mold on the bathroom ceiling.
Clean. Beds were awesome. Obviously old motel but nice colors with renovation. My door was 75ft from street. Could hear traffic all night. Shades are old and stiff to operate.
Location My room had items needing maintenance: no outlet near bathroom that worked for hairdryer, rattle in the a/c, limited hot water. Additionally, this is a very LOUD hotel the way it is designed with an atrium
