Pros:
Staff at Midland and Harlingen were both very friendly and attentive. Vehicle was clean and provided a very comfortable ride. Drop-off at Harlingen was super easy; just provided ending mileage, parking location and keys and I was on my way. Receipt emailed to me. Will definitely use National again for future rentals.Cons:

The customer service at the MAF terminal is abysmal. Literally, non existant. The young lady at the desk was so preoccupied with her report that she had little interest in helping me. If I had the opportunity to recommend a friend to use Alamo, i would first recommend them to walk, or maybe even ride a donkey before I suggested or even hinted at the possibility of using Alamo for a rental car. Suffice it to say, I couldn't be more disappointed in how I was treated as a customer.2.8 Poor

Place offered a pickup - but then, didn't even know what size it was.Cons:
I didn't like that I was never even offered roadside assistance and had to pay $70 after waiting two hours for a jump start. I understood the $470 initial fee for out of state rental, but not being charged that entire $470 again for returning it in 31 hours instead of 24. I'll pay a competitor twice as much before dealing with this shiesty company again.10.0 Wonderful

The attendant there when I first arrived was annoyed that I would disrupt her free time with my business. Very rude and not hospitable at all. The attendant upon my return was the opposite. Very nice and easy to work with. The vehicle had a broken AC vent but other than that the vehicle was ok.2.0 Poor

Paid a taxi to carry me to get my car and they didn't have any cars available. Was told it would be at least 2 days before they had one. Then had to pay to get back to my truck. Shouldn't make a reservation if you don't have cars available!5.2 Fair

Website gave me one price and when i picked up car it was double the price. Plus checked my account and there was an extra 40 dollars pending on top of what I already paid. Not sure what the extra 40 was for5.6 Fair

So, the car was not ready and they gave me a Jeep, which I wanted, that had not been cleaned out well or washed. The mud from the person before me was still on the car and in the car.
