Location is 20 mins drive to cancun airport and very close to downtown. Room is clean. Internet speed is decent. Close to ADO bus station and collectivos. Good buffet breakfast although not free but decent price. Checkout time is until 1PM. No exhaust fan or window for restroom. Expensive to take cabs from here, I guess they have a tie-up with some cabs. Best to walk a block down and take cheaper taxi.
The bar and lobby area were very nice. The food was pretty good, and it seemed to be in the heart of the city. It was a decent place to stay to unwind after our stay at a resort. The bathroom was kind of shoddy, and the toilet didn't work especially well. It was on a busy street, and right across the street from a very very loud night club. It was hard to get very much sleep with the music blaring all night long.
Personnel was very warm and willing to help to the customers of the hotel. Especially the Reception Personnel was very helpful as ever. Room was gettin cleaned regularly and I felt the safety in the staying period. I thank the Hotel Margaritas for every thing.
the rrom was nice the gym is not good
Bedrooms nice size, clean spotless and excellent service
I appreciated the free internet, the courtyard and pool, the proximity to the bus station, restaurants, mercado and various shops. Because of its location, there are traffic noises at night, but with the air conditioner on, these were a minimal disturbance. The windows were also well insulated and helped with the noise.
Hotel was well situated and very comfortable the staff are awful, they never asked us if we would like drinks when we were buy the pool and tried to rip us off when we checked out. not satisfied
Hotel staff is very friendly. Cleaning of rooms very goog. The rooms are not verycomfortable and need to be refubished.
we stayed one night before travelling on - we were not rushed and didn't need to check out until 1pm. the staff were great and really helpful about local amenities, Great hot choclate nope
Hotel staff, facilities and breakfast
The cocktail waiter/barman - he was fantastic Too far away from anything useful
It was close to downtown Cancun. We were tired when we arrived, and the room they assigned us had not been cleaned. Second room we were given the bathroom door handle didn't work, and the toilet handle broke. We were exhausted so we settled by manually lifting lever to flush toilet.
the sunny pool, great breackfast (buffet style) smell of room (very humid)
Nothing in particular Room was no smoking but there was smell of smoking. Hotel was not central and a long walk for any eating places.
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, especially the door men and the wait staff in the restaurant. The desk clerks were less helpful. Air conditioner units were very noisy had to turn off to sleep
clean, comfortable, polite staff, central location, good value for money
The hotel is located in downtown - close to everything. My girlfriend was sick. I called room service for breakfast. (Breakfast was not included and I was paying for it) They told me that they are busy and we must come downstairs. I went downstairs in the their restaurant. They told me that I can not take food to the room. My girlfriend must come downstairs to eat. I explained but they told me that this is their "hotel policy" and they can not do anything. I walked to a nearby restaurant and got the food. I travel all over the world on a regular basis and never heard such policy in a any hotel!
Staff were super friendly . Especially Carla . Loved her :) Food was great . Thanks to the kitchen staff !! See you Guys soon !!
Pool area was very nice. Close bus bus connections. Long way from beach. Room a little musty smelling. Club a little loud right below us.
Location and the breakfest. It needs a blackout window curtain in some rooms.
Clean rooms, breakfast included, in center of downtown Cancun, easily accessible
Safe in the cupboard didn't work/close
On site tour sales and handy location to downtown.
Free wi-fi, cheep There are not hot water
The hotel staff was very friendly and willing to help. Every day I had two bottles of fresh water in my room. The location is good IF for some reason you would rather be in the downtown area. The room was clean but the A/C could only be switched on or off. When there was a cloudy day, there wasn't any hot water so I had to shower with cold water. The water pressure in the shower was very poor. The Breakfast was very poor, no eggs/salads/cheeses. Would rather stay at the hotel area next time instead of the downtown area.
Reasonable price, centrally located in town of Cancun. Good as a short stopover. Needs a bit of updating, noticed food stains in one corner wall and floor that should have been cleaned.
Friendly staff Hotel is not correctly located on your map.It is a downtown, not the seaside-hotelera zone.
I really liked this hotel. The location is excellent. The bus stop is in front of the hotel, the Mexican Wall-Mart is right next to it and most pubs and clubs that are located in the city center are a few blocks away. The room was very clean the bed was hard and super-comfy. The price was excellent. The hotel has its own restaurant with great food for cheap price and special offers since Mexican school groups often stay there during weekends. I paid 60 pesos (5 USD) for all you can eat dinner (soup, main dish, fruits, soft drinks, desert). The hotel also has its own internet room and call center and additional to that they have Wifi connection at the lobby area (free of charge!!!) The tv signal was pretty bad (but I didn1t really watched tv while i was there). Some of the receptionists English was kind of poor. The owner/manager is supernice though.
it was great place.i had very nice staying there in downtown and in walkable distance from the hotelera zone.the price was very good. it is good option to have an elavator.
Not much there where alot of construction late into wirey hours.they should have warn us before booking.Could have made other arrangements. The staff was more concern about money then service.I guest it is what it is. Itsb International!
The hotel clerk made an exceptional effort to help us with all sorts of things, e.g. place to eat, ordering a pizza, arranging transportation, translating, advice on how much to pay for a taxi ride The website was poor, no details on the hotel and confusion about which hotel was being referred to
It was nice and clean, and there was good facilities, for a low rate. We waited a long time for our order in the bar, and the bartender asked 2 times about the drinks. but it was wrong anyway, when we got it.
It's an afforable place with a pool, hot tub, sun deck, restaurant. Not luxurious, but just fune for the price.
Very clean. Room small, but with comfortable bed and with spacey bathroom / shower. Close enough (up to 15-20 min. unhurried walk) to the ferry (Puerto Juarez). I missed a wardrobe in the room.
The bathroom was clean and well designed. The location was convenient to the ferry dock. The restaurant was good. There was no shopping area, restaurants, or other attractions within close walking distance.
It was good for a transit stop. Early morning, 5am, shuttle cost $20
A shuttle took us to the most wonderful beach place in the morning. The beach was superb, with cabanas and food and amazing all-day whatever-you-want service. Loved it. Made up (almost) for the very bad sleep at the hotel. There was way too much noise, most of it coming from the front desk: staff playing the radio at 4 am; the phone ringing and ringing; male voices talking. I could not sleep past 4 am. Also too much light coming in room from the courtyard outside.
* Front Desk Staff spoke great English * Room was comfortable and clean * Lots of TV channels to choose from * Location was easy for our taxi driver to find * Not bad for a short stay. * Location right off of a major roadway made for traffic noise all night. * Wi-Fi was spotty, only worked for about 5 minutes before dropping. * Although I reserved a double room (with 2 beds) the Front Desk was confused about the number of beds actually in the room, claiming that there was only 1. Since I was sharing a room with my Dad, I was a little concerned but, was relieved to discover there were, in fact, 2 beds.
The staff were very nice, breakfast was really good - alittle pricey for Mexico, but wonderful selection. Inside of the hotel was clean. On line, we registered for a "Jr suite" so we could have two Queen beds & pull out sofa since we have two, tall teenaged boys, we wanted separate beds...got to hotel and they do not have that type of room! So we had just two queen beds. Room is large but stark! No ammenities like extra towels, soap, shampoo...shower is the flat on floor variety so it floods the bathroom and into the bedroom.
very poor location. not restaurant or shops near by. the double room was bright, modern and spacious. The junior suite, howere, was worn-out and smelled and it didn't contain a sofa-bed but a sofa only.
We had an excellent stay here. We had a single night before catching our flight home. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, the wifi worked great, the location was great. The staff was helpful and friendly. They had one of the nicest "continental" breakfasts that I've seen in my travels, with a large selection of fresh cut fruit, fresh bakery products, "make your own waffles", and 6 hot food items. We went to the top floor by accident and bumped into the general manager of the hotel, who gave us a quick "tour" of the city pointing out some interesting points on the sky line. We would stay here again.
Location Was absolutely bad experince, never coming back or recommended !!
The location was great for us. It is located between the American hotel strip and the Mexican area of Cancun, giving us easy access to both worlds. From the hotel there is great access to transportation. It was not easy to get USD funds changed to MX Peso.
This is a new hotel, rooms have all comforts for very low prices. The parking is very useful because we were renting a car. The bed was not clean, like if sheets have been used already and not changed. We asked to have the bed changed but since it was late in the night, they just provided us with clean sheets (which were very old and stained, even if clean) and we had to redo the bed ourselves. The air conditioning is very noisy.
Very good staff, nice modern room Not a fantastic location. Room without a window wasn´t great.
Very friendly staff and nice and clean rooms! Good value for the money! On booking.com it said that there was a shuttle bus to the beach, but that was not true.
Good, comfortable and clean rooms, great beds, huge HD LCD televisions, good internet connection in rooms. Excellent staff most of whom speak english, very helpful and efficient. The hotel has a beach club with transportation. Good location around the corner from market 28 and 10 minutes walk from ADO bus station. The food was good, with good prices and a good selection for breakfast available ( cereals, fruit, eggs, hotcakes etc all on the menu) The onsite cafe and restaurant doesn't do cappucino coffee. The atmosphere in the restaurant needs improving.
Extremely clean and confortable. Close to restaurants
There was very little to say that was above average for the hotel. The service staff were very friendly and helpful. I did not like the pushy timeshare sales pitch that we were steered into from the minute we checked in.
The weather was great, fresh fruit at each meal and the staff was very pleasant. Internet service was a challenge to use and our room was rather noisy.
The waterpark is a huge hit with kids up to about 10. The entertainment team led fun soccer & volleyball games. We went at low season, so didn't have any problem with waiting for anything. The fancy Mexican restaurant had delicious food. The buffet was average. The breakfasts were delicious. Would have liked a fridge in room. Kids wanted apple juice for breakfast.
The hotel was great and the staff was nice. Each room had its own WiFi. There was a living room area, along with a large bedroom and bathroom. Everything was updated and was nicer than the hotel we stayed in for 180.00 per night on the beach. The only complaint We have regarding this hotel was the smell of our room. We aren't sure if it's the cleaning supies or what but it was pretty horrible. If you can get past the smell though the hotel is great to stay in.
Friendly staff Good location for off-kulkana Hotel desk operator wouldn't assist with anything like advising a place to go snorkeling or how to call Mexican collect call operator Bugs in my bed Room smelled like smoke
Don't expect more its a small motel with 10X10 pool so your back yard pool is bigger then this.
The room was super clean, large. Well done rooms and just a good friendly place
The staff mostly and the ease of my stay It's right next to a busy casino that makes parking anywhere near the hotel a little difficult.
Friendly/Helpful Reception and hotel staff Nice & clean Spacious, comfortable room. Extras in the room: coffee maker, microwave, mini fridge Beautifully updated, spacious bathroom. Excellent water pressure - especially if you have long hair to wash Privacy around pool area. Fitness center Business center On site restaurant & complimentary continental breakfast. Excellent downtown location: public transport/bus stop 50 yards from entrance. Mall 2 blocks (5min walking) away. Supermarket, pharmacy & restaurants all close-by (walking distance). Complimentary DVD's to choose from to watch if you'd like. SMOKE FREE. Thank goodness. Booking via Kayak saved me 50% off the price you'd pay if you reserved at the front desk. Not kidding. There is nothing I didn't like about this hotel for this price point, and I have rather high expectations. Comparable to a 3.5 to 4 star hotel in the USA. There is nothing I didn't like about this hotel. Highly recommended.
staff was friendly, great value, the rooms were nice and came with a couch, fridge and dining table
Norman was awesome. He was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful.
Everything was excellent. The room was comfortable and clean. We had a wifi hotspot outside room, so very fast connection. We had plenty of hot water and water pressure. The hotel food was great and really good restaurants were within walking distance. The pool area was private and comfy. There is a casino right next door. It was far from the airport and beaches. Call the hotel to arrange a taxi to the airport, only $20. We took the airport shuttle, 40 min wait and $40.
Very clean, friendly staff, beautiful grounds, close to everything in Cancun Ac in room didn't really cool well
A small, very eco-conscious green oasis in the middle of downtown Cancun. Shower wasn't very warm .. but we were having torrential downpours that might have affected the system.
Really easy to get around. Real close to plaza Americas so that was convenient n/a
We loved the 2 beds-2 baths condo. Very luxurious and has everything needed for a family. TV with cable in every room. Fully furnished kitchen. Washer and dryer. Great views and wonderful swim pool and balcony. Free wifi. Very safe and secure. Maid service everyday.
Friendly staff, great location with easy reach from Central bus station and Avenida Tulum. Clean rooms sound isolation is a bit poor
The singers in lobby bar is excellent, the local singers' latin songs interacted with the audience, young and aged people were happy, the songs released the pressure of people daily life from. To a foreigner, it was very impressive these songs has a magic power to touch you, release you. Paul The breakfast in lobby restaurant is excellent, not expensive, but delicious.
Liked not being part of the tourist swarm at the larger hotels. If you want to be closer to the city and culture, this is the place.
The location is good, easy to airport, ADO, market... there is no hair dryer, the towels not that good.
