Very stressed and unfriendly employee at the pick up. A very friendly and relaxed employee at the drop off. The Hybrid car was unfortunately not fully charged.

Cons:

The Allianz insurance you can buy separately says Collision-Loss coverage, but the fine print says it doesn't cover collisions! I drove a very nervous 3 days for overpriced protection against storms and fires.

I had pre-ordered a Pegoet 208 but they only had electrical cars left. After nearly not reaching my destination (it was only 66% charged when picked it up) and no charging facilities at hotel or nearby, i returned the car the day after and switched to another company. I demanded full return of rental fee but they said i had to send an email. Still waiting to hear back….

Pros:

Quick service, no fuss. Got the car I expected.

Cons:

I did not like the fact that we had to clean the car before drop off. For the first time since we rented a car, we were warned that there was going to be hefty cleaning charges if the car was brought back dirty inside. We were stressed out about that so we stopped at a gas station before the return to vaccuum this inside. Not sure i would rent there agin because of that.

Pros:

Good mileage and handling.

Cons:

Could not figure out how to start it. The women in the AVIS office laughed at me when I told them I couldn't get it started. Had to learn how to put it into reverse on the fly. The trunk would not stay locked.

EV cars are so much more confortable. With the one pedal driving and free electricity from our villa, it is an amazing experience that was 3 times less expensive than à combustion engine.

Overall very good experience. The car we rented was new, clean and in a very good shape. Overall pick-up and drop-off were quick and easy. No problems at all.

I liked how quick and helpful was the person at the pick-up. But I was surprised about the price of insurance. Never have paid that amount of money for rental car insurance. And it was surprising that at the drop off I had to clean the interior of the car from the sea sands. There wasn't much of them, but I have never been asked to do car cleaning in that kind of level.
