When we went to pick up the car at the original booking location , they didn’t have any cars , after spending 2 hours on the phone we had to drive to the airport to pick up the car , wasting 3 hours and paying extra on airport taxes .

Despite getting there 5 minutes before opening time, i was made to wait about 10 minutes after opening only to be told that they did not have any cars for me. I am a Hertz Gold Rewards member. They were fully overbooked (15 reservations vs 4 cars) and I was told that I was bottom of the priority list as I was the last person to book a car. First time I have experienced something like this when renting a car (anywhere in the world !)

Hertz did not have the truck when I tried to pick it up. I have tried to contact them many times to get a refund but have not been able to talk to a person. Can you refund my money? Will never use Hertz again
