Pros: My room was very nice and had everything I needed for the week. I had a fully size fridge, microwave two desks and a separate room. It was nice to walk outside the hotel and be directly on the Riverwalk with great restaurants like Macy's, Ritas on the River and Iron Cactus just a few steps away. In the evening the hotel offers three free adult beverages with "snacks" but it could easily be a meal. We had chicken strips, salad, pasta and a baked potato available most evenings. The Air Force sends me here for training once a year and I look forward to staying at the Drury Plaza.,
Cons: My dresser was difficult to close, but it didn't bother me enough to report it until I checked out. No other complaints at all.

Pros: Free Breakfast, Free Coffee, Free Dinner (kickback)
Cons: The hotel was at FULL CAPACITY and completely booked and although I don't have a huge problem with this as it pertains to the pandemic, it does seem like the hotel is not designed (or managed well enough) to support a full capacity crowd.

Pros: Great breakfast, lovely bathroom, comfortable beds.
Cons: Very slow elevators. Unfortunately we were leaving the same time a large group from a convention was checking out and the 3 elevators could not keep up with the demand.

9.1
Pros: I was very surprised that not only did I get free breakfast with my stay but also free dinner (buffet) and 3 free happy-hour drinks each day! The staff was friendly (sometimes almost over-friendly), and the location was perfect. Highly recommend.
Cons: Room smelled like chlorine when I came in, and the water tasted heavily chlorinated. The room was a bit poorly lit, and the windowsill outside the room was consistently overrun with pigeons. Glasses as opposed to plastic cups would be preferred (for the environment), and a safe to lock up valuables would have been nice. (I prefer not to have to take my passport with me everywhere.)
Okay
5.4
Pros: Enjoyed the kickback and proximity to riverwalk.
Cons: they charged my card $482 dollars for parking when it was only supposed to be $46. Took them a week to refund the money and then they still charged me for the parking!! What a joke! Where is the coustomer service?

Pros: Staff was unprofessional. Check in was at 3, we got there at 7 and the room still wasnt ready. While we waited for 45 minutes we had to get dressed in the public restroom and my girlfriend had to straighten her hair in the hallway because there was no outlets in the restroom. After we finally got our room we had to rush to the spurs gsme that we had planned and ended up missing the first quarter all because of the staff at the hotel. We decided to switch hotels the next day. Other than that the hotel was really nice looking.

Pros: Bed was comfortable
Cons: Bed corners are very dangerous, I end up with bruises because bed woods expand from mattress and you can hit your legs easily unless you are very careful. I had the opportunity to talk to other guests and they complain about the same dangerous corners. Bathroom have to many gabs on counter and your personal products can fall while cleaning is happening and you will never find them. If your leave something you have to go to a website to file lost and found. That is very far from what is the main reason of hotels, customer service...... Very poor in that part. Most rooms the city view is the windows of the next building.

Pros: The location was the only thing good about the hotel. 5 min from the down town riverwalk
Cons: Do I have enough space. Let's see. First off the room looked nothing like any of the photos. The room was void of any color, decorations, furnishings or character. It was no where near a $200 a night room. From to moment you arrive you are on your own to unload your bags, drag them in the hotel and then hopefully find the lobby to check in. Which is on the second floor. Everything is expencive like you would expect but their is little to no staff to help you. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Pros: The lobby was lovely, the bar was nice, and the hotel was right on the Riverwalk.
Cons: Table lamp on the floor. Already opened $6 water bottle in the mini bar, expired food in the mini bar, windows only opened a few inches due to poor bench placement. No table for sitting, only a bed. I think this room was a poor representation of the hotel, but it needs to be addressed regardless!

Pros: We really appreciated the location of the hotel, it was really convenient in that sense, it was within walking distance to many attractions and restaurants. The staff was also really friendly.
Cons: Almost everything was perfect, but it would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room to store our own food and drinks. Also one of our beds was squeaky and that made it uncomfortable to sleep on so better beds would have been nice.

Pros: The location right on the riverwalk is excellent! Hotel is very nice and staff is very friendly! Would definitely stay again in the future.

Pros: Centrally located in Downtown, you are minutes from most sites and right on the scenic river walk. Nice and helpful staff will greet and assist you.
Cons: sound proofing. With construction across the street waking you up at 6:40 am, easily hearing the conversations of others in the hall ways and flushing of toilets, sleep was easily disrupted. shower tub and carpet had stains/not fully cleaned. bathroom fixture groves had visible dust collected. really small pool, not sure if its that i'm from Miami, Fl where there is many pools. its about the size of the elevator hallway and maybe 4 ft deep.

Pros: This bad experience had ever happened to me and my family before. I will never use again KAYAK again to book my reservations. Result, they have this "Getaroom" subsidiary with a poor description of their booking application, and it scammed you before you know the transaction has a nonrefundable policy until it is too late via your email confirmation. I called them, my credit card, agent, and the hotel. None of them were in the good customer satisfaction attitude to refund my money, cancel, or reschedule the booking transaction. Be aware of using them to book your reservation before it is too late. Anyone can make a mistake some time, but this Draculonian thirsty-blooded camming business does not care for you. Pray to Lord, this kind of business entities does not prosper any more in the traveler's economy.

Pros: Staff were very nice and helpful, for example, suggesting I park in the structure across the street for much less than the nightly on site parking charge, with no real lack of convenience. The location on the river was excellent--directly out the back door to River Walk. The sister property directly across the river, Mokara, has an excellent gym available to La Mansion guests. Very friendly staff at the bar with a reasonably priced, tasty, late night dinner.

Pros: Love the balconies over the river walk, historic character of the building and that it's pet friendly. Enjoyed listening to the church bells in the pool court yard (we were there on Easter Sunday morning).
Cons: Had to pay for wifi. Verizon cellular service barely worked in our room, cell & text functioned poorly, data did not work, so we did not have internet access during our stay.

Pros: Love the fact that from the time you pull in till the time you leave the staff takes all the stress out of your stay. Also love that you can walk right out the doors and your on the river walk.

Pros: Everything. Breakfast on the riverwalk, emaculate rooms, stylish old style bar with knowledgeable bar tender.

Pros: Being an Onmi hotel I had much higher expectations. It was very dark, although they wanted a certain style (not sure exactlybwhat it was, old, Mexican, historic) they didn't pull it off very well. The carpets were dirty and dull, the room was musty and very dark. The staff was very friendly, the location was prrfect, right in the heart of the fun, the bed was very comfortable and the towels were nice.

Cons: The bad news is that the hotel is right on the River Walk so you're right in the heart of the action. A lot of noise from the River tour boats and people, so if you're looking for quiet - this isn't the place.

Pros: Nice and clean hotel with very friendly staff. Centrally located so you can walk most places very quickly...or take a cheap Uber ride. Breakfast buffet was delicious!! We parked our car at valet but wasn't aware that it was $40/night. You might find cheaper options in one of the many parking garages close by. All and all...great place to stay!

Cons: I booked a room w/ 2 queens, but upon arrival was given a room with a king and queen sleeper sofa. The small refrigerator was locked. She said she would send me an email to get complimentary wifi and have a blanket sent up. The email never came and I went downstairs to request the blanket again. Cons: The only issue we had was parking. There were events going on Friday and Saturday night which made it hard to find parking. We searched the lot for almost and hour looking for parking and there wasn't any. I think that they should give a heads up to all guest so that if they decide to leave they can plan to be back later or sooner. We had spent an entire day at six flags and want to come back to relax but couldn't because there was literally no parking.

Pros: Really appreciated the cribs provided (we traveled with twins). Great touch on the bag and goodies for the kids. The pools were amazing, and the outdoor movie really added a nice touch.
Cons: Unfortunately the room we booked did not have a fridge to keep toddler necessities cold. We obviously booked a business room, evident by the available mini bar, instead of the themed family rooms, but it was still disappointing about finding this out until after checking in. Surprising considering all the kid-friendly advertisements, but did not take away from our experience.

Pros: Staff was above and beyond. Minor issues were addressed quickly and thoroughly. Serious issues did not come up at all. Staff continuously and proactively offered service, advice and support. Some good restaurants nearby, though shopping was limited. Hotel will drive you anywhere within 5 miles. 15 minutes from the airport (their shuttle) and a $15 Uber ride to downtown sites like the Riverwalk or the Alamo.
Cons: Room was a bit older and darker than we prefer, but comfortable and very quiet. Elevators were a temporary problem on Friday night but were fixed by Saturday morning.

Pros: The staff were very polite, the room was lovely and well-kept, the location was pretty good, especially for the price. My mom and I walked to the River Walk and other attractions without too much fatigue.
Cons: I wish they served free breakfast. The area was a little scary at night... the surrounding area is not well-lit, so I my mom and I felt a little vulnerable walking back from the city. No one approached us though.

Pros: Central Location: Beautiful 150 year old historic hotel, literally across the street from Alamo, Numerous attractions, Riverwalk Mall, Ripley's, Wax Museum, Guinness Records, etc.... Short trolley ride to Historic Market. We used it as base of operations. Bought all-day passes to attractions and walked back to hotel to cool off/swim when needed. Lots of food nearby too. Hotel staff gave great service too. Kids loved all the museum like stuff in the hotel. The bar has a mirror with a bullet hole next to it they say Teddy Roosevelt shot in it on a bet when he was there recruiting his rough riders. Been here several times. It is our 'go to' spot for San Antonio.
Cons: The parking is very expensive. Thirty dollars per day - but it is expensive in the entire city and you do have unlimited in and out privileges. The hotel is really old so it has a few rough edges. The pool tiling needs a bit of repair, some of the doors stick a bit, the elevators are small, floors are a little uneven and a bit sloped here and there, etc. It has a lot of "character", but I guess refurbishing an old hotel is like restoring an old car, you never quite manage to get all of the rattles out of it.

Pros: Historical, legendary hotel - also comfortably contemporary ... Plus, the staff at the front desk was polished and helpful. They made us feel they were serious about our enjoyment of the hotel.
Cons: Would have liked to have stayed another day to enjoy more of the amenities, such as the Menger Bar and its TR Rough Riders connection. Note: You really need a "none of the above" category for the second question on who was in your party -- none of those definitions fit. This was frustrating and I almost didn't write this review, but decided to submit it by checking "group of friends" even though it's wholly inadequate to describe my party, which was me, my sister, and mother, and my sister's boyfriend.

Pros: It’s a great place to stay: the location is great, the staff is very helpful and friendly, and I enjoyed the atmosphere of the place; I enjoyed just walking around and taking in the history! I contacted the hotel to inform them I’d be getting into the city earlier than expected, and when I arrived, before noon, my room was ready;, I was able to check in and enjoy San Antonio right away! The view was great; I requested a scenic view, and from my window I could see Alamo Plaza. It was a great stay. I liked this hotel a lot and will be back.

Pros: The historic portion of the hotel is beautiful! Rooms are small, full size bed... but very nice and very clean.

Pros: Much lovelier than the photos, friendly and right in the heart of the city. In-room coffee and free WiFi.

Pros: Beautiful hotel with charm and character. So close to everything and convenient for someone on foot/ for public transport/ for tours. Great pool. People working there were very nice - allowed late check out at 1:00pm.
Cons: A bit noisy at night - one night it was loud drunk tourists, once it was random construction at restaurant in mall next door, & once the fire alarms went off. I don't think it's the hotel's fault though.

Pros: The hotel's location can't be beat: a block away from the Alamo, a couple blocks away from the convention center, and right next to a shopping mall with a wide variety of restaurants and stores. The staff was very friendly.
Cons: The room worked for what I needed, but it could have been better. The bathroom was small and was, for some reason, built 6-8 inches higher than the rest of the room. You could hear everything through the walls.

Pros: I had reserved the rooms for adult children, spouses, their adult children who came for a family celebration. The all liked the Menger. They found staff to be helpful. For one of them, the room next to them had a noisy guest. The hotel moved my family members to another room where they had the quiet nights they needed. I was impressed by the ease with which that switch was accomplished. Parking staff was helpful in tending to my car when I came to meet & pick up family who stayed there.
Cons: There were no complaints from anyone

Pros: Great location. Wonderful customer service. Loved the valet service.
Cons: Needs a little updating. Understand the historical aspect to the hotel, but still. Not sure if the heater wasn't working, but our room was freezing. Attempted to higher the temp, but to no avail. Didn't want to but front desk at 2am.

Pros: If you want a little history stay, this place is it. This place is great old school hotel with the oldest bar in town. Has a nice pool and inner garden to chill. Nice helpful staff Rooms were clean and large. The shower could have stronger flow and pool service coming around a bit (there is a phone to place order) but that is not a big deal. Location is perfect - Riverwalk starts right here and Alamo is a cross the street
Cons: Can't open windows in the room (the old bulding) Shower has weak water flow

Pros: I stay here often and I have tried other places it's so luxurious for the money and the location is in the middle of everything!

4.8
Pros: It's really close to the Alamo and shopping. It is historical.
Cons: The hotel's rooms were dated. The carpet seemed old or cheap. Twin beds? Really? And we were so far from the elevator. It literally took over a minute just to walk to the elevator from our room. It was hot on the 5th floor. They had to bring us a fan because we couldnt get the room below 78 degrees and the staff didn't really seem to care that much about it.
"Located in Downtown San Antonio, this romantic hotel is steps away from San Antonio Cavalry Museum, Alamo Mission in San Antonio and Guinness World Records Museum. Ripley's Haunted Adventure and River Walk are also within 5 minutes. San Antonio Station is 18 minutes by foot. "

Pros: The view from the room was fantastic! The location is also great!
Cons: The room felt like it needed to be steam cleaned with bleach... The room appeared to be updated sometime in the early 2000. But has not been maintained well. The bed was as hard as the floor. The shower head was loose and the bathroom smelled of old urine. We ordered Breakfast to our room the first morning. The breakfast was good and when we where ready to leave for the day I called to let the staff know so they could come up and clean our room. We where gone the entire day and come back to the same mess we left that morning... At 250 a night plus 30 a night valet parking This should have never happened. That night I went to drink a water bottle the staff provides for you in the room and there was no seal on the lid on either bottle. The cleaning person didn't even bother to change our water bottles. just filled them up with tap water and called it a day. If you are looking for a clean room with basic hotel services I would look past this place!!

Pros: The location was great. Short walk to the convention center, riverwalk, alamo. The staff was also very friendly and nice.
Cons: The building is old and the rooms show it. My first night there was a some fan, or machinery noise that made it impossible to sleep. I was able to switch rooms that night which was nice. One morning I had no hot water. The staff listened, but didn't seem concerned about it. I only had one breakfast at the hotel restaurant, but it was quite underwhelming and definitely not worth paying for.

Pros: Great location. Comfortable view.
Cons: Parking was difficult. I wish the stay came with parking instead of having to use valet. I had to pay for valet and to park right outside each day as I have to have quick access to my car. Although it was a nice hotel, I won't be staying here again.

Pros: The staff were very nice and professional, from our morning check-in after travelling overnight, to our check out. Greatly appreciated. The location right on the Riverwalk is great with a short 5 to 10 minute walk around to the restaurants and bars.
Cons: Finding a partially drunk drink bottle in the mini fridge is not what should happen during these Covid 19 times. I brought it up and they offered to take care of it right away. The riverside view room is not worth it as it overlooks the back of other buildings with loud constant air conditioning units. Pros: Beautiful hotel friendly staff and in my opinion worth every penny

Pros: The suite was great - nice sitting area, spacious bathroom, good bedroom and everything worked perfectly. The hotel's location is directly on a loop of the riverwalk which is good because it puts you right into the attraction, but is not on the main section so it's much quieter and easier to find a dining place. Parking is available across the street from the hotel and the street itself is not as busy as those nearer the Alamo.
Cons: Parking at the hotel is a ridiculous $36/night and they charged for two parking spots for our two motorcycles even though we actually had both bikes consolidated out of the way in the valet area not even in the parking garage. That was irritating. The hotel staff were polite but very cold and decidedly unfriendly. Don't believe I did anything to be offensive or difficult - I didn't even argue about the parking issue - but all of the desk staff (two in the evening, one in the morning) gave the impression they had much better things to do than speak with me.

Pros: Made a special stop at the river walk on our five day trek from Pittsburgh to puerto Vallarta Mexico. Stopped to enjoy the beautiful view and exeperience the river walk. The resort was absolutely gorgeous. Unique with design, very friendly conceierge, and beautiful room layout.
Cons: Our one and only critique, and rather silly at that, after pulling in with our vehicle and stopping at the front valet, the attendant seemed almost shocked when we said, yes we would like you to park the car, and replied with an almost doubtful "are you sure? Wouldn't you like to hear the prices?" Though I'm sure he was just trying to do his job and avoid later frustration, the tone in which he asked us the question was borderline offensive. Young man if we can afford to stay where we are staying we certainly assure you we can afford to park.

Cons: Hotel desk staff were business friendly, but it did not feel genuine. Which is the opposite of everyone else we met in San Antonio. This was one of the friendliest cities we've encountered!! Cons: Although the city is tourist friendly, we did got lost. Also, the Hotel Contessa needs to hire more people on their housekeeping staff. During our stay, housekeeping forgot to clean our room one day. Other than that, things were great.

Can't even pay cash for smores..must charge to a credit card?? smores should be provided FREE staff was not concerned or urgent about anything!!

Pros: The hotel is quite nice and the rooms are really good. Is located in a easy to get location and near a lot of POI.
Cons: The staff is the worst I have seen in my life. Housekeeping didn't leave towels in the room and not only one day but several days and more than 1 room that my family had for our stay, I told these to the people on the reception but I don't know if they didn't do anything or the housekeeping didn't understand. The firt day we had breakfast at the hotel but since it was so slow and bad the rest of the days we decided to go out. Even the bar was lame and closed like 9 pm. I think the rooms and the hotel is good but has the worst manager I have seen in mi life.

Pros: The amenities of this well laid out hotel were everything that I would have expected from a Hilton spa and hotel. From the fire pit seating areas and heated pools to the decor and spacious rooms, I very much enjoyed the hotel itself.
Cons: First. We arrived at almost 1pm to find that we were not able to check in. No rooms were ready. Next. The staff. It seemed that there were as many trainees as there were experienced staff (not very many of either). At the bar restaurant, there was only one experienced server. She was great and did the best with what she had. However, she couldn't keep up with everyone in the restaurant and train a new person, too. It took a very long time to get our food (some good, some not good) and drinks and there wasn't more than 20 people in the restaurant. I can only imagine how understaffed the kitchen was as well (we were there for about 2.5 hours). The breakfast restaurant seemed to suffer from the same lack of trained, attentive staff. The housekeeping staff were noisy and yelled down the hall to each other in the morning. Not professional at all.

Pros: Location was perfect, great service and food. Also had a great kids pool which the kids did enjoy.

Pros: The bedding was comfortable.
Cons: The phone was broken, the alarm clock was broken, no note pad, no flyers on the hotel like most Hilton’s have. We weren’t offered a map and on the last day checking out we saw nice colored maps on the counter which would have been very helpful, the drains in the sink were slow draining, they charged an outrageous amount for parking when they have a huge lot, no continental breakfast like most Hilton’s, and the overall quality was not up to par for other Hilton’s that we stay at and my husband is a Hilton rewards member and stays quite often with Hilton for business. I felt like we received poor service because I booked with a third party.

Pros: Over all rooms were nice.
Cons: No coffee in the lobby. House keeping knocked on the door to come clean while we were getting ready. We told them we weren't quite ready. They never came back. After we returned that evening, the beds were not made and the dirty towels were still on the floor.

Cons: We were told that a movie was going to be played but not that night and nobody knew why. Everyone kept saying that they were working on it and nothing was ever set up so the movie never played.

Pros: I was in San Antonio due to my mother being hospitalized. I had been at her bedside all week and my family came for the weekend. I needed to relax and get some rest. Casey front desk reception was very kind and went out her way to make our stay wonderful. Walking thebeautiful grounds and being poolside was very relaxing. We always stay at Marriott hotelservices but definitely choose Hilton in our future stays.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.

Pros: I liked the fact that it was clean, close to where I was traveling and reasonable.
Cons: I booked the executive floor hoping that there would be no kids in the lounge while I was working. That wasn't the case.

Pros: Great location in a less touristy part of town. Near university and other popular destinations. Room was large and comfortable. Quiet at night.
Cons: Came in and evening person was looking at his computer, not wanting to interrupt, I waited patiently until I noticed him looking at me as if I were out of place, followed by, "Yes?" Thinking his humor might be a tad dry I let it go until I had another less than pleasant interaction with him later abut parking, then I realized he needed to consider a career outside of the hospitality industry. I wonder if his mom got him this job. Anyway, between that and an unwashed glass in my room I think some corners are being cut.

Pros: I was in San Antonio for a conference, but my husband and 4 yr old tagged along for some fun family time as well. I appreciated the computers and printer for guest use and the early cafe breakfast options as well as, how accommodating they were for families. I was a little disappointed when we first arrived because our room didn't look anything like the photos and I was admittedly excited about the charm of the pictures advertised. We got over it though once we saw how roomy it was and all the nice amenities like the keurig, etc. Despite how roomy and comfortable the bed was, we inquired about a cot for our daughter to sleep on since the room was def. large enough to accommodate one. They immediately rolled down a large plush bed for her already made up, she thought it was the greatest thing ever! We also found ourselves needing bandaids or batteries for our personal things and they provided everything we asked for on the spot at the front counter. That was huge!! We were blown away by their hospitality. I was also surprised that most of the days my husband told me to go ahead and take the car because they wouldnt even need it. They could go swimming, eat lunch at the bistro, and hop on the river taxi right out back if they wanted to go somewhere. Needless to say this will be our go-to spot anytime we're in SA.

Pros: I loved the seclusion and privacy. Hotel was on the river walk but on the quiet tranquil side and yet only 10 minutes away from river enter mall. Richard and Darlene at the restaurant and bar were so kind to us. My wife really enjoyed her birthday weekend. Would definitely stay here again.
Cons: When checking in we were given a non smoking policy to sign and told we could not smoke on the premises. I asked her if we could smoke outside the hotel or on our balcony, and she again repeated "not on the premises" well as we went onto the balcony there was an ash tray on the outside table and also noticed guests down below smoking. As we headed outside by the pool I again noticed ash trays throughout the exterior of the hotel. I asked another employee by the name of Richard if we could smoke outside the hotel and he said absolutely and brought us an ashtray.

Pros: The hotel was very nice in my opinion I stayed on a friday night and the trip was for me and my girlfriend for a weekend getaway... We booked a King Size bed for the both of us and the room was very nice. We spent te majority of our time outside of the hotel exploring the city but what time we did spend there was enjoyed by my G/F as well as myself... The staff was nice and friendly, the hotel was nice never saw trash landscaping was up to date everything was nice I dont have any complaints. Although in pictures it may look as if it is on the river walk, it isnt unfortunately but to me that wasnt a problem, the river is only about 5 blocks down the road and it took about 4 minutes to get there via car. All in all id say this is a really nice hotel that I would more than love to come back too. Or stay at other Hotel Indigo's in other coties.
Cons: I didnt hve any dislikes room was adequately priced for the location and services that were provided... Modern and up to daye as well.

Pros: Hotel staff was very knowledgable about restaurants and the Riverwalk. Rooms were large and definitely worth the money. Whether a couple or family on vacation, this is where you need to stay. Location is excellent and service is nothing short of 5 star

Pros: Bed was ok. Did not eat breakfast there. My room had a floor that kept making creaking noise walking over an area towards the closet. I think the floor panels were warped and causing the noise. I also struggled with every day my door card to open the door was not working. I had to come back to the front desk Friday and Saturday to get my cards fixed and I had a lot of bags that I was carrying so I was frustrated.
Cons: frustrated with the keys situation and the room floors. I feel that I always picked this hotel specifically because I use to see the value and care but I haven't felt that the last two recent stays so I will probably not return to this hotel anymore. I use to love the small quaint place that took my concerns seriously but now don't feel the same so I need to find another quaint place that will take care of me better.

Pros: staff was friendly and always helpful. rooms were excellent, clean, bright. plenty of parking. beds were soft, pillows were awesome. elevators were fast. check in and check out was easy. the best thing about this hotel is the friendly staff.
Cons: just very minor details: the tv remote buttons were either worn or the battery was dead, difficult to change channels. and the printed channel guide was so small you need reading glasses to read it. in my room there was no bathtub, only a standing shower, but it was sufficient. no microwave, which was kind of a downer.

Pros: Very easy check in, The hotel was beautiful and CLEAN!! The location was good walking distance to everything but not too close so it was very peaceful. It was right on the river so we just walked up the river until we came to the restraunts. The walk was nice with beautiful scenery!!
Cons: I don't have a complaint.

Pros: The man at the desk at night. I think his name was Robert. He was amazing! Just the best guest service I've ever had.
Cons: Maid said she was out of big towels and would bring some bank later. She never did so I had to go get them. We dropped something and had to look for it. Discovering underneath the beds (which were a bit too saggy) were filthy.

Pros: Hotel was very nice and clean. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfy. Stayed here for 2 days and we were very happy. You can buy breakfast vouchers for 8-10 dollars and eat in the restaurant which had good food. The staff was also very friendly. Really nice deck area in the back with a smaller pool.
Cons: The hotel is far away from where the heart of the river walk is. It was super hot when we were there so walking far wasn't very fun.

Pros: The room was clean. Coffe maker was in the room, though missing the part that holds the filter. They were able to get me a part quickly.
Cons: I know I am travelling during the pandemic, but this hotel had the least of all that I have stayed at, all Marriott brands. One towel in the room. I had to ask for a hand towel and wash cloth. The front doors were always locked and you had to use your key to enter, probably because only one staff member on duty. The room had a light out in the shower and the TP holder was about to come off the wall. No grab and go bags, no food, no pool or workout facilities, no shuttle service. One set of the double slide fron doors barely opened to let me and my bags through. This did get fixed the last day. The hall on the top floor carpets where filthy, with streaks of something spilt. On my last day they had a rental carpet cleaner by one of the staff members come and clean the floor. However, it didn't make much difference because the carpet was still dirty looking after they left. After talking to another guy staying at another brand, the management at this location needs to step up to make the stay better.

Pros: Different atmosphere versus other hotel brands. Good bargain price per quality.
Cons: My cc was charged twice and the only way I noticed was because I was bored and checked my bank statements. I understand this to be a mistake but a mistake that is very inconvenient for me. Now I will make it a habit to double check any charges to my card in the future, I plan to continue doing business with Marriott.
