Chic... and some
It was boutique chic, dark and sexy... room was just what was needed, warm, looked clean what was white was white... anything black like the shower and grout was black- as far as location, you can’t beat (we had breakfast across the street with huge buffet selection) went back to grab lunch on 1 of the days, grab a drink and appetizers at the pub, across the street... walk to shopping, movies, theater, food, you name it
Bed was not comfortable, room was warm on a weekend of 3 degrees but the heat kicked on every 15/20 minutes and it was sooo loud it drowned out the city noise... the sirens (fire, police, ambulance), car horns (fire, police, ambulance, car traffic), 3/4am delivery trucks (who are working hard by dropping ramps and ponding boxes and crates, communicating to each other by shouting), and because you are VERY close to Times Square you could hear happy and angry people... and because it’s close quarters, you can hear every door, argument, and conversation from the hall. WiFi was SLOW
It was conveniently located for everything we want
Hotel was clean, staff was very friendly and the design of the hotel was romantic.
I wish I had known the rooms were as small as they were. I would definitely come again but this time I would be prepared for the size of the room.
quirky and that is good
Great location, great mood, great little bar, friendly staff. Nice rooms small but great interior design, like the dark romanticness of the floors, like that they have a shower and not a bathtub
Most of the switches in the room no longer work, hallways lights burned out. slow elevator
Great hotel - great value
The decor was great. The furniture was great. The room was average size for NYC. The mattress was comfortable. The staff pleasant.
The bed, while wide like a king, felt short. I'm around 5'10" and sleep with my arms above my head (don't judge). Normally it is fine but I found my feet encountering the foot board frequently. It's a very small complaint. I'd happily go back to the hotel. Second complaint is Times Square. Nothing you can do. I'd still go back.
The Staff is friendly
The staff was very friendly Convenient location
The room needed maintenance
Cozy and comfortable room!
Our room had the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on! Barely any traffic noise at night -- even though the hotel is basically in Times Square!
Chic friendly Fun Hotel ...
The bed was wonderful so comfy with soft down pillows and quilt ....the place is dark and exciting the food and drinks were outstanding plus they even gave us two free drinks ! Location is perfect near times square and still quiet ....We will be going back to stay here again soon we just loved it so much ! Clean and fresh inside as well :)
Atmosphere, location , 12 noon checkout
Great location...good size rooms, Staff were always pleasant and helpful! sushi was excellent...
Parking difficult if after midnight
Comfy beds no noise close to the action
Dark, gothic atmosphere in the heart of Times Squa
As a mature person traveling with family, both Kayak and the Night Hotel did not fulfill my expectations. Despite such disappointment, I have to admit that the location is the best feature. Right across the street from Lyceum Theater and steps away from other venues, it brings a sense of proximity for tourists.
Originally, Kayak advertised this hotel differently as the pictures shown did not math the decor shown in the hotel. The dark lobby doesn't give the welcoming atmosphere and ambiance you expect as an out of town visitor. The overall darkness of the hotel can look a little unfriendly. Although staff was accommodating to my needs, it took me 3 attempts to get a roll bed inside the room. Incidental charges were way high.
It was alright.
The room was okay. The staff was very helpful.
My room made weird noises. I got a deal on kayak and spent a night there for just $100. I usually stay at the Yotel hotel but wanted to try something different but it was a horrible experience. I didnt sleep at all, the manager wasn't there but they front desk told us we would get a refund or something for our horrible night but the manager was rude, No help or feelings whats so ever. She gave us a late check out and we still left at 11. NEVER AGAIN. Dissapointed in the stay. Could of been better even if the deal was cheap.
Stay in intimate accommodations mere moments from the Theater District, Bryant Park and all the best dining and nightlife New York City has to offer. Night Hotel serves as a dark, provocative escape from the bright lights of Times Square, providing ample in-room amenities, a sleek bar and areas for exclusive events.
