Your website would not distinguish between a 1 Way Rental, and a Return Rental. Why wouldn't your website just STATE THAT THEY DON'T HAVE 1 WAY RENTALS... Instead of reverting back to a Return Rental ? I had to pay a Lyft driver $50, then had to pay your competitor TWICE what I had confirmed on your website. SO, DO YOU THINK I'LL EVER USE YOUR SITE AGAIN ???

The staff was helpful and pick up/drop off was easy. However, we reserved a small car and ended up with an extra cab pick up truck. I would have much preferred the vehicle I reserved. I do not usually drive a truck and navigating a large vehicle in a new city was not pleasant.

Never got to use rental car. The worst experience I have ever had with a rental car company. Waited in line for over 2 hours and would have been another 2 hours to get near the front. I am 8 months pregnant and can’t wait in line for 4 hours. Avis and other companies under the same umbrella had NO line but refused to help despite my pleas. They wouldn’t even let me cancel my reservation and make a new one. Had to go to a competing company (Dollar) and rent a second car. Dollar took care of me in 10 minutes.

I like the price; however, when we went to the checkin counter, we found the service to be very slow. There were only two employees to handle a line up of customers so we waited in line longer than we would have liked. When we actually made it to the front of the line, the agent did a great job.

When I got my final receipt they charged me for a fill up @ 10.99 per gallon and I returned it full. Then trying to get the charges reversed was a nightmare, they said thy reversed charges so we will see how that goes.

Great experience. The mobile check-in option was very simple and the Hertz rental counter being right inside the airport is super convenient. Picked up our truck quickly and easily. Drop-off was equally simple with a short, covered walk into the airport which was nice since it was pouring and we were traveling with our toddler. Will definitely rent from here next time we come to Nashville.

I paid for the rental ahead of time, and was then charged an extra fee to pick the vehicle up. Nowhere was an additional fee mentioned. This is the 3rd satisfaction survey that I've filled out saying the same thing, and rather than reach out and try to fix things, y'all just send more surveys.

Bad experience with Hertz pick up. I reserved and paid up front so we could just go to the car and skip the counter. Trudged the length of the garage, stowed luggage and then couldn’t start the car because the key fob was dead. Unloaded and Walked all the way back to a kiosk in 90 degree heat. Waited a half hour for the CSR to get done talking to another employee while ignoring customers. Finally was assigned another car, no apologies or upgrade and we left a half hour beyond our pickup time. Terrible.

Car was given to us dirty and then once it rained, it turned muddy. We had to pull off the highway and clean all the windows in order to see out clearly. The inside needed to be vacuumed and there were no floor mats.

I made a reservation specifically for a Ford Transit passenger van and Dollar Car Rental tried to give me a Honda Odyssey mini van, which does not have nearly enough space as we needed. So I cancelled the reservation and went with a different rental company who had the vehicle I needed and also ended up spending less money.

The minivan was not as clean as it should have been inside. Obvious surfaces were clean, but the parcel trays and such (it was a minivan) had old chunks of food, crumbs, etc. still there uncleaned. Overall the van was in good condition and comfortable, and was the best value available for what we needed.

Drop off. They lined up cars in one lane instead of left tight center. This added 200 yards to our walk to the terminal. The distance to the terminal was already long in high heat. The extra distance was totally unnecessary. All else was good.

The first car had drugs, some white powder substance. I only found one individual baggie but that was enough. It took a while to get exchanged. I did get another SUV and got it home to realize the key fob was slowly dying. Over the course of four days, it got to the point where I couldn’t lock or unlock the vehicle and it wouldn’t recognize the key fob while driving. I had to exchange it. I take it an hour back to the airport. They try to put another battery in it and that doesn’t work. So it’s something computer related with the fob. They say, “No problem, we will exchange it.” Great! I got another vehicle and it worked out. However, when I turned in the final vehicle I got a bill for a transfer fee and a few other fees I already paid with the original purchase. The problems here are, the drugs cost me a lot of time and they weren’t even going to compensate me at all. They ended up just giving me a voucher. The key fob issue was a huge inconvenience because I was going camping so I got the car very early so I could pack based on the vehicle I got. I did that. I packed everything. I was ready to go and couldn’t lock or unlock the car. I can’t go on a camping trip with something like that! It’s not safe or reasonable. It delayed my trip by about five hours. I had to unpack the SUV and repack it, with no help from the rental car company. The worst part was they charged me for a transfer but not until I returned the final vehicle.

The car was from Florida, the tires have +42K miles on them, Kentucky get lots of rain, the low tread depth is not adequate in moderate to heavy rainfall (hydroplaning). Ok for more miles in climate area like Arizona. I have lots of driving experience with various tires in extreme weather conditions these type of tires are not safe for this climate region in the fall.

I was a little concerned renting from a company that is fairly unknown but it turned out to be a great choice! The car was almost brand new and the whole process was simple and easy. Their website was a little difficult to maneuver because I kept getting the information in a different language. I ended up calling a very nice gentleman to change my pickup time and he took care of it all within a couple of minutes!! When we returned the car, there was a very nice young man that made that process a breeze! I would definitely recommend this company because it did seem to be a little cheaper and everyone that I met was very nice and helpful!

HUGE FAIL Worst experience ever. The desk agent at BNA did not properly advise me on the time it would take to charge the car, knowing full well I was doing a point to point reservation. Sometime during the first night the car was parked, I lost over 100 miles in range leaving me a sitting duck in a very rural location. Instead of enjoying my time on my vacation, I wasted hours looking for charging stations and wasting energy on stress due to range anxiety. I should have been advised about the length of time it would take to charge the car from near empty to fill enough to complete my journey. The cord going to a 110 outlet would take 59 hours to charge (!). It took 9 hours on the charging station that I finally found. It was in the back of a a very dark parking lot. Not safe. Not fun. This charging need became my #1 priority this trip INSTEAD of spending precious time with my daughter. There was more time spent informing me that should not wash the EV than on providing sound advice on taking care of the car so it was ready for its job. This rental was a disaster and you should not rent EVs to point to point customers. Be like Hertz and sell the fleet. FAIL

The final invoice was more than 30% higher than the original quote due to all kinds of BS charges. The person at the AVIS desk was excellent and very helpful to all customers. Unfortunately, he was the only one at the desk and it took more than 30 minutes waiting in line. No more Avis for me if I can avoid them.

Be Honest. And also assign the car that had been reserved or tell me why not. Pickup lot was.too far from the desk to go back for a correction. Plenty of cars were in the lot with no one attending it for me to talk to.

The person who processed my rental upon my arrival in Nashville, was very rude, humiliating and treated me and family as if he was better than us. This was my first time renting a car from Avis, and my experience was obnoxious. I would never ever rent from your company again, because I normally rent from Enterprise where am treated with respect and dignity!!! Your company need to train your workers to treat people with respect and dignity, no matter your race, religion or ethnics!!!

Teach your workers to have respect to human, no matter what race you are.... we are all humans!!!

1. The line to redeem my rental voucher at the rental car desk was sooooo long. There was only 1 person working it, which later became 2. But the line was 30 people. None of the other rental companies had a long line. Just this one. 2. The license plate tag was ripped. 3. Overall it just felt like there was not enough attention paid to the customer experience. Lots of attention to keeping it a lean cost center... but def understaffed.

It took four cars until we could find one that wasn’t broken down flat tire wrong number broken lights so on. Worst car rental ever.

It took so long waiting in line to get to the counter. I had to reschedule the plans that I made for my brothers bachelor party. It ruined the whole day. I waited for an hour and a half just to be able to get to the line to rent the car. Maybe there are more people needed at the front desk during times of high demand. The car was nice. It wasn’t super clean. The windows were dirty and it smelled like someone had smoked in it before. Other than that it was a good experience.

Cons:

The pickup was a pain. There were no signs telling me where to find the Payless counter. The car shakes at highway speeds (I assume wheel balancing is needed) and 2 of the tires were at 22 PSI, SO I had to put air in them once I got it
