The location and the use of the executive lounge Paying extra for internet in an executive room
room and location were excellent Staff in the bar were poor. very slow and not attentive. Left to go to a bar outside the hotel as a result.
nice location friendly staff one thing i didnt know adout the room before hand ,it had a door linking up to another room this meant you could hear people talking quiet clearly in the early morning when we stay again we will look for a room that dont have this link up door otherwise we could have no fault with the hotel it was excellent will stay again
Rooms ready when we arrived. Reception and bar staff very helpful.
Venue, food, atmosphere is electric
Central with good adjacent facilities Room poorly cleaned
Great location, new modern business hotel Management need to take responsibility for training staff properly. This needs to come from the top and filter down. Tea and coffee being slammed onto the breakfast table is not acceptable nor is a poorly trained bartender who knows nothing about the area he is working on. With a few adjustments things could run much slicker.
Location was great and the breakfast was really nice. The food in the restaurant was also very good. The air conditioning was a bit weak. It was cold when we were in Liverpool and it took about an hour for the airco to warm the room up.
Thought the hotel was fantastic - great view, lovely room, great bar, great breakfast and good ambience. No radio or music in room v disappointing. The staff member on duty when we checked out wouldn't believe us when we said we had only had two drinks other peoples drinks had managed to get onto our bill. We were left waiting for a long time while she tried to sort this out and then we received no apology when she realised she was in the wrong!!!! Very poor customer service.
It was brand new and very well situated for shopping and nightlife in the City I think it is a misguided strategy to charge for bottled water in the room-this seems a small point but it is the only hotel I have been to that does not provide it free of charge.
Location, clean Lack of character
the rooms were very clean no
central location, easy parking.
The room was very basic, and for some reason although there was only two of us, they had made another camp bed type thing up, which took up a lot of room, leaving very limited space to move around the room when getting ready for our evening out!
we went to a concert at the echo arena and this hotel could not have been more covienient the pillows weren't very compfortable
we thought the hotel was great and staff really helpful and pleasant and would definatley stay again. and recommend to others,
The bar and restaurant areas were lovely and the service was excellent.
New hotel, ideal location (near the dock etc), nice and comfy rooms There were some teething problems with a new hotel. The fire alarms went off in the middle of the night twice on our 1st night. On 2nd night, no hot water. it was disappointing that the staff in the hotel wasn't able to tell us how long it would take to fix the problem.
i had a very enjoyable stay here great location great service and great value
All the staff were very helpful and welcoming No food (even sandwiches) available after 10.00pm. At the bar, plenty of alcohol available, but the coffee/hot chocolate machine was switched off at 10.00pm. No choice of teas in the room.
The hotel offered a good allround service and was excelent for our stay. I coundnt fault the hotel
Comfortable bed and the pub next door! (The Baltic Fleet) Room was on topfloor and close to lift shaft - too noisy. Also, inadequate breakfast facilities...side plates in lieu of dinner plates and not sufficient space to accommodate the number of guests - you end up eating breakfast practically in the reception area.
central location close to the shops and the albert docks with very helpful staff.very modern bedrooms and bathrooms . very busy breakfast area
lovely hotel no faults with rooms or staff , plesent and helpful,, lifts where bit crazy , could end up on any floor after pressing for the floor you had asked for, front door couldnt get out with a pushchair tight squeeze, only for having my partner with me wouldnt of got out at al as you need someone to carry on pushing the door around,
Its new and modern We asked for a wake up call - didnt get it. We also asked previous evening to book taxi for 4.45am as we had an early flight. We ended up having to get the night porter to ring a taxi at 5.00am. for us.
An very good two day, first stay, we will stay again when in Liverpool. None
Staff very helpful. The parking facility was secure but at the moment a bit awkward to drive in and out of because of ongoing building alterations.
Very well kept hotel, and staff were generally nice. On check in they wanted to take credit card and take money from it, I usually pay on check out and we wanted to pay cash as we have no credit card. The manager was unwilling to help us at all and wouldnt take deposit or anything and insisted we get credeit card from somewhere or we couldnt stay! I thought was outrageous and prejudice against people who dont have credit cards we had used a prepay to book hotel. In the end we had to get our friends credit details just to secure the room and then pay on check out. I found this very inconvienent and embarrassing to be treated like that!!
Modern. Friendly staff. Bit far away from "civilisation", not the nicest of walks to the hotel.
Good location. Excellant value for money. Didn't like using the entry key in the lift. It didn't always stop at the correct floor
Very nice room. Small but nice Every room also has a sofa bed so will be good for families Neat crisp bathroom Very business like but also suitable for families Nice small basic gym Convenient walk to the waterfront (max 7-10 mins) Car park charges £12 per night. Any extension beyond checkout costs £5 Breakfast is basic yet sufficient . Don't expect a Hilton type buffet No fridge in rooms
Superb Location! Nice modern apartments You have to give a deposit of £150 upon arrival which we had not been made aware of. We gave this in cash. When checking out a staff member had to check our apartment. She came down and told us that the towels were dirty and that we had been smoking in the apartment. We were not smoking in the apartment at any stage!. We were very frustrated and let down by this accusation as we had used the lovely smoking area which was 10 feet away from our apartment each time we wanted a cigarette. There had been cigarette ash left in the corner of the window sill which was not ours and must have been left there by the people previously staying there. It took 20 minutes to get the message across and we felt like we were being made a spectacle of because we were young. It seemed to us to be a way of making cash out of us. Eventually we were giving back £100 and £59 was kept to wash our towels! (Which had been provided for us by the way.) My advice if you are ataying here would be to check all areas for mess or dirt that has not been cleaned properly and inform reception A.S.A.p and bring your own towels. I am really disappointed with how we were treated and I wouldnt recommend staying here if you are a young group of people as they will try to make money out of you.
loved these apartments. Couldnt be more central and had everything we needed. We booked a 2 bedroom apartment and got a 3 bed apartment really comfie and so clean. Will deffo book again.
The apartments are very comfortable and very clean! Also they are in a brilliant location, right on the main shopping street. Upon our arrival we were hit with a £500.00 'deposit' in case anything happened to the rooms.Young girls wouldnt have this type of money. The hotel staff were not very helpful with this! It was not stated on our reservation confirmation that we had to pay a deposit, the hotel said that was Booking.com's fault so I think you should update this!
how central and every thimg available tv toaster fridge just beautiful apartments i will defo b back and have raved to friends that they should use your apartments. enjoyed my whole stay
The convenience to all sight seeing and city centre shopping We were not impressed that the door lock failed and we had to be locked in from outside. We assured ourselves we could open from the inside but it actually took 10 mins of rough handling to open the door in the morning. The phones had no signal and so we could not contact reception. I'm afraid we would have to reconsider a stay at this hotel especially with children. I'm still waiting for a phone call with an apology which I was told I would get Monday and it is now Wednesday!!!.
Superb Location Clean Everything we needed was provided
Location is amazing if you are a shopper as it is right in the heart of the shopping district. You can fall out the front door right into the shops. Despite this close proximity to the shopping area of Liverpool One it is surprisingly quiet inside the apartment. Also it wasn't far from the train station about 10min walk so it was perfect. Fyi: the recepetion is on the first floor and they are open 24hrs and they are very helpful. I am telling you this as its not clear on the booking form confirmation or on the web pages and it confused me. Happy shopping!
Great location, very well designed, lots of space in the living area and rooms were very cosy and they both had tvs in them. Close to all the shops...liverpool one shopping centre just on the door step. Taxi and buses just seconds away, cinema footsteps away. close to everything really. We really enjoyed or stay and would go bk again for def.
its proximity to the city centre and the shopping areas Layout of living area, length of entrance hallway
Modern self contained facilities in a excellent city centre location, with friendly and helpful reception staff. Badly adjusted door closers to apartment/corridor doors, resulting in late evening/early morning disturbance.Effective maintenance could vastly improve the guest experience in this respect,as otherwise noise between apartments was not a problem.Car park location could be better explained in,say, the booking confirmation.Had to park in an alternative car park on first night.
it was in a good location, very comfortable, clean and very friendly and helpful staff n/a
i liked the lady at reception she was so friendly, and the desighn of the room lovely people on the top deck of the bus could see in our room
Apartment was very well laid out and comfortable, staff were there when needed. A lot of building work taking place, even on Saturdays & Sundays work started around 08:00am
The apartment was lovely. It was central to the shop, dock , nightlife and lime street train station. The apartment was not what I thought it would be. There was only one bathroom suite between the 2 bedrooms so a long wait to use the shower etc between 4. There was a downstairs toilet though. I thought it would be all on one floor. Some of the fittings where loose.
As a hotel manager of a 4 star hotel & bringing my family of 4 I was suitably impressed. Quality was better than most 5 star suites and every detail thought of. If you want designer living in the city centre with excellent service and ease of use I reconmend this establishment. Will use again 10 out of 10. Not a dislike, just be aware building work is taking place by the building and although not a problem their is a lot going on.
From start to finish it was a fantastic experience. Great location, near everything you need for a weekend away. Right beside Liverpool One shopping area, short stroll from Lime Street station and Paradise Street bus station. 3 fantastic restaurants across the street from apartments, Concert Square and the Harry Street area close by.
Being a new apartment block the Casartelli was in excellent condition and finished to a very high sandard. It is very central to shopping, bars and restaurants. Staff that we meet were very helpful and friendly Only point would be which has nothing to do with the hotel was the construction work that started across the road everyday of our stay started from 6 a.m
Posh Pads certainly lives upto it's name. Fantastic apartment with luxury fittings. When I received my confirmation of booking, it stated 2 x twin rooms. When making a phone call to the apartments the day before arrival, we were informed that our apartment would be 2 x double beds. This was upsetting, when I had spent several days on the internet trying to get twin rooms for us 4 girls.
The facilities in the apartment were fantastic and the decor great. I will definately stay again and the staff were so friendly. The noise from the road was a little nosiy but otherwise excellent facilities. The road outside was a little noisy
While staff were professional and helpful i still had privacy and a comfortable stay.
to say its rated two star its very good value for a city centre hotel, friendly, clean. Breakfast and drinks very expensive, corridors smelt :(
Your internet access is much to expensive. 10 pounds a day! Free WiFi is normal standard in hotels nowadays.
The location was excellent - close to Albert Dock and the city centre. Clean, comfortable and efficiently run.
the hotel was just right. the city centre was just up the street it was very handy to all the shops. not to far to carry all my shopping. great. i liked everything
Easy online booking. Well equiped room. Helpfull staff. Building work ongoing in hotel. Problem with hot water in showers.
The location is really good. Shoppig aerea is just around the corner. The staff was not helpful. And room was really cold after we got the reater it was ok.
Location very central, car park good value, shower excellent. large groups of noisy 'lasses and lads', poor restaurant and lounge, smoking area next to entrance
I could come and go when I wanted, good parking, close to city centre.
Location really that`s it The so called english breakfast buffy is really just a big joke and waste off money from the 6 of us 4 left to eat elsewere no chef
A slightly unusual but impressively different type of hotel, pleasant interior and surroundings, one of the best hotels I've stayed in !
The hotel is in a lovely location by the docks and has easy access to all the amenities in the city centre. We had a lovely stay at the staybridge, the room was spacious and clean and the staff were all very friendly.
The Suites is easily accessible and convenient to the Albert Dock and city centre. The Staybridge refers to itself as a 'home from home' and we certainly felt very much at home there. The room was very clean and comfortable, and very modern, too. The staff were friendly and helpful.
the location of the hotel was really good close to the dockland area and a five minute walk into town centre. the room was nice and spacious and clean. When we had dealings with staff they were nice, friendly and helpful. Good it had a secure car parking as well the only thing i can fault the hotel on was it was a self contained room but had no cutlery in the room what is only a minor thing
A very friendly quiet place, with loads of personality, and just the right distance from Town too.
I thought the room was lovely and the staff were very friendly. I felt very comfortable there. There was a welcoming atmosphere. I think the room was smaller than i expected and a little expensive.
The hotel has thought of everything, the rooms are beautiful with the added bonus of a kitchen - perfect! Directions to the hotel - not being able to find it using a TOM TOM - this must prove very frustrating for staff constantly answering the phone to lost guests!
Very clean and comfortable. Nice public areas. The hotel breakfast was disorganized. Not enough plates and cups and tables not being cleared quickly enough. The design of the hotel lacks security in that people can enter the hotel without going past Reception. This was dealt with at night by a member of staff taking the names of the guests at the door, not an ideal solution. The hotel should arrange for discounted parking for guests. We had to pay the full day price of £10 at the Echo Arena Car Park.
Very nice new hotel, great staff, great buffet and great room!
Friendly & helpful staff, excellent facilities, great location and good value for money
The staff were very helpful, room very comfortable and welcoming. The bathroom clean and tidy, and the shower exellent. When we read that the breakfast was going to be a continental one we thought well ok, but when we came down for breakfast we were very pleasantly surprised to find it was more than that. With hot food, not just a bread roll and cheese. Lots of it and very good quality! Overall a very good stay and would return anytime!
Found the hotel convenient, excellent location for 'eating out'. We saw all the shops around the dock but unfotunately were unable to take advantage of them! Business trip. Feel that the breakfast could be improved upon.
Friendly, helpful staff; excellent location, lovely converted warehouse with clean, pleasant, quiet rooms. Breakfast was the only less than excellent thing about this hotel- adequate, but not great. Limited choice of bread/cereal and lukewarm cooked food- however, this was not bad enough to detract from overall excellent rating.
Staff were very friendly and helpful - booking taxis for us etc, also kept our bags after check out to enable us to visit city attractions
location was excellent
interior style only, poor sound insulation from adjoining rooms
Splendid location, great window view of the River Mersey & Birkenhead. Fantastic breakfast & pleasant night's sleep
poor breakfast choice
Hard to get to; lobby is on the second floor and there are only two SLOW elevators serving the entire hotel
good location free parking would be better
The noise , late at night. Our room was right over the Beatles Story, they had no air conditioning and we had to leave our windows open to hear the drunks, etc.
The location is great and the building has a wonderful character to it.
The cleanliness was the best I have ever seen.the staff sorted out our problem immediately as below and refunded us without any hassle . only the 2nd night a girl said the wind was not her problem which I did not think was very professional Being put in a room that is known to be next to the air conditioning generator (401)and keeps you awake.moving us to a room with a broken window seal on the night of the hurricane
I like the location. The Albert Docks is lovely Temperature of the room kind of cold
The attitude of the staff, the quality of the breakfast and the location in the Albert Dock. Thought it ws a little overpriced for a supposedly budget hotel. They were painting and decorating the reception area at the main time of check out which was not very convenient.
Friendly, helpful staff; good position of hotel; good breakfast; large comfortable room None
The room was not very warm
Staff were pleasant and price and location were good, nice large room overlooking the dock, having stayed at 2 other big hotels this one was the best, would definately book again I booked bed and breakfast - but was told it was room only other than that the hotel was fine
The hotel was developed within the Albert Dock, a historic warehouse complex, as a result the rooms were not standard, and used the features of the old warehouse ie barrel ceilings, original brickwork etc.
Central, clean, value for money Light bulb missing in bedside light, heating unit not 100%
