Pros (+) This seemed like a hotel that used to be very nice and has been allowed to fall to pieces over the years. The lobby was nice, and the pool was beautiful (though freezing).
Cons (-) My first surprise was not being greeted as we entered or stood waiting at the counter, but that was only the beginning. Their credit card machine didn't work properly, and the fountain in the lobby was empty and seemed to be used as a holding tank for contruction materials. They have a great policy in that you will be charged $200 if caught smoking in the room, so as you could imagine the room had no stinky smoke smell.
