I recently rented a car from Economy Car Rental cot, and while the booking process was easy, I was disappointed by the misleading information on their website regarding the kilometer allowance. The website stated that the rental included unlimited kilometers, but when I arrived to pick up the car, I was told a different limit applied. This caused confusion and unexpected extra charges. The staff were polite, but I wish the company ensured the information on their website matched the actual rental terms. Clear and accurate details are important for customer trust. I hope they update their website to avoid this issue for future renters.
Wasn’t able to get my rental online when I tried to pick it up because I was told in person I had to be 25 and up to be able to buy a rental car and pick it up but when I did it online, I put 21 years old as I am that age, and even my birthday. The transaction went through and took my money out but if I had to be 25 and up to even rent the car then online it should be fixed properly saying error or not even allow me to purchase it if I had to be a certain age it was just alot of struggle trying to do it and went all the way to the airport to pick it up at the spot when it’s far from my house
This is not Economy Rent a Car, it’s Jet Car Rental. They misrepresent themselves as a reputable brand when really it’s an independent location and there is only 1. Also, they advertise unlimited KM but then tell you it’s capped at 1400 km and each additional Km is $0.30, plus 35% tax. They make you pay for insurance no matter if you have insurance or not, so be prepared for $5-$12 a day for that. And they take a $1000 deposit which I was not informed about. This place should be reported to the Better Business Bureau.

Car was not in good condition. Got flat tire and they hold extra money on my credit card. Bad service
A whole busload of ppl arrived on their shuttle together late in the evening from flights across Canada. Many flights were from 1 to 3 hours late. I watched them tell one after another that they have no reservation, it was cancelled because they arrived late. Some were so upset they were in tears. My reservation was good still being only 1 hour late. They are not at the airport so the travellers denied cars are now stranded outside the airport. Poor customer service. Many customers called the reservation line to inform them about their flight delays. There was no communication to the people working that night. No sympathy, and no attempt to help them. Just a sorry....next.
