Pros:
The car was clean, and new.Cons:
Very poor communication, as to a few users on here, i signed up thinking i was going to pay $200 for a week with a car and insurance from Allianz, but that was sadly not the case. Once i arrived, i was greeted with $300 of additional fees, Including VAT, city tax (which the rental said was already paid for when i checked out), and also a destination fee given i was not returning at the same spot, ($65). None of this was mentioned when i booked the car! To top it off, they had the nerve to give me a car with 3/4 of a tank (marked full) and have you agree to the policy of $65 to fill up the tank at the end of the rental if it is not exactly full. Ridiculous. Then Avis recommended we purchase an additional $40/day of insurance to ensure our deductible ($1000) is not put into jeopardy if we get into an accident. Just insane. SO in summary, i got a car with 3/4 tank of gas (marked full). Was supposed to pay $200 with insurance taxes fees for 5 days, ended up paying $600+. STAY AWAY!! SCAM!!4.0 Mediocre
