Pros (+) All the staff were incredibly helpful and courteous!
Pros (+) On my way to the hotel I received a call from the staff of the hotel who informed me my room was upgraded to a suite. This room was FANTASTIC -- great amenities, plenty of space, clean, and a terrific view of Dupont Circle and the National Cathedral that's a mile away. The best hotel experience in DC by far.
Pros (+) Very upscale looking hotel
Cons (-) The A/C was on blast. Too cold in the common public areas. Like arctic cold. Uncomfortable. Also the lighting in the room was totally insufficient. Very dim and dark. Opening the windows didn't help because we were in a room on the inside part of the hotel which faced the other wall of the building.

Pros (+) The neighborhood had a little of everything for you whithin short walk distance. Was nice to have the calm of the neighborhood but close enough to get into the hustle of the downtown area.

Before we left for dinner we called and asked that our room be refreshed and housekeeping said they would be right up. They never came. Cons (-) Where do I start, first off the rooms don't match the picture online. The staff there is very rude. The only way I was able to get any help from them was to ask to speak to the manager. The beds there look like something from 1980's . There is no door on the bathroom so if you want to us the bathroom if you have family,friends with you you have to use the lobby bathroom. Pros (+) The hotel staff was very cordial. Very busy and active bar in the hotel. Breakfast from the hotel restaurant was good. The room was clean and very modern. Beds were very comfortable.
