seaside, comfort, food, staff
boat service high prices in bar
Bedroom was v big They were pretty much closing up for close season. No spa, no pool, no beach, no shops, even all the glass cabinets had been emptied
My two-night stay lived up to all my expectations. The restuarant was good; breakfast excellent; and the pool a delight. Perhaps greatest perk was the motor boat shuttle to and from St. Marks Square.
Excellent, attentive staff Suspect we did not get the best rooms available for the price paid
We were only at the hotel for 6 hours, it is difficult to rate for such a short stay They do not take U.S. dollars
The beach is wonderful and the pool bar is a lovely touch. The hotel is one of the best i have ever stayed in. The free courtesy boat to Venice is worthwhile.
1/ The charm of the Lido and the atmosphere "annees folles"...2/ The regular and complimentory speed boat to St Marco3/ The quietness of the hotel room 1/ The oldness of the rooms: they would need to be refurbished w/o however loosing the oldness touc of the hotel (a good role model is Relais and Chateaux type of hotels, allying history to luxury) 2/ The food in the cafe was just "ok" and not cheap for what it was...either needs top food...or lower the price
The Bed, Shuttle Boat to Venice, Break Feast, Gym Car Parking costs 33 Euros per night.
Service got better as we went through Overly expensive, tired and really only 3* standard
Room was "large" by European standards. Great breakfast. Beautiful grounds and friendly staff. Only thing was it wasn't in the main part of Venice but short water taxi ride away
The style, size and cleanliness of the rooms were good. Spacious rooms kept clean. The style was italian but not too bold. Was only 10 minutes boat journey to centre. The service in the restaurant was very slow, 45 minute wait for food. The massage was painful make sure you ask for light!!
The hotel was very beautiful, especially the exterior and the interior had lovely old fixtures and photographs. The staff were very helpful.
Beautiful building, ideal location near to vaporetto stop to Venice, helpful receptionists, very nice buffet breakfast The restaurant is not open (unannounced), the bar is not attractive, no parking possibilities, very few private clients but many large groups staying for one night
Good location and whilst old, the building has character. Staff in the restaurant were attentive but on arrival we had to wait 15 minutes as the receptionist was talking on the phone.
great hotel, we stayed here last year too and the rooms were better than this year after the renovation (I think the renovation was not as good as it could be - the rooms lost their "warmth"). The hotel services though, are excellent.
The decor was amazing and I was impressed with the period furniture The only fault i could find was that there was only one chair in the room - 2 would have been better
excellent location on main street close to everything, nice superior room, clean and spacious for italian standard, parking availabele, friendly and helpfull staff lightining at night, becaue of strong light we could not leave open window
The location was fantastic for a trip to Venice, the hotel was a beautiful grand building inside and out. Staff were polite and helpful, Rooms were magnificent and clean. Breakfast was plentiful with good choice and nice coffee. Would absolutely recommend it for stay in Venice, and even better - the price!
excellent location to see the sites of venice, facade and interior interesting, staff very friendly made up for problems see below shower didn't work then leaked downstairs when it did, sky TV in room didn't seem to work, hot breakfast was cold, no tea making in room, walls very thin and could hear next door as tv was so loud. For class of hotel and cost disappointing
Location Extremely noisy room - glazing did not close properly and noise from street cafes, scooters, cars, mtorbikes and 5am bin lorries made the stay quite uncomfortable. Would have enjoyed it more with less noise during the night.
Ideally situated on Lido Island, a stones throw from the boat, which take you to other parts of Venice, including Piazza San Marco. The staff was excellent - very professional, polite and answered every question; the breakfast was delicious!! We loved the setting - beautiful with gardens, by the water, with a terrace for an evening glass of wine or spritz. We would return to Hotel Villa Mabapa!!! Absolutely nothing!!
The hotel was in a great location with fantastic views across the lagoon. The terrace garden was really nice, the breakfast good and the room was spacious and well equipped.
Our final night here and the dinner was the best of our whole holiday. Bedrooms good but pillows hard. Location to ferry excellent but hotel should warn guests with cars that queues for early ferry can be llong. Recommend buying return ticket when boarding in Venice so separate short queue for pre-bookers.
The hotel looked very nice, cosy with nice garden etc. It was a pleasure when entering the hotel. The staff seems to be grumpy sometimes.
Friendly, helpful staff, away from the busier parts of Venice
Clean and very big rooms. No restaurant, no free tea/coffee which should be standard in this category, parking slots for free but ferry with 100 EUR for car with 4 people very expensive, water taxi to Venice casts 6 EUR per person one way and beach usage 13 EUR. No pool and/or fitness facilities. Location is in the middle of the island and no view to water as claimed. Summary: ridiculous expensive for offered value.
The location, size of the room and all facilities worked - the air con was tremendous & the safw worked. These don't often work in Italian hotels. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. There could have been more fresh fruit at breakfast.
Quiet good quality hotel, good food and service, comfortable rooms, caring staff especially when considering the children. Narrow lifts made it difficult to access with a push chair. Wheels had to be taken off chair!
first room offered was small with one tiny window and a sloping ceiling making it quite claustrophobic, second room had been sprayed with a very powerful chemical spray to cover up dog smells and it was filthy and damp, the third room was what we should have got in the first place and was roomier, with much more light. daytime reception staff were condescending. there are only 6 very cramped parking spaces for 70 hotel rooms and their comments of parking out on the street at front of hotel is very misleading. in the 4 days we were at the hotel parking out the front was never available. we had to park at least 1/2 km away. be wary if you are expecting parking onsite or on the street out front you better be visiting in winter!!
Mini bar not replenished each day,coffee/tea making not replenished and plastic mugs and spoons not acceptable for a 4star hotel in our experience. Soap disappeared on two occasions and not replenished. These were only small irritations but irritations nevertheless. Otherwise very good.
The location and the grounds The staff were very good and helpful The breakfast was poor, with little fresh fruit and a limited selection. The Restarant is terrible and expensive
The hotel itself is lovely: elegant, artsy in a great location. Everything is done on the cheap. No air circulation or air-conditioning at night even though the temperatures warranted air-conditioning. Mosquitoes once the window had to be opened. Bad coffee (in Italia?), watered-down juice, stale bread. Safe didn't work; window didn't work properly.
A great hotel with charming and helpful staff. Very Clean and nicely designed rooms. Highly recomend.'Nearby beaches, a 5 minute walk, and 5 minute walk to the Waterbus/Vaporetto.
Great Staff, Clean Room, Great Price Nothing apart from the elevator being broken (One of those things that happens)
The decor, the service level of staff at the hotel and the value for money it offered as an alternative to booking a hotel in main Venice.
Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast
Its location at the island and surroundings, nice design of the building's interiour and comfort. Room was cosy, a bit too small but pleasant for even a longer stay. The floor could better be dust-cleaned. In spite of WIFI, one PC in the hotel lobby could help those without laptop to check mail.
Staff were so welcoming and great recommendations on local places to eat. Quiet location. New hotel. Gorgeous facilities.
Nice, quiet residential area. Everyone we encountered at the front desk was extremely helpful.
The hotel staff were so kind and helpful to us and our 19 month old daughter. The lady at the front desk went as far as giving our daughter a pail, shovel and rake to use at the beach. That may probably seem meaningless to some but for us who were travelling from Canada and were ending our 3 week trip in Venice it was very much appreciated as it kept her very busy at the beach!!!!!! Thank You!!!! NONE
everthing was ok , rooms were off a good standed shower wery small,
Perfect location near vaporetto and town centre with a lovely view across the leguna. Friendly staff; Lovely suite of rooms: Beautiful and peaceful Lido, not frantic with tourists like Venice.
excellent location friendly helpful staff
Located very close to the station of Vapolet. Room was very nice. Staffs were very kind. Excellent!
The staff were great. So close to the Lido station . Would stay there again.
In general, I pretty much liked everything. They have very pleasant stuff always willing to help, nice restaurant, service, but I still liked the best see view from my room.
Excellent location, luxury feel to the hotel, staff were great, food and drink of very high standard. I will always stay here when in Venice
Friendliness and helpful staff. Location, location = magic views of venice at night. Extremely versatile for vaporetti - Airport, bruano, train station, p/roma - cruise ships. Bike riding, beach, lighthouse walk! Breakfast very very good.! Unfortunately, dinner in the restaurant did not meet expectations. Service excellent, food just did not "do it" for us.
The room had a garden area from which we could see San Marco square. The cocktails and dinner were fabulous. Nothing
Breakfast had great choices, and fresh squeezed orange juice. Takes awhile to get to the main part of venice and back from Lido.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Xxxxx
The staff were very helpful we booked a superior room and we had to change it because we found it noisy and very small for its classification
geographic situation, quietness
Breakfast was excellent, the dinnig room was very elegant and frendly. Before sleeping it was nice to stay for a while on the terrace of the hotel to admire Venice by night. The hotel has its own private place on the Lido for hot summer days, when you don't want to go to Venice for sightseeing.
the bath tub but it made noise and what are those strings and the toilet looking thing with a spout. just the fact that there was no air conditioning and our room was next to a busy street so when we opened the windows to get fresh air we could hear people.
Welcoming, comfortable and spotless
Excellent Location Wifi poor or nonexistent in the room I stayed in the third floor
Location by the water bus station was very good. Breakfast was included and there was a nice restaurant right next to hotel, on water front. Some of staff was not helpful. We received bad directions from staff that got us lost and our wakeup call never happened which could have caused us to miss our flight home.
The staff there were extremely helpful, knowledgeable of the area, polite and would bend over backwards to be of service!!! The hotel also has a terrace where guest can go and relax. What a great surprise!!
Its location was ideal for waterbus access to and from the airport and to the City. The staff were friendly and helpful. More could be made of the bar area.
The night time front desk person was very unfriendly and did not make us feel welcome. The water taxis can be heard all night long. The bedside light did not work and the shower fixture was broken.
The hotel was just okay. Would not stay again at Hotel Panorama simply because I had no idea that it was so far from Venice Proper since it was located on the Lido which was 45 minutes from Venice by boat. Thought the room and shower were much smaller than expected. Breakfast could also be improved upon.
This is an excellent hotel, partuclarly considering the price! The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is very well run and spotlessly clean. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel.
Good location, easy access to everything and good value for money. Internet connectivity
The employers are very helpful and Lido is a nice place to run. The bus passes every 20 minutes for the 1km journey until the boats that take 20 minutes to San Marco. The breakfast is poor if you consider a 4star hotel and our air conditioning was noisy.
the location in Lido was ideal and just a short walk to water taxi stop. the rooms were comfortable and kept clean during our stay. staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable.
Friendliness & helpful
nice staff, great breakfast, good comfortably equipped rooms. economy room not nice, we had the choice between street level where people can look into the room or under the roof where you cannot stand up straight. In the end we upgraded to a small but very nice room with view over the lagoon.
Everything was fantastic. The staff were always helpful and informative. The location on Lido was fantastic because it was away from the crowds and each time we used the vaporetto, we got a tour of the main canals - no need for an expensive gondola. Highly recommended!
Excellent location , close to the city but far enough away to be relaxed . Free water taxi into city on a morning was very useful , and closeness to the Lido beach meant we had the best of both worlds.
Excellent choice if you are visiting Venice. Convinient, easy access to all Venice attractions, yet in a quiet location, with panoramic views. Breakfast room has large windows and balcony with awesome views. Good breakfast. Easy access to water bus and car ferry. Free parking on the street. none
nice room ( i requested a room with a view if possible when i booked) which they noted and granted - nice touch. staff friendly, nice breakfast room and being on the lido it was close to venice itself but far enough away to be relaxing. no - everything was fine
I liked the location - I did not like the room - was definitely not 4* standard. doors falling off wardrobes, skirting boards broken, bathroom tiny.
I was attending a conference and exhibition. I was informed that there would be internet wifi in my hotel room, but when I arrived, I was informed that the floor I was on (4th) did not have this facility. As I was there for work purposes this was a little frustrating, therefore I would suggest that the hotel should not lead clients onto thinking that the service was freely available when there were limits.
the friendliness of the staff and we received a bottle of prosecco to say sorry for the mould in the room. There was mould in the room and although later cleaned, the smell of it never went away, room was so small we could hardly go round the bed, you had to squeeze past the bathroom door, then close it to access the toilet. It seemed the room hadn't been used for ages. Very overpriced.
Lovely grounds, breakfast room, neighborhood, location. Some of the staff was "reserved" aka, "cool", others were wonderful. Hard to know what to expect from time to time.
The only good thing about this hotel is its location - close to the beach and the waterbuses. The room had a good unsuite bathroom with a spa bath. Free Wi-Fi We got a twin room instead of a double. The room had tacky old furniture and the balcony wasn't overlooking a garden as advertised in the pictures. Bad swimming-pool style hairdryer. The worst thing was probably breakfast. There was the same choice of food every day, mostly not-very-tasty cakes and croissants, cold and cracked boiled eggs, disgusting-looking omlette, bad tea, old cutlery and plates. All-in-all wouldn't give this hotel more than 2.5 stars.
The location and the staff were fantastic - espically the staff member who recommended the Gondola tour, which turned out to be inexpensive and great value
The hotel was clean and in a good location, either an easy walk to beach or a quick waterbus ride to Venice. Efficient air conditioning. Close to a variety of restaurants and cafes. A substantial breakfast offering a good range of products. Staff pleasant and helpful The decoration of the bedroom was a bit garish in OTT Venetian style as expected but comfortable. The whirlpool bath was powerful and created the most amazing amount of bubbles - some instructions would have been helpful as it would not turn off and was quite noisy to run so may have distrubed our neighbours. I enjoyed it but they may not have been so amused.
very warm welcom - helpful staff and extremely clean no complaints
The room, breakfast, breakfast room and outside area The staff could have been more friendly
Smile You reccoment to us to visit the Morano factory with free transport. You MUST make cleared to the Morano factory that the customers from your Hotel to be return by MORANO services, and NOT by the Public line. This is NOT good for the HOTEL standard.
The staff were very helpful and the food was excellent, in particular the 'all inclusive' menu. Beds were very hard as were the pillows. Would have liked a bath as well as a shower.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was quiet and quaint.
Realy good hotel for relax.
Close to transport for Venice and also within easy walking distance for the beach. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room.
Place is beautiful. Very clean. Romantic. Nice size rooms. Location is great if you want to relax and easy boat ride to major tourist attractions. Beach around the corner. Food was decent. Mosquitos killed us. Make sure you have a repellent on hand. Wifi is just terrible if you are relying on it for work this is not the place for you.
Just a great experience. Unique room, pleasant staff, and an incredible location 5 minutes from the beach. It IS a 15 minute walk from the Lido station on the way to the main Venice site, but it's a pleasant walk and you can always grab a bus. The beds are fairly uncomfortable!
Location and accomodation. Nothing.
- Friendly and helpful staff all around - we resided in a superior room on the 1st floor of the villa, a few meters from the hotel, and not only the room and balcony where fantastic, it is also a quiet place to relax after visiting Venice. - Very easy with the boat busses (approx 1 km from the hotel to reach them) to visit al the parts of Venice - Breakfast was good and all the plates have been refilled immediately, we did not find it necessary to order the supplements - bathrobes and coffee making facilities would have made it complete
The hotel stafe was amazing. The reception staff was so warm and welcoming, I didnt want to leave. The Resturant staff was so helpfull and really made my meals so great. I had a wonderful stay.
The hotel was charming and the accommodations very nice.
Location is excellent for the beach. Easy travel via vaporetto back to San Marco. Best of both worlds in Venice. Bath tube had small isues with pressure and drain. Advised staff.
Rooms were a very good size. Nice bathroom. Less than five minutes walk from the water bus stop.
The staff is very friendly and helpfull.
Location, comfort -
Staff were very friendly and helpful; close proximity of the hotel to the vaporetto stop is perfect for getting around Venice Breakfast selection was limited; double beds were just 2 singles pushed together
Location to boats was brilliant, staff were so friendly and helpful, loved staying on the Lido to get away from busy Venice no.
convenient room a little small for 4 star
The reception staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English, the room was a good size and comfortable, and the location was convenient: easy to get both to central Venice and to go to the beach. The air conditioning in our room wasn't good (not sure if it even worked except the room was considerably cooller than the bathroom) and the decor was very old-fashioned.
Location Light in the room too dark
the location for a 4 star hotel the room was very small, the bathroom was even smaller, there was no microwave in the room and the hotel didn't allow you to use the microfridge for personal drinks but only for their over priced beverages.
Conveniently located to the water bus that runs all night and takes 15 to 20 minutes to St Marco's square and runs all night Difficult to understand where they got their 4 stars from .. ..except for the prices. In addition to room rates as expensive as capital cities, parking is an extra 10 euros per night and internet 5 euro an hour. Compared to the other 20 something hotels I have stayed in this year, the twin room was smaller than an average single room. The bathroom had a bath but the black mould above the tiling and on the ceiling destroyed any idea of relaxing in it after trekking around Venice. Breakfast the second day was farcical : there was nothing left at 9 am and we had to wait 10 minutes for the staff to provide amuch smaller choice than the previous day
I enjoyed my time here while visiting Venice and Lido. It's right on the main strip and very close to the water transit station. Good classic feel inside in the lobby and restaurant. I had a room on the ground floor, which was a bit strange.
Buffet breakfast was good especially considering that it was included in the price and the free parking.
the staff were very helpful and polite it was convenient for the local restaurants and not far from the beach about a 10 minute walk The breakfast did not offer much variety- it was adequate but some meat /salami etc would have been nice
It is close to vaporeto station. Then 20 minutes by vaporeto to Venice center. 15 minutes walking to free public beach. A bout vaporeto: we used it four days and we have bought tickets only once - no control was met. Breakfast is poor.
Sightseeing in Venice
The smell in the lift.
The breakfast was very poor-no hot food, no cheese or cold meat, no fresh fruits, just cereals, yogurt, coffee and croissants. So if there an option to book iust a room without breakfast I recommend to do it. There are lots of nice cafes and restaurants around.
Very pleasant hotel well situated on the Lido within easy reach of the main street for shopping and restaurants and for the crossing to Venice Island. Warm, clean and comfortable with a very satisfactory continental breakfast. If you travel across with your car you must book a free parking space as there is no street parking. You have to reverse into a single line parking are & hand your car keys to reception so that they can move your car when necessary. It's no big deal but would have been nice to know before hand. A very reasonably priced hotel for accessing Venice. Only not knowing about the parking set up but it was no problem.
The stay in Lido
Wonderful hotel and the prices were very good.
Spacious spotless room and excellent breakfasts Dinner menu overpriced and not freshly made.
Friendly staff, clean and big room, good breakfast.
the room is nice very clean specially if it has a balcony. Is ok to spend a short vacation there. T General terms: good They should have a closed terrace for smokers because is quite uncomfortable to smoke outside if is not summer time.
The location of the hotel is perfect. The view to the Adria and Venice from the top this was a perfect base to discover Venice with our kids.
Friendly staffs. Good Breakfast. Nice location. Clean room and small but good bathroom. Nothing!
Breakfast, sun terrace, restaurant Our room was one of 3 located on the ground floor overlooking the car park. There were rooms overlooking the beach- we asked to be moved each day but it was not possible. THis did spoil the stay.
The decor is professional, the food - both breakfast and meals- was good, so was the room, bathroom is spacious with an excellent heater and the staff was courteous. Very good value for money. The fact that it was at the other side of the Lido island as we alight, it was worth the effort walking there along a very pleasant street, and there is a bus as found out later.
Rooms are newly renovated, they gave us sea facing room. Bedroom is very clean & comfortable. Prices are little high. Breakfast is not as per any standard, not much variety.
The comfort in the room. Delicious italian kitchen in restourant. Nothing! :)
The clenliness of the hotel and the sun terrace was good, (giving the costly inconvenience of having to use the beach facilities). Access to Venice from Lido and visa vera was very good with regular ferries which operate 24/7 (average journey time 10-15mins) and the Airport was also easy to get to and from by ferry (average journey time 1hr 10mins). General local tourist information was none existent within the hotel. There was no basic tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms, which is an inconvenience when you get back in the evening from a days sightseeing in Venice and just want to sit down with a hot drink. The hotel would provide a kettle (even though it didn't fit any of the plugs in the room) and to add insult to this they would not even provide cups with the kettle, which was rather sad. Access to the beach is poor with each section private and the cost of hiring a sun lounger through the hotel we found to be a complete rip off and not value for money. We were charged 20Euro to hire the sun lounger from 1130 to 1300 hrs. The hotel is a good 10-15 minutes walk from the ferry port at Lido, which is not the most convenient, however there is a regular bus service, but with buses every half hour, 9 times out of 10 your quicker to just start walking.
The hotel was not central, and travel ate up a good part of the day. There was nothing to see in this area of Venice. I felt services to be poor at this hotel as we were charged a fee of 60 euro to have a comforter brought to the cleaners for a black marking on it. I was also nearly charged a fee for a water taxi I did not request and was kept up 2 nights that I was there because of noise.
Reasonable price for Venice. Quite. Close to Venice - 10 min by boat.
Quiet location; very good breakfast; friendly and helpful staff; nice bedrooms; environmentally conscious. Bathroom could do with a revamp.
Very close to the car ferry, On the waters edge; Good choice of buffet breakfast; well laid out gardens behind the hotel Rooms were very small; although there was a temprature control set to low the room was too hot; in September due to the close vicinity to the water, there were quite a few mosquetos, and flying insects to contend with;so it was difficult to open the balcony doors for ventilation
The garden is very nice, the rooms are clean and the athmosphere in the hotel is very pleasant. That there is no possibility for dinner.
Everything was perfectly acceptable, the staff were pleasant, location was fine because the bus stopped outside. Breakfast on the terrace was rather lovely. It was a nice hotel to stay in. Pillows were awful The a/c died in the middle of the night and couldnt be fixed and we couldnt be moved to another room until the next day but it was dealt with as well as could be expected
Our room was newly refurbished. Nice viktorian style furnishings. The location of hotel is too far away from town centre, the beach and ferry connections! There is a bus stop close to hotel, but I wouldnt say the bus is very reliable or that the routes are straightforward. Also, could not open the windows due to bad smell from outside. Our personal belongings in our room were continuously moved by housekeeping staff. We vacated the hotel two days before our departure date (due to our disliking the hotel and location) with no refund given or questions asked by any of the staff.
the noise of the air-con during the all night!
This hotel is lovely and quiet has a fab view for breakfast and is easy to walk of bus stops outside and wvwn water taxis can take you to almost the front door
It was lovely being on the Lido... . It was a very friendly area and all the people were friendly and helpful. a little difficult traveling but also an adventure
The desk staff were friendly and helpful. Very clean hotel and great location - right across the street from the vaporetto stop. The breakfast buffet was excellent - choice of fruits, cheese, meat, yogurt, oj, croissants, breads. Definitely would recommend and stay here again.
the view outside my window ...over looking...venice!!! it's beautiful!!
Professionalism of the staff, location, breakfast are great. Single rooms are very very small and there are no outlets to plug anything other than a razor in the bathroom.
the fantastic views, convenience to transport, which meant we could easily visit other islands. I would have liked more local information, ie when it was a holiday which meant some shops were closed. Plus details of food outlets ,we found it very expensive to eat out. We would have liked an evening meal in the hotel.
The hotel is extremely well situated to waterbuses going into Venice. The staff were cordial, the rooms clean and they provided an excellent breakfast at a reasonable price.
Great location, first hotel you get to when you arrive at Lido. Waterbuses to Venice only take a few minutes and go all through the night A little dated, and small rooms
All of the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Good selection of foods on the breakfast buffet. The location of the hotel just across from main boat stop made getting to and from the city very easy. This is our third visit to Venice, but first time at this hotel. We will stay here again. Good value for money.
The hotel was ideally placed, close to the ferries to Venice. The view from our room of Venice was lovely and our room was a good size. Breakfast was plentiful and varied The hard bed took a little getting used to.
Air Conditioning - v cool throughout. Location, close to boat/bus/beach. Everything was acceptable, friendly staff, clean, light breakfast included, overall good value for the price The room we had was small, not an issue given that we were out and about most of the time
Very nice hotel! Great location at 5 min walk from the vaporetto station. 10 min walk from the beach. Room simple and small but very clean. Nice staff Breakfast a bit poor but ok.
Hotel staff Breakfast - just a small baguette per person, no ham, no fresh cheese, no vegetables
Smallish room but very clean and comfortable. New en suite. Breakfast selection very limited - one type of fresh fruit, one type of cereal, one type of cheese (processed),etc but those offered were fine.
Cleanliness & location
Where the Hotel is located (near Piazza S. Marcos); Staff helpful; I got a very good price (promotion), so was perfect. The normal price is a fair price for this hotel. Poor breakfast. Lack of Ham, Cheese, Eggs and Bacon.
Location was excellent There was mold in the bathroom
Having a large private terrace was a huge bonus after a long day's sightseing in Venice. Somewhere nice to sit and drink a leisurely glass of wine. The jet spabath in the bathroom was very good too.
the location place for the breakfast
Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was medium with low variety of fresh products. The shower in the bathroom did not have adequate water pressure.
nice location, pretty hotel, very nice staff, lovely roof terace. strictly non-smoker- not what we expected.
Friendly stuff. Special thank you to Christian (on reception) for hospitality and knowledge fluency in multiple languages. He answered all our questions, and was ready to help us in all posible ways. Left a very positive remark about the hotel. Wonderful breakfast, especially fres Italian pastry and great espresso. Unfotunately the rooms were quite small, especially the shower cabin, it was very small, even for a small woman like me. Also the towels were not changed and the room wasn't clean when we were away.
rooms, breakfast, quiet, cozily, view from the terrace, the warm battery in the bathroom there was no staff at the reception at 20.30, we waited half an hour to get a room key
Location. Interior furnishings
Room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful with suggestions about things to do and places to eat in the area.
Good parking. Perfect breakfast. Hotel is at Lido island! Car-travelers: ferry-boat would cost you 16 euro one way for car and 6,5 euro for passenger. Car-queue for boarding on ferry from Lido to Tronchetto (Venice) take 1 hour! Hotel administrator required us to leave him a passport and car key. Staff don't wash hand towels at all, "to keep environment", as says information plate on bathroom's door. We found someone's hair (look like hair definately not from head) on towels in our room. Rooms are small. Hotel administrator was chatting someone by phone almost everytime we saw him. WiFi signal in room was very poor, internet unusable. We used it only near lobby.
The convenience and location of the site was excellent. 10 mins walk to beach and 5 mins to ferry boat for Venice. No complaints at all.
Charming and peaceful but close enough to a main area to walk to restaurants, shopping and the vaporetto to Venice. Although they serve a continental breakfast every morning, it would be nice to be able to have tea or coffee later in the day.
