Cons: Had my reservation for a king sized bed, and when I entered the room, it was 2 doubles. Went down to get it changed, and the staff member (Elena?) said the rooms were fully booked and said that "the king sized was just a request". I persisted that I reserved a king and paid the price for a king, which was clearly printed on my reservation confirmation. She went to the back room to check with her manager, and finally came back out to change my room to a king size bed. It was a little troubling to have to put up a fight to get what I had reserved.

Cons: Late night room service options.

Cons: The water and shower were strange. Hot water ran out of the cold faucet in the sink for a full minute before it got cold, every time. Temperature of the shower and strength of the stream were from the same dial, so to get good pressure you had to sacrifice comfort. Truly bizarre. You need better signage downstairs to find the front desk. Usually they're on the ground floor. One of the down elevators was out, so we had a long wait because the first one working was full. $4.50 for bottles of water in the room? No way! There should be 2 complimentary water bottles, which you get in other fine hotels. And there is no convenience store nearby which stocks good water at a reasonable price. The (excellent) TV in the room was set at an odd angle, you have to twist your neck to view. Channel selections did not include Fox Business, which has higher ratings than CNBC; and MLB Network, which has baseball coverage other than the Toronto Blue Jays. And if you must burn half a dozen channels on French language programming, it's time to expand channel capacity. The three dinner restaurants had problems, in addition to high prices. The bar which had such good recorded music at lunch had a terrible, whiny live folksinger performing. We had to leave. The top premium restaurant was closed for a special event, and the third was expensive and you could still hear the awful folksinger because there was no wall. We wound up dining at the hotel across the street. You don't want people walking in there, do you? Finally, and most annoyingly, there was a fifteen minute waiting queue for a taxicab when we were leaving for the airport. The cab driver explained that the problem was all the cabs were handling cruise ship traffic. Well, this must happen most days, and you need to do something about it besides having an older doorman losing a battle with the hotel across the street (and customers down the street) for the attention of the taxis. You should probably warn your guests in advance of the problem, and provide a list of private local cars/limos and the URL of the Vancouver version of Uber as alternatives. And hire a sexy young woman to replace the older gent because if cabbies in Canada are anything like those in the U.S., they won't make sharp U-turns to avoid a beautiful woman making sharp whistling sounds.

Cons: the restaurant was extremely over priced and a turn off. this was the first $9.00 bowl of cereal that I have ever seen. location left some to be desired also.

Cons: The hotel probably need to be refreshed. Better use of the dinning and the lobby will be great.

Cons: People were smoking on their decks and it was going into our room. When we called the front desk about it they were not super helpful.

Cons: room wasn't ready or available upon my arrival. I had to take anotgher room in lower level.

Cons: For breakfast we had the buffet and food was not always available. This was a disappointment as it was a Saturday and an event was being hosted that weekend. You would think that the kitchen would have been more prepared.

Cons: The hotel, though very nice is showing its age, mostly in exterior architecture & room hallways. The pool/spa was a bit dirty and not very well lit. The lobby makes a great first impression but diminishes with interaction with the rest of the spaces...

Cons: I have stayed at the Pinnacle property in North Vancouver and rooms are a bit more modern but it is also a newer hotel. Overall, it was a great night in the city and a perfect location.

Cons: We had no negative experiences or observations.

Cons: I didn't want to pay the outrageous internet fee, which for four days with tax would have been nearly $100. This needs to change, as it is free in lesser quality hotels.

Cons: The exterior is lack luster and the elevators have not been upgraded and feel a bit rickety. Our room was a hallway away from the core and we could hear them on and off all night. All in all it out performed expectations.

Cons: The room was not cleaned properly. There was hair on the floor and in the sink. The coffee was not stocked/replenished from the previous guest. There were leftovers in the refrigerator and trash stuffed behind the TV. There was also “biological debris” (boogers) on the light above the bathroom mirror.

Cons: I booked a king but got a room with two twins (or two EXTREMELY small queens), bathroom wasn't very clean and bed and pillows were not very comfortable.

Cons: Stayed a night on the 17th floor, the elevator sound was very loud through out the day and night. I couldn't fall asleep at all.

Cons: 1/ Parking was a joke: expensive, very poorly laid out, difficult to find the way out and the way in. 2/ I found that $20 for a continental breakfast left me inclined to eat more than normal in an attempt to get my money's worth.

Cons: Restauarnt tawdry: all furniture worn/torn, seriously in need of refurbishment. Security panels on doors and high-pressure door closers give impression of ongoing issues re security - perhaps unwarranted, but questionable.

Cons: The $18 dollar charge for parking is excessive. Restaurant patrons park for free why not hotel guests?

Cons: The hotel is not called Pacific Gateway...its called Delta...leads to massive confusion

Cons: Hotel was older and in need of update. Room had an odd cigarette like odor. Staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Cons: My room heat was broken and it was too late to move, too late to have a maintenance guy come up so I just asked for some extra blankets, which were delivered. When I complained in the morning upon check-out, I was disappointed to have not been offered anything other than a brief sorry by the person checking me out. As I had a plane to catch, I didn't have time to take it further, but it honestly didn't even look like it was recorded for later inspection. I"m sorry for the next person in the room!

Cons: The store in the hotel was not connected to be able to charge something to your hotel room.

Cons: For the price expected breakfast to be included. At least would have expected complimentary tea and coffee, which we had to pay for before we left for our flight in the am.

Cons: It is like the hotel is taunting you. :) You can see it from a mile away, but you go through some braided ramps to get there as you cross the river. Miss one easy to miss ramp and you have to turn around and try again.
