Well situated close to the Naka Meguro station and at walking distance of Shibuya. The room was huge compared to the other rooms we stayed in Tokyo. There was even a sofa. Well equipped with a kitchen. The staff was really helpful. The breakfast was basic with only some coffee, yogurt and croissant, but it was included in the price, as well as some light dinner (tough available every day). We didn't try the hot bath and sauna as it was only for men!
The hotel is situated 20 mins walking distance from Nakameguro metro station. You can also take a bus to Shibuya. The bus stop is a short walking distance from the hotel. Breakfast and light dinner is served. Free internet connection provided. It's situated in a quiet area and suitable for family with children. Grocery store is available nearby too.Our kids loved the hotel.
It had a very close general store with everything like a supermarket and department store combined, the train station was 5mins away to get you to Shibuya and there a quite a few restaurants locally to eat. Size of the bathroom was small, but for what you pay being a budget hotel I wouldn't complain though.
good homely and welcoming feel. nothing luxurious, but comfortable and clean. would stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling to tokyo on a tighter budget. perfect location.
Nice staff. Clean room. nothing spesial.
(stayed in a double Japanese style room). I liked this hotel. It's an authentic budget style hotel. Service is minimal (no food service), but polite. The rooms are basic, but clean, and quite pleasant. The room on the first night was a little noisy, but they let me move to another room next day.
Staff was nice, they try very hard to acccomodate you, made my stay very easy Need to know some japanese to communicate
staff were friendly and good value for money no complaints
Not much Stayed in traditional room. Bedding was foam matress - uncomfortable. Bathroom was small. There was no cupboard or wadrobe in the room. There was no chair, stool or desk in the room. I would not stay there again. There was no power point in the bathroom. Girl friend not happy.
It was affordable and within walking distance of Shibuya station.
My main reason for choosing Fukudaya was the feeling of home but not solely a place for me to rest. I really love the staffs there, especially the granny :> she's so lovely! Most of the staffs there are able to communicate in English or even Mandarin. I don't really like the scent in the room :/ that's my personal opinion.
Service in Japan is always very good. This includes the price. I only stayed 1 night.
