The owner who was very helpful and pleasant. The location was peaceful but convenient and close to the caldera. The room was spotless and well appointed.
lovely place to stay Not easy to find the villas in the frist time
everything is perfect it is a little far from the bus station, but it is not far from the fira city center
The staff and owners were very helpful and did all they could to ensure our stay was pl;easant
the room is so so so beautiful and the host is quite kind person. the hotel is located in a very quiet place but just 15 minutes walk to Fira city center. it will be so wonderful to live in this hotel.
Friendliness of the hotel staff, and cleaness. Nice breakfast
The Villas were family run and for the money we paid I thought it was excellent value. I little way out of main town but within walking distance of about 10 minutes. If you have a moped or quad bike its with 3 minutes Not the hotel only real bug bear was the building site that was going on next door. No mention of this on your site or from the villa owner. Still it was good value for money as the owners made us most welcome.
5 minutes far from centre of Fira, nice decoration!staff was very friendly and helpfull!
great service, friendly people, felt at home
In Summer Time Hotel I like the most the helpfull staff, the modern decoration of the room, the clleanliness of the room and its location clode to all things needed like bus sto, supermarket, taxi station, night clubs, restaurants, fast food, travel angencies and all these a capital offers. I surely recommend this hotel either for family vations or for friends vacations.
very friendly staff, always smiling and very happy to help when needed :)
The location (2 mins walk from the main square in Fira) was great! The room was basic but cosy and had a nice feel to it. The staff was lovely! Also the free wi-fi was a nice thing, even 4* hotels in Greece don't always provide this. At the price we got it for it was an absolute bargain.
Wonderful hotel staff. Great location...lovely jacuzzi. Would definately stay here again.
This hotel was excellent! Great location, helpful staff and very relaxing by the pool. Most important to know are directions as website is not accurate and no pick up from airport or ferry offered. Walk up the pedestrian street (Main St) over the cobble stones and walk up the hill about 600m, walk past Hertz and turn left just after Sun Sand & Sports and you will see the hotel. There are no signs and most locals don't know where it is.
The staff was always extremely helpful and friendly. Wonderful and sweet location. Everything nice and clean. Site is located in the centre of Fira but still really quiet. A place to relax.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the Fira location was convenient. The hotel, an updated former mansion, was very charming. The view is not that spectacular since the hotel is not at the edge of the cliff and is surrounded by other buildings. I would have preferred a view that shows more of the sea and volcano.
The staff are very professional and work hard to please their clients. We loved the proximity of the hotel to everything we wanted to see in downtown Fira, the suggestions made by Ana the manager, and the handling of the overbooking issue. For the question about the usefulness of the reviews, there are not any displayed yet.
The staffs are very nice. we loved the environment. and it is close to the Fira center, just few walking time. lovely hotel!!!!
It was a quiet hotel, with friendly staff and generally good service. A perfect place to escape from the world. I had to ask for the bed linen to be changed on one day.
Location, location, location... Curtains too thin, bathroom less lights, a/c behind the curtains, bed could have been bigger in size.
Central location, clean, nice staff and hotel.
Super place to stay in Fira. Location is fantastic and plenty of room. A quiet place in the centre of town. Htel staff go out of their way to make you feel special..
Aria Lito was a lovely place that provided the perfect atmosphere for our stay. The staff were excellent and went out of their way to help.
The building was beautiful, we had a huge terrace with a view, and a table and chairs. There was a swimmingpool ( a bit hidden though). The room was nice, with air conditioning ( very useful there!!).The neighbourhood was very quiet. The bathroom was a bit small to be confortable.
The location was ok, very close to centre of Fira. The wardrobe stank, the toilet seat was broken, reception was closed from 1400 to 1700 (without prior notice - we had to wait 2h30 on the day of arrival). Staff was friendly but not hardworking.
The terrace- aerated, big enough, with one marble table. We didn't fiind glasses in our room!!!! I drank water from the tooth-brushes-glass!!!!! And for my husband,I cut a plastic bottle!!!! The bath-room so small, when I used the w.c,was possible only with my feet in bathtub...and my head.....in the sink...
Villa Soula in Santorini was a good choice mainly because of its central position in Fira. It is just a couple of minutes walk from the centre. The rooms were quite spacious and had good furniture and facilities. Good breakfast as well. Something that I thought could be introduced is a 24 hour front desk.
The cleaning lady did not speak any English, (and she ran the hotel most of the day) but she was wonderful, helpful and polite. They charge you for expenses you do not make. There are several other hotels nearby that are better and cheaper. Look around!
Personell was great, very helpful. My 1:30am arrival was no problem even though the reception was closed.
The hotel was okay but you need to make sure they won't transfer you. They transferred me to what they said was their family's hotel on my third night because they had overbooked. One of the male proprietors tried to enter my room during the afternoon, and the family walked by my window a lot. The room overlooked local homes and was less comfortable. Yet the third night was at the same rate as the third.
The room was clean, had everything we needed, and the staff was very helpful; they even gave us a ride to the airport.
The staff was AWESOME! Very helpful and sweet. We had a 6 month old baby with us and we felt absolutely comfortable here. The room was lovely. Not luxurious, but perfectly simple. The bathroom was a little cramped, but it didn't bother us too much!
Clean room. Staff very friendly and helpful. English well spoken. Nice pool. Good A/C. Close to main tourist area, just a 3 minute walk. Off the main road, so no car noise. Bathroom very small. Toilet almost in shower.
Location is good. Good value for money Noise into the room from other parts of the house
staff were lovely and the setting and views were stunning could not get internet access in our room
Convenient location if you want to be central to Fira (not the nicest place on the island though!) We were upgraded and treated v well. Fantastic view and pool It's a bit too in the middle of it all to feel really relaxing. It's all very luxurious, but there's something of a soul missing from it (as with many of the 'luxury' hotels in Santorini
This is an awesome hotel, we were greeted upon entrance with champagne and friendly staff. The host has many recommendations for entertainment and restaurants! And of course the pool is one of the best places to sit and relax in all of Santorini! Thanks to everyone at the Cosmo for a great stay.
The position of the hotel, amazing... and not many steps for Santorini as my husband has knee problems Did not have a private balcony, our room was next to reception, a bit noisey in morning with staff walking past talking.
The location and the view of the vulcano from their pool was spectacular. The personal of the hotel was very friendly and tried to do their best for a pleasant stay. First, our reservation overlaped with other reservation so in the last two nights they had to move us to another hotel. The good part was that the second hotel was nicer, at least the room and the service was amazing, just that it was located in Oia. So at the end we were happy after this incident. Another issue that we had was that at Cosmopolitan hotel we reserved a standard room, and it was sooo small that u couldn´t even move ( around 12m 2 all room with bathroom). In the first night I fell that I don´t have enough air in the room, but at the end I got used with it. So if u truly want to enjoy ur stay book a suite.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the views from the pool area are stunning and you are right in the centre of town, but still away from the hustle and bustle.
great owners- dina and giorgio. very friendly. right in the middle of everything! nope.
We had wonderful time staying at San Giorgio. The rooms were clean with comfortable bed. The best part is the location, right in the centre of Fira. George was such such a big help during our short stay, guiding us to the best spots in Santorini. i certainly recommend this place to young crowd to be able to party around till late in the night and find your way back in the early hours not too far off. the shower curtains in the bathroom.
Friendliness and helpfulness of staff - and the free wifi
1)The amability of George and Angelo, they pick you up (free of charge) from the port upon arrival and take you there when needed. Also providing you with all kind of useful information about the island and all the tourist options there. 2) Very cozy room and hotel environment; very nice swimming pool and solarium 3) Free WIFI access and there are also 2 laptops available at the lobby to be used by the guests. Great initiative! 4)The location in the very centre of Fira but far enough from the noisy area; perfect location!! 5) The price/quality relation, especially in low cost season Bathroom could be improved by installing a bigger shower with shower screen instead of curtain
Friendly staff was very helpful getting us around the island, would even offer to drive me and my friends for free instead of getting a cab.
Location is great, price is right and the staff provided a lot of good recommendations and local knowledge, Not for the price of the stay.
Hotel is located in an ideal location just in the heart of the town. George and his staff were very helpful and warm-hearted with all the information we need of Santorini. Bathroom was tiny and lighting during the day was too dark.
Every thing in the city was very accessable The showers were a little difficult, and our toilet kept breaking.
Perfect location and really friendly staff! The view :(
George and Dina are the friendliest of hotel operators I have ever met! George even waited for me for 2 hours at the port for my arrival, even more so, at odd hours of 2:30-4:30 am! Even George was busy during my departure, he took the trouble to arrange for my transport to the airport for an early morning flight, and it was for free!
Hotel + location Getting to the hotel, was just he hardest part.. So many stairs..
The absolute best service .The manager Stefano, the assistant manager Nassos, the cleaning lady, the bar tender they all were great. The personnel were trained to do the best for the guest.and they did.,..
Beautiful hotel. It was off-season so we were upgraded to a two-bedroom suite. Beware, one must be able to do stairs to get up and down to breakfast. The small pool downstairs was open, but the pool on the top floor was closed for the season.
The view of the volcano is spectacular. Location in the heart of Fira is excellent.
Location is good for all the shops and restaurants in Fira. View was ok but not the best. Not exactly a luxury hotel. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Balcony area smells like donkeys because of the abandoned plot next to the hotel.
great location and value for money
Value for money Simple facilities
great value for money, spacious room with balcony, close to town, bus station & caldera, free pick-up from port Pool area is very small, in shade for most of the day & some distance from rooftop terrace. No shower curtain makes for a very wet bathroom!
Great location and having a pool was an added bonus. Contrary to what is written they dont have credit card facilities. Our 'balcony' was a private alleyway with a view of a 4m high wall. We asked the proprieter to book a taxi to the airport for us then found out it wasn't a yellow taxi but another costing twice the regular price. I suspect the taxi owner was a relative. These were only minor annoyances.
No window, air condicrioner didn't work. No window in bedroom.
Close to town and a nice little pool.
Close enough to the center of Fira Its price and personnel
The location is great very close to town but away from the crowds, the swimming pool and the reception are ok.
The big room.
very close to city center(fira) very noisy, poor breakfast
We like the position of our hotel because it is near center of Thira, whitch is center of all island Santorini, and near bus station and rent a scooter/quad/car. We did not like the very poor breakfast. 1 kind of salami, 1 kind of cheese, 1 kind of butter, 1 kind of mermelade and 2 kind of cereals. That is all you get and in small quantities.
Nothing. Apart from being assigned a room next to the kitchen & being located in the reception area, it was a nightmare. The son of the owner kept my passport until the last second & there were yellow crusty stains on the blankets. The sheets provided on the bed were already dirty upon arrival. Breakfast was served directly outside my door.
pool, quiteness, price breakfast was very poor, just bread, cheese and jam and ended at 10AM. Overall i think most things in Santorini are overpriced, though Villa Popi was a good option if you are looking for a budget hotel.
The pool was nice and the view of the sunrise was also nice. The bathroom was poor, and the toilet didn't work most of the time. There was not power or water the last day. Checking in and out of the hotel was very time consuming. We were originally told our room would be ready at 10 AM then we were told it would be ready at noon, then we were told it would be ready in 10 minutes for about 2 hours. Checking out was also time consumeing.
