OK

Almost 1 hour to check in and no apologies. The bathroom door accidently locked and took 40 minutes to send someone. Also when we went for breakfast my partner was told no slippers permitted. As a lifetime platinum member of Starwood I would suggest management needs a complete overhaul of staff and learn common courtesy. All in all I would never refer anyone to this or any Mandarin property.

the location. the rooms are very tired, even at the exorbitant rate of sgd380++ a night! i think had we booked through the hotel direct, it would have been cheaper as well since the walk-in rate for a better room (premier) was only sgd20 dollars difference!

Good

The complimentary upgrade and the breakfast buffet. The room is spacious and the bed is quite big Some guests did not adhere to the non smoking rules and it is really quite uncomfortable but overall is a comfortable stay for us.

Location Location Location Nice friendly staff rooms a bit larger than normal for this price But warning the smoking floors were too much even for a smoker. The smell/smoke of kreteks (clove cigarettes) wafted into our room through the AC. So best to book a non smoking room.

Shopping at nearby store/mall and walking along the Orchard St specially at night. Probably the elevators because you need to transfer to another elevators to reach 5th to10th flr., however the hotel are very good in general. The location and staff are excellent.

The location is fantastic. All flagship shopping venues in Orchard are well within reach by walking. Room is excellent. Buffet breakfast was awesome! I would appreciate a slightly bigger room size.

Orchard Park Suites I would not recommend to anyone. Total rip off. Management very poor. Did not have facilities in room that had advertised. Would not discount or change room. Plus a leaking, stinking, blocked sink. Gas ran out. Poor service by management.

Very conveniently situated for access to the main shopping facilities on Orchard Road. A taxi rank outside the entrance. MRT station within 100 metres. All variety of eating places in abundance in all directions.... Additional charge (S$8-00) for use of washing machine & dryer. Breakfast in the lobby area was a bit of a scrummage & eating one's cereals in an easy chair from a small coffee table isn't the most comfortable way to start the day!

Location was good. Would use it more if the price is competitive. Check out time should be extended if room is available due to flight timings. Soap in the bathroom was not changed/replaced. Stayed for 6 nights but got new soaps only 2 times.

Great staff and service. Everyone was friendly and helpful, no matter what area of the hotel. We had no wifi in our room the first day, and the front desk promptly came through with a wireless mobile 4G router, solving the problem. We arrived at the second floor breakfast buffet on our first morning, and the door staff said it was pretty crowded and noisy, so why don't we try the executive lounge on the third floor? Which was a great idea. The hotel was surprisingly upscale for a Holiday Inn. We booked it, feeling like cheapo lowbrow travelers, but when we arrived, we felt like VIPs. The hotel gave us a "handy" device, a phone with data that we carried around town, which was a HUGE convenience. I think the sauna didn't get hot enough. And....I'm coming up blank for other negatives. It's a great hotel!

Friendly & helpful staff. Great location for shopping (right next to Orchard Road) & eating places. Clean & comfortable rooms. There seemed to be only two breakfast buffet selections served. It was alternating every other day. We noticed this as we had the buffet everyday during our 4-day stay.

I stayed in an Executive room and found the executive check-in very good and the executive lounge was also very useful and pleasant. Of course breakfast was included in the price, which was also well presented and very good. The hotel has obviously been there for a very long time and although very well situated for Orchard Road and the business district, it is starting to look very tired and in need of a complete makeover or refurbishment. It’s still comfortable, but is in need of a makeover. I found that the internet charges were far too high and given it was an executive room, I feel the internet charges should have been much less or even free.

Excellent

The. Location off Orchard Rd was very good. Close to MRT Staff were very professional and helpful. Excellent breakfast every morning. Hotel did not have a fitness center and was located across street from a Mosque. Each morning around 7:30 was a call to worship for 15 minutes. Noisy!
