The grounds are lovely. My room was fine but nothing special. I dislike that they charge for coffee in the morning and for parking.

Pros (+) It was the closest hotel to where I needed to get every morning. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Good food nearby, but Humphrey's seemed way too expensive even with the discount I was offered and with the fact that I was going to get reimbursed for it. Just couldn't justify going there. The staff was very kind and I appreciated the "Go Green" points.
Cons (-) The shower wasn't working great. It was hard to turn on and off. It didn't necessarily feel like the cleanest place. I've been inside other Sheraton locations and they were better. (like the Sheraton in Seattle) I would prefer to pay less and just have one bed. Felt unnecessary to have two for just myself.
Pros (+) Great convenient location off the freeway, but generally quiet. Nice grounds, restaurant and bar just fine. Older property but pretty well maintained with nice landscaping. Easy in and out. Price is reasonable and perfect for general business and leisure stays.
Cons (-) Not the place for flashy La Jolla style or the middle of the village or coast views. Small bathrooms.
