Pros: Front desk staff was wonderful -- rooms were comfortable.
Cons: Horrible service in restaurant ( being a single female travel likely contributed to this); room was very poorly insulated re:noise. Heard everything all night.
Conveniently located in the heart of Brussels' city center, Rocco Forte Hotel Amigo is adjacent to the La Grande Place and near the city's financial district. Central Station is 500 meters from the hotel.
Pros: Great location. Helpful and friendly staff. Our room was spacious and comfortable.
Cons: The only negative is breakfast is not included. One can choose to pay €27 per person, a hefty price for eggs & toast.
Pros: This hotel was absolutely amazing! My husband and I were road tripping through Europe and stopped in Brussels on a whim. This hotel and city ended up being our absolute favorite. It is a beautiful hotel, with excellent staff, and the facilities are great. We can't wait to travel back and stay at the Dominican again.
Located in the city center, this chic Brussels hotel is just a five-minute walk from the Grand Place and Cathédrale des Sts-Michel-et-Gudule. The Royal Museums of Fine Arts are 0.9 km (0.5 mi) away.
Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of three nights at the Stanhope. It was a convenient location for walking Brussels, and enhanced time there. The staff was great and accomodating of our needs. We loved our room which was spacious and nicely appointed.
Cons: The only semi-negative thing I can say, is that the bed was quite soft, which was not good for someone with a bad back like me. Also, we asked to have some food heated up, and they said that they would send someone to take care of this for us. They forgot, and we had to call a second time.
Cons: Staff was not helpful, beds were old and not comfortable at all (had two rooms to try since the first one had brown water in the bathroom since it wasn't used for a long time).
Pros: Hotel facilities detail has incorrect information.
According to detail when I book room,
Wifi is available with additional fee (6.95 per day).
However not only wifi, internet connection (LAN) was need additional fee.
If I've known LAN connection was not including room charge, I was not book this hotel.
This is totally incorrect information.
Cons: Hotel must disclose not just wifi, even LAN connection require additional cost.
If this was on hotel detail, I NEVER HAVE BOOKED THIS HOTEL.
Set in a former 19th-century townhouse, the Stanhope Hotel in central Brussels, Belgium, is 3 blocks from the Royal Palace, the European Parliament and the greenery of Parc du Bruxelles. The British-inspired hotel is within.9 miles (1.5 kilometers) of the Grand Place square and boutique-lined Avenue Louise. The Trone Metro Station is a 4-minute walk away and Brussels Airport (BRU) is 9.3 miles (15 kilometres) away.
Classical music plays in the lobby, which recalls historic England with its white columns, sleek floral drapes, palms, and royal busts. Inspired by the Royal Pavilion's banqueting hall in Brighton, Restaurant Brighton is decorated with Asian murals, chandeliers, and fluted columns. Overlooking an ivy-clad courtyard with a pond, the restaurant serves a buffet breakfast, served on weekdays from 7 AM-10 AM and 7:30 AM-noon on weekends, and modern European cuisine for lunch and dinner. Leather chairs flank the fireplace in the polished-oak Library Bar. It serves tea, coffee, drinks, and Belgian beers.
The Stanhope Hotel's 9 conference rooms and other public areas offer complimentary WiFi. Computers in the lobby offer complimentary wired Internet access. The 24-hour fitness center has a gym equipped with weights and cardiovascular machines, a solarium, and a 5-person sauna. Massages are available onsite upon request.
The Stanhope Hotel's 125 air-conditioned guestrooms are decorated in soft creams and pillar-box reds. Rooms feature antique paintings, gilt mirrors, and patterned fabrics. Guests enjoy free Wifi. Rooms also provide digital television, safes, and minibars. Marble bathrooms have telephones, complimentary toiletries, bathrobes, and slippers. Guests are also welcome to store their valuables in the in-room safes.
Cons: Couldn't sleep because of poor noise isolation of room over street
Pros: Location and staff weRe great.
Cons: I was on the second floor and there must be a club directly underneath. I couldn't sleep because the music was throbbing through the room. I had to be up at 5 am so this was disastrous. Not good at all. Not worth it at all.
Pros: I thought the entire staff including housekeeping was very friendly, helpful, courteous, efficient in trying to meet our needs. I had to deal with management couple of times and Dimitros was just great!
Location is excellent, rooms are well lite with all the amenities. I like the idea that every floor is different in color and décor. Also many rooms are not the same. I like the state of the art security system and privacy with the room keys and not being able to access another floor w/your room key. Rooms are comfortable not like some hotel rooms that are very small and crowed.
Cons: I think on the daily basis they should make a slight change in their menu for the buffet breakfast. Everyday it was exactly the same. Breakfast is open 6:15 and they should be ready at 6:15, the hot food was not ready till 6:40, chef was still preparing.
I was with a Globus tour in Amsterdam, Luxemburg and the 2 hotels there had a slight change in their menu.
Radisson should get a sophisticated coffee machine so people can help themselves that way you don't have to ask them for coffee and it would help a busy day.
It was very chaotic, short of staff several days in the breakfast restaurant, , everybody was running around then accidents occurred spilling coffee, crashing plates. Tables were not cleaned off so it was difficult to find a table. I understand that at times understaffing occurs, I think days like this they should have a sign Please wait to be seated, so they could get a table ready for the amt. of customers to be seated. As people were let in freely, we're looking for a clean table and it was difficult to find one so I landed up cleaning my table plus got my own coffee. I felt it was ok to help out a little bit.
They have a ledge anywhere from 2 1/2-3 inches high before going into the bathroom which doesn't make sense why they have it, it serves no purpose and certainly does not help the décor. I think it is very dangerous especially at night. I kicked it on the first day 3 times and then I put a colorful luggage strap on the floor and left the light on.
2 other couples stumbled on it, laid a towel to even it out, taped some paper across as a reminder that the ledge was there.
Cons: Great location
Pros: Its nice clean and in a good location
Cons: I arrived at 13:46 and I was told that check in starts at 15:00 so I was given the room as a favour
Thats the feeling I got
Ideally located in the heart of cultural and historic Brussels, near main shopping area. New art deco styled hotel with 4 room styles, 24 hr room service, 3 restaurants, fitness center, concierge, and indoor parking. 2016/2017 TripAdvisor Hall of Fame-Certificate of Excellence
Pros: This hotel has mini-suites, which are spacious for Europe. It was clean, right on a cute square with a lot of restaurants, next to The Farm Store for inexpensive fresh goods, and the Metro stop is right in front of it. It is only a short walk to the main squares, but it was quiet enough to relax away from the mayhem.
This family-friendly Brussels aparthotel is located in the historical district, within a 15-minute walk of Place Saint Catherine, La Grand Place, and Belgian Comic Strip Center. Cathedral of St. Michael and Manneken Pis Statue are also within 15 minutes.
Pros: The location is awesome. Very close to the train station. Staff was helpful and friendly. No complaints.
It was a perfect location for two young babies. On a Saturday and Sunday, not too much is open around the hotel, but a 5 minute bus ride took us straight to Sablon within 10 minutes. Also, the Park de Brussels is a lovely place to walk around on the way to the center (which is a 20 minute walk from the hotel). The hotel was very baby-friendly, which was helpful. Room was large and the hotel staff was quick to provide us with two cribs, extra pillows, extra towels, etc... There's a nice little Turkish kebab shop across the street - great for a quick meal to take back up to the room. Bus stop is half a block away and the buses come through frequently. I will definitely be staying at this hotel again the next time my family and I are traveling through Brussels!
Pros: Nice, quiet location (over the weekend). The staff was very friendly, very helpful and extremely accommodating. A special thank you to Anne - she saw we had two young babies and made sure we were able to check in very early.
Cons: The shower in the room didn't drain too well. The positive definitely outweigh this single negative.
Pros: Location and the breakfast buffet.
Cons: Seemed a bit tired and much much smaller than portrayed in the photographs. Also, they had reservation issues at checkin and elevator issues during our entire stay. And the bellman wasn't helpful and downright antagonistic at times.
Pros: The rooms are modern and decorated at a good standard. The staff in the reception are courteous and helpful.
Cons: There are no rooms for smokers. High speed internet is slow.

Pros: Location is super.

Cons: Parking is not free and expensive and not convenient
Pros: Location is good.
Cons: Building is too old.

Pros: Cool lobby, good breakfast and friendly staff.
Cons: Fifth floor room a bit odd. I had to hike up to my room via a very dark and narrow staircase. Please increase the lighting behind the door!

Pros: I thought the breakfast was nice, and the beds were comfortable.
Cons: I had to ask to switch my room twice as I found the rooms depressing and not light or big enough. The room temperature was very cold and I had to ask for a space heater. I found some concierges helpful; others not. The food in their restaurant was not good and I had an issue with something I ordered. I also wished they had made laundry service available. The lobby is very cold and shuts down early, and there is no where to have a drink, read and relax. The bathroom smelled very funny, and I could not get them to fix this. I also received no offer of help with my luggage when I called down to say I was checking out. Overall, this hotel needs updating and to be much more cozy, light and guest friendly. There is a lot they could do to improve.
Pros: Staff was very helpful and professional.
Cons: My experience was exceptional. Everything met expectations.
Cons: Wifi was spotty - signal was fine in the bathroom, but not on the bed. Absolutely nothing else to complain about, though.
Grand not only in name but also in comfort, style and location, the Royal Windsor Hotel Grand Place has become the premier hotel amongst refined Belgian visitors. By blending classic charm with luxury amenities that are expected from a Warwick Hotel, guests are treated to the feel of Old World elegance with the added convenience of modern accommodations. The Grand Place, Le Square Convention Centre and Manneken Pis are all but a stone’s throw from the hotel’s doorstep, putting guests in the centre of Belgium’s awe-inspiring architecture and welcoming culture. Whether meeting for important business gatherings or a sumptuous Belgian weekend, it’s all here. Welcome to the Royal Windsor Hotel Grand Place.
Pros: The room was very spacious and the hotel is bright, modern, and clean. Good price but mainly made up of business travelers (we were on our honeymoon). Didn't try the restaurant/bar (Smoods) on the first floor because the priced seemed absurdly high.
Would be great for a longer term business stay because of the separate desk area in the room.
Cons: Not much negative to say. The location is a bit of a hike from the tourist hotspots like the Grand Place. It's close to the Botanique metro station which was convenient but it would have been nicer to have a quicker walk to the city center instead. If you do walk to the city center from the hotel, make sure to walk through the gardens and then down Rue Neuve - it's much nicer than walking between all of the business buildings.
Pros: The room is big for the price we paid. The bar downstairs was nice and the bartenders were friendly and even made us specialty drinks that weren't on the menu
Cons: We got to the room late in the evening, the receptionist gave us our room key. When we got to our room, our key didn't work. This happens sometimes so we weren't too upset. I came back downstairs and told another guy at the desk that we had just arrived and that our key didn't work. He fixed it and apologized, we headed to our room. When we opened the door, a woman shot up out of bed and asked "who's there". I felt terrible. Tried to apologize quickly as I spun out the door. I went back down to the desk and the people working had figured out what happened because the lady I walked in on called the front before we got down. They gave a voucher for 1 free glass of wine or beer and gave us the new key and apologized once more. When I turned to walk away, I realized that the same room that we just interrupted that woman in was still written on the key holder card. I turned and told him "this the same room we just came from". He said "oh, oh, I'm sorry." And gave me the right number. But he almost sent us back to the wrong room a third time. All kinds of other things went wrong while we were there. Loud construction RIGHT outside our window at 6am every morning. We were told we would get a five dollar voucher for the bar for every morning we didn't get our room cleaned and we never got it. 4 days in a row, we didn't want our room cleaned. We didn't care about the voucher, but when we went to the desk to ask for an extra bottle of water for our room (which comes with a free bottle of still water and sparkling every morning if you get it cleaned) the desk attendant said we couldn't have free water if our room hadn't been serviced. But when I mentioned that we never received our vouchers, there was some reason we couldn't get that either. I was so frustrated from no sleep from the construction and all the other issues (many of them too small of importance but also too many to list) that I stopped listening to their reasoning. I had decided that I'll never stay at this hotel again. Which is unfortunate because I had stayed there one night last time I was in Belgium. I didn't have much interaction with the staff as it was another late night. I just needed a bed for the evening. My only complaint was the location was kind of inconvenient but after this experience, i realized the problems are far worse than the location
Pros: We liked the art work in the room and the TV prompter for information
Cons: The staff was really rude when we were checking out. There was a problem with an overcharged credit card and they made it to seem like it was our fault and took forever to fix it. Also the location was close to a bad neighborhood and it was really far from the city center
Pros: Great breakfast simple fresh room decor
Cons: Hotel will not loan adapter most basic thing in most hotel bug charged almost 10€ for one.
Stayed with other hotels in area none does this

Pros: The staff were friendly & eager to provide advice regarding places to visit, things to do, etc. Room was very nice & very clean. Breakfast was wonderful & had something for everyone...a lot of variety. We really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: Loved that it's close to airport, but it was a little difficult to get to even using gps.
Cons: reserved for 3 people. amenities (bottled water/chocolate) for 1 was supplied. 28 euros for parking was ridiculous
Pros: The hotel is conveniently located near Brussels airport. I stayed for one night waiting for my flight out of BRU. Overall it's a well-maintained property with spacious rooms and a very nice fitness center.
Cons: I stayed on a Saturday night. It turns out that the hotel restaurant is closed on weekends. I either had to go to downtown Brussels (a 30 min commute) or order room service. I opted for the latter, which wasn't bad at all but I would have preferred to eat at the restaurant.
There is also no shuttle to the airport on weekends. If you are an airport hotel, you should provide shuttle to the airport 24/7.

Staff very helpful. Recommended not to park on street and referred me to underground parking - which was a very good idea. Hotel not in the best part of town. Room was well soundproofed, as there was a party going on 2 doors down and did not hear it at all.
Pros: Security - needed door pass for elevator, doors and lights. Good room if on a budget
Cons: Main floor bathroom not well kept on day of our visit

Pros: It was a very nice hotel. Very close to the train.
Pros: The front desk was very helpful.
Cons: It was loud during the night. Difficult to sleep. Also, construction all around building.
Cons: I got wrong information from your staff and I booked 2 different rooms from priceline.com for me and a colleague. I usually pay the room(s) at departure from the hotel. Here, the 2 rooms had been charged and prepaid without notice on my own card !
