Pros (+) The two gentleman working when we checked in were both very nice and helpful. Also, the location is within walking distance to Shelter Island. Unfortunately those are the only positive things I can say about the hotel.
Cons (-) The walls, door jams, and bathroom floor in the room were filthy and there were several flies and gnats flying around the room. The mattress felt like a rock and there were two large burn holes in the bedspread. I felt dirty just being in the room and cancelled my reservation immediately. Also, there were only about 15 underground parking spots reserved for guests and other than that you have to g...

Pros (+) Covered underground parking. Close to grocery store and fast food. Comfortable bed. Clean room.

Cons (-) The fridge, bathroom fan, and one of the lights did not work. There was a lot of construction next door so it was very noisy. Not the best location but everything is within a short driving distance.

Pros (+) Seemed the hotel has been recently renovated. No odd smells, pleasant folks. Clean rooms no flourishings. Great price.
