Alejandro I Hotel - Salta - Building
2
9.2 Excellent (3,268 reviews)
AED 371+
Overview Reviews
Located in Salta, Alejandro I Hotel is within a 5-minute walk of Cathedral of Salta and Alta Montana Archaeological Museum (MAAM). Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: They had three elevators and it seemed like magic that one was always available very quickly. Many hotels this size only have two elevators and they're never there when you need them, but at the Alejandro Primero they got it right. The rooms were spacious, the bathrooms, too, the bedroom window could be opened so you could get fresh air, but the AC was also very efficient and not loud. The power sockets took Argentinean and European and NZ/OZ plugs, UK and US visitors would need an adaptor, the beds were comfortable - in short they had the perfect rooms.
Cons: Breakfast was actually the only thing at the hotel that was sub-standard. It was as if they'd outsourced breakfast to a one-star hotel. While fruit was nice and plentiful, the rest was totally unimaginative, starting with those terrible scrambled eggs that many hotels are offering and have the audacity to call eggs. Just because it's yellow and parked next to the bacon doesn't make that gooey stuff eggs... So you order fried eggs and beat the system - but the next day you want to order fried eggs again, they suddenly tell you that you have to pay for them. So you skip that and limit yourself to the boring bread and boring cold cuts and boring cheese and leave the breakfast room totally dissatisfied... And all of this feels especially bad, because the rest of the hotel is so good. They really need to get this right, especially since they are said to be Salta's best hotel. Their crummy breakfast totally harms that reputation.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice location, swimming pool, jaccuzi, sauna...
Cons: Breakfast was poor
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is well placed and central. The staff were very helpful and were in the main English speaking which helped me. There was a wide choice for breakfast and the coffee was not bad! The resturant was very good indeed and excellent value for a hotel. Bedrooms are a good size and serviced very well. A really good all round hotel for a stay in Salta!
Cons: There was nothing to dislike which is good!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice 5 star hotel near the plaza.
Cons: The buffet breakfast was good, but things ran out and it took time to replace them, so you wait.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was incredible, and the location is perfect
Cons: The pool, is not bad, but I prefer the outdoor pools .
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious rooms and courteous staff - unfortunately we were only staying one night but wish it was more. The breakfast was a lovely buffet with many choices. I'd definitely stay again.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: One o the most beautiful hotel we have been to! Everything is just perfect. Confort of the rooms, kindness of the staff, food (we loved the dinners there and not having to go anywhere), the garden, the pool. Fantastic option when in Salta.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful dinner. Very comfortable room. Small but nice pool. Relaxing ambiance. Great to spend one night.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed in the suite on the 1st floor (no elevator, only 1 stair). Just for 1 night, but would have loved to stay another day. It's a beautiful and charming place, great view onto the garden and the mountains, swimmingpool, and with a warm welcome from the staff. Our suite had a private terrace, where we enjoyed a good glass of wine and some snacks after a day of traveling. Bed, shower and bathroom great. And dinner and breakfast also . It's a bit out of Salta town, so it is best to have a car or, as in our case, being picked up the next day for our travel in the region.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Relaxing, beautiful and quality stay - food was delicious, staff helpful and all together a lovely stay. We stayed 4 adults and 2 children.

House of Jasmines - Salta - Building
5
9.2 Excellent (286 reviews)
AED 848+
Overview Reviews
Located in Salta, House of Jasmines is in a rural location, within a 15-minute drive of Valle de Lerma and Padre Ernesto Martearena Stadium. Featured amenities include a computer station, express check-in, and express check-out. Free valet parking is available onsite.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The views and physical grounds
Cons: Truly awful and overpriced food and lodging. The pool was never cleaned/full of bugs. 6 recliners for a hotel that holds up to 40 people. While the staff was polite, if you want any type of food/drink service by the pool, you need to go into the building to request it. You only need 2 nights max in Salta. Do not recommend this place unless you want to be overcharged. Unfortunately there aren’t many (any?) luxury lodging choices in Salta
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Food was pretty mediocre
9.0 Excellent
Pros: A fantastic place in the middle of the countryside, decorated with an excellent taste. You feel like if you were at home. Heated pool which it's fantastic because you can swim all the year.
Cons: The place is beautiful but the outside was not so well maintained for a so charming place. There were weeds on the terraces, the pool was not perfectly painted but it was probably because it's the beginning of the season.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful quiet countryside, perfect for a break from the city. Rooms beautifully designed and very comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Secluded, elegant, relaxing
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Place, staff, rooms, food, all impeccable.
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful place, esspecialy the garden. Great staff. Very good food.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful Estancia just outside Salta, very peaceful, beautiful room (once we upgraded to a junior suite). The location is fabulous if you’re looking to explore the beautiful surrounding area, the drive to Cafayate is spectacular and worth doing.
Cons: Service tended to be a bit slow but the real annoyance here are the lack of sunloungers and shade around the pool area, apart from that we had a great stay
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Totally magic place
10.0 Excellent
Pros: House of Jasmines is an estancia in the outskirts of Salta providing guests with peace and tranquility during their stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, speaking English, French and Spanish and maybe other languages that I am unaware of. Our suite was very comfortable, looking out over a beautiful garden setting. The king-size bed was also very comfortable. The meals and wine in the restaurant were excellent as was the service from the staff. During our 5-night stay, there was live music on 2 nights -Jazz and folkloric. We enjoyed a great massage with Rosia and Gloria in the Spa, which is well appointed and clean.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The area was quiet. There was a relaxing feel to the hotel and staff couldn’t do enough to help in any way. Our room had a view of the outside pool and mountains, a balcony overlooking and jacuzzi bath which I would recommend. Definitely stay again if in the area.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and cosy with local character. Great service.
Cons: The location is very quiet with nice Mountain views but is far from town which very much limits dinner options since there isn’t a restaurant on site.
6.3 Good
Pros: Nice and pretty room and comfortable bed and bathroom with jacuzzi. Personnel is kind.
Cons: - jacuzzi was dirty upon arival and we had to clean some kind of blood spots out of it before we could use it - in the middle of the night some guest was making trouble for hours and no one of the hotel/reception was there to do anything - we mentioned that we would go on a tour and would have breakfast at 7. The lady from the hotel didn’t arrive until 7:15 to start preparing the breakfast in the restaurant - we handed in laundry and got it returned with chlorid stains! When mentioning this they sort of said it couldn’t be their fault?!! T-shirts and boxer shorts that we had to toss out.. really a shame.
7.9 Good
Pros: the view for the city :) good breakfast quiet neighborhood it is 30min walk to center plaza - not so close but possible,
Cons: unclean pool, and lots of mosquitos on it :(
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms were comfortable, large and very clean. The hotel is located in a quiet, green neighborhood just outside the city.
Cons: I enjoyed everything. Only one small problem was someone forgot to send a taxi to meet me at the airport which we had confirmed in advance. I found a taxi easily but perhaps it’s good to reconfirm several times in advance if you request this service.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Loved the quirky features of the hotel and the decor with crafted pieces and furniture by local artisans. Lovely staff And in a nice quiet location.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff -- (which actually seems to be normal in Argentina -- people are very nice all over !!) Big , well equiped rooms, in a walking distance from town center & restaurants. Very good breakfast, fresh.
6.7 Good
Pros: Clean rooms, good location and very nice staff.
Cons: Room was hot and there was no ability to control the temperature as the thermostat was locked. Opening the window let in street noise which was very loud. Overall the hotel was quite dated. We took a look at the boutique hotel next door which was fantastic and not a lot more expensive. Total buyer’s remorse!
7.5 Good
Pros: Most of the people at front desk are charming and welcoming , with exceptions! Some of them solve your problems immediately others make things little complicate .
Cons: I invited a guess and he was told : can not go upstairs! At the end they registered him and let go up. This can be handle in a smooth and friendly way... I believe . I got stucked at the elevator ... nobody apologized for that, it was a scary few minutes thank God.

Pros: Beautiful room and facilities, incredibly clean, lovely outdoor garden, lovely helpful staff.
Cons: The only thing that could be improved is that it was very hot inside the room.

Pros: It was very clean and spacious. The owner was the highlight - he was always ready to help with a smile on his face. Oh and also the dogs - they were amazing!!!
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: • Such a friendly welcome. • Perfect advice about where to eat. • Good air con in room. • Large room with big vaulted ceiling. • Good coffee.
Cons: • The breakfast was cake or bread rolls with a couple of chutney/jam options. Perhaps there was more earlier in the day, but it was fairly basic options by the time we arrived for breakfast.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: I have stayed at Delvino before and always enjoy coming back when in Salta. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Facilities are cozy. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is great, a block from the train station and the peñas on calle Balcarce. The wine theme with small bodega and welcome drink is a nice detail.

Pros: It is a very good, clean and well located hotel (quite surrounding with a walking distance from the Centre). Refreshing pool really helps relaxing in hot days. And the breakfast is impressive!

Hotel Salta - Salta - Building

8.8 Excellent (1,190 reviews)
AED 275+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel Salta in Salta, you'll be just steps from San Francisco Church and Convent and 3 minutes by foot from Alta Montana Archaeological Museum (MAAM). Featured amenities include a computer station, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Central location next to the plaza. Friendly staff and there were also savoury options for breakfast instead of only sweets. Firm beds.
Cons: Bathroom is small but sufficient
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location 100% property style authentic and traditional. Great staff! Really! Say hi to Mathias in the restaurant bar! Try Carpano soda and fernet Branco! Very good reception and excellent baggage/doorman.
Cons: Only thing that bothered me was the smell in the room. I think it’s from the oil they use on the parquet floors. I got used to it.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was built in 1940s and is preserved with some modern modifications such as door locks cards now not traditional keys. Excellent location near central square, taxi stand at the door.
Cons: No major complaints
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice old Hotel right on the main square.
Cons: The scrambled eggs are utterly disgusting. They let them sit on the heated plate until they transform into alien green goo.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location couldn't be better right on Plaza 9 de Julio. Obviously a really historic building in Salta with a grand interior to match. Breakfast in the attached restaurant was very good.
Cons: Air conditioning in our room had a leak when turned on, given a new room but took a while. Gym needs a refurb.
6.0 Good
Cons: It's hard to understand how it's a 4 star. Their systems are very difficult and make simple tasks time consuming. I stayed there a week working remote and wish I had moved. For a pool towel you have to call house keeping to your room to deliver it during their hours. For laundry the same. You cannot drop laundry off at the reception, you cannot get pool towels at the pool or reception. You cannot access the boardroom to work unless the staff unlock it. You cannot book anything for the spa with the reception. So there are services but they are difficult to access. Also people from the street wander into the hotel restaurant and tables on the first floor to try to sell you items during your meals and street people try to open the door for you when you get out of a taxi at the front door so security is not up to par.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent stay....very friendly staff....always again!!!!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Proximity
Cons: Perfect location. Beautiful building and great staff, very helpful. Nice breakfast would definitely stay again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast, and the charm of common area
Cons: Room a little bit small but not a real inconvenience

Cons: niente. nothing was bad. maybe only the swimming pool needs some maintenance.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Hi we arrived here little frazzled but Javier was amazing from start to finish . Mattress need changing not so great
Cons: The bar area sorry this needs work
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room on the 8th floor with good views. Helpful staff. Good location close to the main square.
Cons: The air con in the room is quite noisy even on the lowest setting.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice and clean room, cool design! We got the "chañi" room, with an oval shape. Confortable bed and linens, good bathroom and toilettries. Nice central position.
Cons: The terrace was not great, needed a bit more care. Although the bathroom looks cool, it's not customer centric. The functional design is not correct, the hangers for the towels are inside the shower and hard to reach, and other small details like this. The SPA was not working when we went there (not even after asking for help to the staff). Overall good for the price but could be better with more care.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed on the 9th floor where the views were amazing. True there’s another big hotel right in from but there wall to wall windows give you a pretty panoramic view. The room was big, bathroom luxurious, same day laundry service, it really had everything I needed and more. There’s a dipping pool on the roof with gorgeous views, a gym with decent facilities, sauna, steam room and spa (I didn’t try these out so I canNt comment). Really good for the spice (though I’m speaking as someone who is living off European currency and would not be used to getting this much for this price -£65) Add to this very friendly and helpful staff. I really liked the experience.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Views were great bed very good. Bathroom nice
Cons: The man at the desk was very friendly but didn’t have a lot of accurate info about how we might spend New Years Eve and not very helpful. the hotel bar and room service were closed! The steam and sauna facilities were very small and steam. wasn’t working. Chairs for sitting were very uncomfortable.
7.9 Good
Pros: Stylish hotel in downtown Salta

Pros: One o the most beautiful hotel we have been to! Everything is just perfect. Confort of the rooms, kindness of the staff, food (we loved the dinners there and not having to go anywhere), the garden, the pool. Fantastic option when in Salta.

7.0 Good
Pros: I loved the location as it was walking distance from the great Vieja Estacion Pena! We came back late walking and it was safe!
Cons: I was looking for patio or a place where I could catch sunlight in a nice setting and this one didn't offer it.
6.7 Good
Pros: Very close to the center of Salta.
Cons: In the hotel it is sometimes loud during the night. You can easily hear people talking in the lobby. Breakfast was bad, only 2 croissants and a bit bread (old). 2 sorts of Cereals but without a cup. Furthermore, they forgot to put the tea box on the buffet. Parking in the garage costs 250 pesos. I would not recommend parking there. Because of a big gap before the entrance my car (Chevrolet Onyx) touches heavily the ground. Reception speaks only Spanish.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The shower! Friendly and helpful staff.
6.3 Good
Pros: Very big room and bathroom
Cons: If you need to communicate to the staff you definitely need to speak Spanish as they do not speak word of English. Breakfast is croissant and coffee - very limited. You can hear every move of other people in the hotel as the wall are so thin. No internet in the rooms if you use IPhone as the signal in the rooms is no existing. 20 minutes walk from the centre.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Not too far from the city main square: 8 blocks are walkable... Friendly and helpful staff. Simple but good breakfast. The shower takes a while to get hot but presure is ok. The bed was king size and very comfortable. You have a locker in your room.
Cons: The first night (Saturday)there was a party next door. Probably a once in a while thing but we were lucky to have our ear plugs. The next night the hotel was very silent.
