Good location, close to a subway station and many takeouts and restaurants. It was possible to store a bag outside check in times, free of charge. There's an elevator so you don't have to carry your bags up all the stairs. A clean towel is provided every day.
I was very surprised to see the staff put my credit card in the copy machine while I was checking in. I asked them not to do that and explained why, in the end, after a short arguing back and forth, they did not copy it. While the bathroom was clean, the room was quite dirty. The carpet covering the whole room was filthy. The surfaces in the room seemed to not have been wiped in months, they were sticky and covered in dust. There were many items from the previous guests and empty bottles cluttering the room. My bed was not ready even after the check in time. It took around 30 minutes to get it sorted out and when it was finally done there was a toilet roll and an empty water bottle on it, presumably from the previous guest. The beds do not have lamps or electric outlets. The AC in the room is extremely loud. There are only four tiny lockers in the room with six beds. They were also dirty and so small that I was barely able to fit my purse in there. The staff was not rude, but also not helpful and very disorganised. I asked if I could switch my bed for a lower bunk and was denied, even though half of the beds were empty at that time. Upon check out, the staff was away for 20 minutes, during the peak check out time. Many guests were there, waiting and panicking that they will not make their connections or will be charged for overstaying.
All you need is there, it's very clean, Brooklin Bridge close, nice bathroom, comfortable bed
A small light for late arrivers would be helpful in the dorm, loud AirCon if windows open
Very big rooms and comfortable beds. The bathrooms were cleaned very well. Plenty of places to sit in the common areas
It was dark in the room, and not sure how often the carpet is cleaned. My bed wasn't made when I got there, and sometimes if there is a bed free, the staff will sleep in it (which is weird). They weren't overly accommodating at reception, and sometimes a bit rude (no attention to detail)
Nothing rude scam
I didn't like anything rude it's a scam
