Excellent room for the price.
My room was next to the pool, the rooms were a good size, staff was amazing, was given late checkout until 1:30 for no charge, the golf terraine is gorgeous, there were other families there on Saturday which made it nice for my daughter to play, pool was very clean, there are 2 pools, the smaller pool is nicer, pool is open late, hot tubs are large, store across the street, lots of restaurants around, no bedbugs. Hot tub wasn't working by large pool, furniture in room is from 1967 and smells accordingly, rooms feel like a mix between a skanky motel and retirement home, the whole place feels like a retirement home, I went to the restaurant and it was gross, waitress was very rude to me and I left, rooms don't feel very secure, some really shady looking guests, towels are nasty, purchased Lysol wipes and wiped down my ENTIRE room after I was told my room was non refundable, it was filthy, including the toilet, bed very uncomfortable, there was blood on my sheets.
Strange parking situation but not bad
The hotel was well below the style portrayed in the pictures I saw on the internet. The website said there was free wireless internet in the rooms, which in fact was charged 6.95 per day for said internet usage. I will not be staying ath the Arizona Golf Resort ever again. The grounds, and rooms, were not nearly as nice looking as in the website, I truly feel mislead. Also they charged me 6.95 per day for wireless internet usage in my room which was said to be free of charge on the advertised website.

The room was big and very clean. The kitchenette was a nice amenity, too. The bathroom area was very functional with the shower/toilet in a separate room from the sink and very long counter (loved the counter space!). Although standard in most hotels, having a functioning iron and board that didn't leave a stain on my shirts was a life saver. I am a big coffee drinker. I would've like to see a little more than maxwell house coffee filters for the old style coffee pot. I tried it once and couldn't do it twice. Ended up going out for coffee.

Course is fun to play. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to please. Prime rib was excellent and the restaurant staff was very efficient and nice. The resort was built in 1960, so things are a little dated, but they are working on upgrades all the time. The kitchenette is a great option for the people who don't like to eat out every night! P.S. Don't eat the oranges on the trees they are an ornamental variety and YUCK!!!

We went for the water park & got more than we expected for the holiday with extended hours & activities for the children. For an additional amount we could check out later & enjoy the park more. Staff were very courteous. No microwave

Enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere... we celebrated our first year anniversary here and the staff was very courteous that we had an upgrade on our room and a bottle of wine given to us for free at your arrival! Excellent location! Restaurant had good quality food just a little overpriced.
The water park is so fun ! There are so many fun things to do there the water slides are awesome! The beds are super comfy too!! There's a resort fee that should just be included in the price but it's for a good reason and the room service is a bit high .

How busy the pool area is with kids. I am not sure how they can help adults that are not traveling with kids but I'm sure they would be annoyed with the level of kid noise. I think the parents allow the kids too much freedom with little parent supervision even late at night. I feel they should have curfews for the kids. If you are seated over the bridge you must bring your shoes to the lazy river or your feet will be burned. I feel they should have more entrances to the lazy river to much congestion in one area
This isn't a very romantic resort. Too many places for families and not enough places for romance DO NOT LIKE THE EXTRA CHARGE AT THE DESK OF $49 FOR WHATEVER. I WAS CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $110 WHICH $55 IS REIMBRUSED AFTER SO MUCH TIME. CHARGE WHAT YOU WILL AND LEAVE IT AT THAT. WE COME FOR THE SLIDES & LAZY RIVER LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. BUSINESS MAYBE DIFFERENT.
We really enjoyed the Oasis Water Park they had different events going on which made it super fun for the kids. The room was clean, great location close to shops restaurants and more. Plenty of things to do at resort.
We loved our comfortable room. We loved the waterpark. We loved being able to check in a little early. We didn't love not being able to bring a few snacks into the waterpark. They make sure you have to buy them there.
Comfortable suites with good beds; lush vegetation; wonderful little swimming pool right across from our suite; restaurant patio dining; a great water park for kids; good gift shop. Furniture somewhat dated; very small bathroom; stained carpet in living room (except for that, the suite was very clean).
We loved the many options of pools. Also, this was the best exercise facility ever! The staff were also very helpful and friendly.
The hotel was very kid friendly and beautiful. The river ranch was a blast. Our room was large with a great view. Our room was dirty. It didn't look like the bath tub had been cleaned at all. I had to rinse several hairs down the drain before I could even shower my kids. The carpet was absolutely terrible which became extremely noticeable once my 10 month old started crawling on it. The service was ok some of the staff was super friendly and helpful others were almost rude. All of that being said, I would still stay here again with high hopes of the room being a little cleaner.
This place is beautiful. The grounds and buildings are recently remodeled and they are very clean. The room had a lot of space. Parking was great, and the resort fee was actually worth it for once. They give you a lot for the $24 a night fee, I had no complaints.
The pool was great! The pool staff was excellent and always around if you needed anything! We were unable to check in early, so they said they would text us when our room was ready which should have been by 4 because that's the time of check in. Around 4:30 still no text, so we decided to go check ourselves. When I spoke with the woman at the front desk about checking in she said our room was still not ready. Luckily she moved something around and got us into a room, but what if I hadn't gone to the front desk and just waited for a text who knew how long we would have waited. If check in is at 4 then we should have been in a room by that time. Also the housekeeping never came to clean our room on the second day which I found very odd.
Nice rooms for the price, fun waterpark, but the pools were dirty and the pool pavers were blistering hot on our feet.
I like the location on 16th Street. Nice bars and restaurants close by. Water park was fun. Rooms are a bit dated. Water park was smaller than I was hoping. Not a lot of choices for dining on resort during summer.

Easy check in They boast "millions of dollars in recent renovations" but the rooms are just awful. I remember this resort from many years ago, and at the time it was very nice. They have basically let the whole place become run down and have milked it for all the money they can get out of it. It is a run down crappy "resort" now, and should be condemned.
The beds were comfortable. Front desk personnel were friendly and very helpful. The rooms are comfortable but a bit outdated. There was some confusion about my bill, but it was quickly cleared up. Overall the hotel was nice, but a bit dated though the amenities were lacking. Pool was gross - they didn't bother to skim it over 4 days if was there and there were tons of dead bugs including bees and a cockroach. Saturday morning they had no towels and weren't even trying to fix it. Maids entirely blocked the hallway with their carts and didn't bother to move to let us off the elevator. Lazy river is nice when it's not busy, but was very crowded on the weekends.
The amount of space for the King bedroom suites was very accommodating. There are two separate rooms, a living room area with a pull out bed is great to use if you have additional folks with you or children, and a separate bedroom in case you want more privacy. The staff were very knowledgeable and responsive. I didn't need much assistance, but for the few questions or needs I had, they were quick to aid me. The resort is kept up well. It has stayed up-to-date since my last stay there 20 years ago. I'm happy to see it has been kept in good condition. I went to the spa and the masseuse was incredibly experienced and did an exceptional job. I would highly recommend the spa. There are a few small areas that the resort could improve on: -I noticed it was very difficult reaching hotel staff by phone. I tried every single line (ie Guest Request, Room Service, Front Desk..) just to try to reach someone. This happened to me about 5-6 times within my first 36 hours. They could work on beefing up availability of folks to answer phones. -The spa was fantastic, and one of the showers was very dark, and had one ceiling light which was not in the shower. This made the room dark after pulling the shower curtain. It didn't do justice to the overall appearance to the spa. -Also I would recommend the spa supplying a few creature comforts in the locker room, such as disposable combs for people to use after showers.
Nothing Hvac was loud. Tv had cords and boxes hanging out the side. Guests ran around screaming and play until 11pm

Based upon the first impression of the front desk service, along with the room, I was expecting a perfectly fine stay. Especially, considering, the stay was only for one night. The room was spotless, and super cute! (We got one with a jacuzzi, which is definitely a bonus of this hotel.) there was even a little note from the maid, ensuring we knew it had been cleaned 100%, for our satisfaction. That being said, I was required to call a 1-800 line, for room service? I was directed to an obscure representative, who was way beyond unprofessional, who then, transferred me to the kitchen of, what I found out later, was Streets of New York. Sure, but then why is it called OrderInn, on the room service menu? I just want to know where the food I'm paying stupid amounts of money for, is coming from. Along with several, basic food items, such as, plain old, Garlic bread, that they had, extensively, labeled as "Passion bread", and was being way overcharged for.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for the fourth of July weekend. I will never stay here again ever. The room was dated. The room looked like a road side motel. The pictures and smoke dectors were falling off the wall. The refrigerator door had a hole like some one kicked it. I went to four different ice machines four different times and not one of them worked. I had to drive to the store it was very inconvenient. For the amount we paid for each nigh it was not worth it. We didn't even go to the water park portion of the resort because we were so disappointed with our room
as we frequent several valley hotels, we especially loved the adult pool area.................... our room had absolutely no view front or back
Lounge view awesome went for the sunset and ended up going back for night cap and view of Phoenix at night from the mountain every night. Plenty to do golf, great hiking trails, tennis and great pool area. Since you are literally on top of a mountain restaurants off property are not walk to but a quick 10 minute cab or car ride.
beauriful view from the highest point on the property. Rooms are a bit stale and in need of renovation. Sink made weird noises that woke us up. Staff is mediocre at front desk.

Nice room nice pools I stayed on a Monday until Wednesday and it wasn't very busy at all. I was put in the farthest room from the main pool so it wasn't walking distance, did receive shuttle service but would of been nicer to be closer.
Beautiful location and amenities. We expected great services and top-notch amenities, but the staff and our room were just mediocre. First, we had to wait for 10 minutes to sign in. The check-in agent was tied up with a time-consuming transaction but didn't even bother to apologise for the wait, much less attempt to summon a colleague to help us. Bad form. Next, we paid for queen-sized beds, but our room was outfitted with full-size beds. Wah wah. It was late and we weren't in the mood for making a fuss, but it was just...shabby. Nothing horrible, just not good.
Resort was pretty and acommodations acceptable for price. Narrow roadways and endless views of cars. I was unable to find a way to navigate through the resort without walking through the parking lots. Only room service ordered was a caesar salad with a total cost of over $20. Lettuce had just been washed, but not dried so it was watery with cold cut type chicken placed on top. Very poor especially for a Hilton.
the location is very good close to Phoenix and those attractions. We even went to edona for a day trip. The staff helpful. The room was poorly appointed. The bed was terrible. There was very poor water pressure. We could not believe that there wasn't free wi-fi. We found this to be archaic & unacceptable.
Relaxing atmosphere..nice rooms...outdoor patios for each unit Ability to get a room location that is requested in advance. Why ask at time of booking about your requests if they do not honor it or sem to know that there was even one asked for..if I asked for a back 2nd floor suite..why try & give me a 1st floor front roomm ?? Second time this happened .
The hotel was convenient to shopping and close to our golf school. The front desk staff were really nice, but they didn't appear to be overly competent. The room was not cleaned properly; bathroom sinks not cleaned; bed very poorly made with bedspread left piled on the floor.
The facility appears to be clean and the grounds and pool are very nice. It is a good location for our purposes. Hot water was in short supply--especially in the evening. Although the bed was soft and comfortable--the sheets were paper thin and better quality linens could have added comfort to the sleeping experience
It had no internet connection and its staff left a lot to be desired not very helpful. Internet connection was supposed to be available but was not and they could not care less.Of the many hotels I have booked through you this was the first hotel I felt I had to complain about.Finbarr Ross take it off your list.
We celebrated our anniversary and were upgraded to a beautiful suite, and the front desk staff sent a beverage, chocolates and fruit to our room when they learned. Loved the room, the grounds are amazing and enjoyed the amazing amenities. We're planning to return every year.

Nice pool and gym. Great drinks at the hotel bar. Beautiful hotel. They seemed to be incredibly short staffed in terms of housekeeping. On our first night, our room wasn't ready for check-in at 6:30pm -- 2.5 hours after the hotel's check-in time of 4pm. It seemed like it would work out in our favor because we got a room upgrade since our assigned room wasn't ready. But then on our second day our room wasn't cleaned until 4:30pm and on our third day, they didn't clean the room at all -- and we were out of the room from 10am until 9pm! When we called the front desk, they offered to send someone to clean the room, but it took 40 minutes for someone to show up.

My room was nicely renovated but bathroom much to small. The shower when in use would soak the bathroom floor. The property is getting tired looking, time for a face lift. I returned after 10 years and was disappointed to find gym still to small, spa uninspiring, exercise studio and bike/tennis area a throw back to 1980. I would return to the front portico each morning from a long run and was never greeted by bell staff or offered bottled water as i stood there recovering from the run and sweating from the desert heat. I have become so accustomed to being greeted by staff with bottled water and towel upon returning from jogging at all great hotels that i really resented having to ask for it. The main lobby is beautiful and I enjoyed evening cocktails on the patio adjacent to the lobby. The bar staff was lovely. Lunch and breakfast in Frank and Albert's was painful to endure. Breakfast was so delayed with mistakes to the order and lunch was mediocre. The cafe also disappointed. One meal at each was one too many. Best meals were all off property. My daughter and I walked thru the shops and found once again we were back in the 80's. We love to shop so it was hard to believe there was almost next to nothing to buy. Housekeeping was a bit lacking of management, it seemed. Dirty dessert dishes lingered in my room for two days. The Scottsdale - Phoenix area has so many fabulous resorts, it's to bad The Biltmore doesn't seem to be one of them anymore.
Lots of places to sit and talk. Good facilities. Newly renovated rooms are very nice. Staff is great! Smoking in the general seating areas outside
Truly beautiful hotel. Beautiful grounds. Upgraded us to a private cottage room free of charge. Would love to stay here again soon.
Many luxury features. Service very good and happy hour nice. Hot tub not warm, bed sagged in middle, no robes, landscapers started gas power hedge trimmers at 8:35am for 45 minutes in courtyard next to room.
Mountain biking and guide (Chip) were excellent. Wright's was outstanding dining all around. Food, service, presentation, ambiance, price. If the entire resort were run like Wrights, this would be a five star resort. Spa services, attendants were great. Megan O. at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The lobby is beautiful. A Maintanence engineering employee whose name I did not get. The bicycle room service provided a bit of whimsy and were a delight to watch them ride through the resort. The swim up bar is a nice touch, but perhaps should not be immediately next to the kids water slide. Was billed as a five star resort when I booked it. Don't get me wrong, this is a nice place with a lot of history. However, a five star resort implies attention to little details that separate you from other resorts. Those little details were missing. While I understand the main entrance is under renovation, the concrete blocks holding down the umbrellas for the valets looked cheap and haphazard. Not a good first impression. Upon arrival, no one offered to help with my bags, merely pointing me to the direction of the temporary main entrance. At that entrance, there is a small lip in the doorway, making it difficult to maneuver a roller bag. While the front desk did ask if I needed assistance with my bags, no bellhops were around if I did, and given the room location, they should have been more readily available, as my room in the garden wing is on the second floor accessible only by stairs. Upon check-in, I searched for ice (which with a bellhop could have been a non-issue at least for the first day). I could not locate the ice machine, or anything in the in-room literature to direct me. I found a housekeeper and asked her. She did not seem to know either. A maintenance engineering department employee coming out of a guest room overhead the conversation and immediately led me to the nearest ice machine himself. Unfortunately it was broken. Not only that, there was a bus cart full of dirty dishes stowed in front of it. Again, this is the kind of little detail a five-star resort takes care of. The ice machine in the adjacent paradise wing seemed more designed for "back of the house" rather than for a guest to be accessing it. Service at Frank and Albert's was very nonchalant. It did not seem as is they cared if we stayed to eat or not, or enjoyed our meal. Everything seemed to be under construction at once, causing noise throughout the day, from early in the morning until afternoon. When I asked about this, several, employees' response was "well, it's the slow season...." as if I should have lower expectations because it's August. Again, a little detail a five-star resort should nail. Guests should not notice a difference in staff attention regardless of "season." A few other "little details": In the lobby bar, the cords for the TVs and speakers were haphazardly hanging, not neatly along the wall. There was visible water damage on one of the corner speakers. A large cobweb was hanging in the corner and blowing with the AC. There were several areas where grout or paint had dripped onto the pressed concrete blocks from recent renovations but were left there, not removed. The pool desk was open and appeared to be staffed, but was unmanned for five minutes, leading me to walk behind the desk to help myself to clean towels as no one was around. Ultimately, we cut our stay a day short and moved to a different area five star resort, where we did not experience any negative issues.

The resort is beautiful. The wait staff at the restaurant was fantastic. Check in was delayed until after the check in time and there was no apology for this. Staff at pool were not very friendly and very slow.

This location if beyond fantastic. It is quiet and serene. You can ride horses, hike, canoe etc. The employees are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning far exceeded or expectations! I can't say enough things about this charming place! no...
