Pros (+) Perfect spot to stay at in Hollywood if you’re a no-frills traveler; clean and friendly staff
Cons (-) No elevator available to get up the very steep stairs; hard to negotiate that with a heavy duffel bag

Pros (+) So, to start off, let me say that this is not a hotel. It's a cheap way to share a room with seven other people and have a little base of operations to explore from. The thing that impressed me most was how clean it was. Every time I went anywhere in the hostel, there was someone cleaning something. I felt very comfortable in that. Cons (-) The only thing I didn't really enjoy as much (and this really couldn't be avoided) was sharing a room with 7 people. Not that they weren't nice; just the awkwardness of not having much privacy and trying not to make much noise when you come in late or head out early. Other than that, it was great.

Pros (+) Great location and price. Pleasant staff. Very clean. Surprisingly quiet.
Cons (-) Long flights of stairs to room. Very slippery tiled shower floors -- I fell! $2 extra for towels.

Pros (+) Great breakfast, and very clean all around. Super helpful and friendly staff. Lockers in the room for your valuables and a really soft blanket! The beds were pretty good and there were sockets in between each bed with room for about 6 plugs.
Cons (-) Everyone showers in the morning so the water gets really cold. This is not their fault though:)
