Pros: So clean and fresh. The waterfront view is exceptional. The amentities were very nice.
Cons: Restaurant food was good, service was kinda slow. The buffet was expensive for what was on offer. In other similar hotels, that kinda of breakfast was included in your stay. Also, the Bistro in the lobby only opened at 7am....too late for some folks who start their day much earlier than 7am.

Pros: Nice hotel - clean, comfortable, friendly staff, quite, convenient.
Pros: Have stayed at Baymont several times. Always clean. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds. Good value for the money.
Cons: Parking lot. Should have been bigger.
Pros: It was clean and convenient.
Cons: I had booked on line and because health issues came up and we had to come home a day early, the front desk said there was no way to get our money back for the last night and there were no coupons for another nights stay at a later date.
Pros: Nice big room
Cons: Very noisy. Beware. This hotel is across the street from a casino and lots of noisy/drunk people. Our room only had a shower and no tub so we couldn't bathe our kiddos
Cons: way too much money per night.
Pros: Convenient and affordable
Cons: My bed was gross. There was hair in the sheets and the comforter was stained with who knows what. It looked like all they did was make the bed after the previous people checked out and didn't bother cleaning the sheets and comforter.
Pros: Clean. Well maintained for the price.
Cons: Very loud hotel! The walls appear quite thin as you can hear doors closing in the hallways, others walking on the above floors and staff cleaning the adjacent rooms in the AM. This hotel is not for light sleepers or those who want a quiet getaway.
Pros: Hotel was nice, clean, fee breakfast.
Cons: Staff doesn't know what they are doing and not helpful. When we arrived at the hotel they said we were already checked in and had to put us in a different room then when we checked out they said we are already checked out. Didn't ask us how our stay was and they were kind of rude. I would government the staff at -10
Came back from the casino at 11:30 had to park at the store across the street cuz there was no parking. Staff didn't even care.
Eggs were terrible. Waffles were good
Don't think I would go back.
Cons: Our room was near the elevator. And Everytime someone would get on there was a loud ding noise.
Pros: New and clean....
Cons: Bathroom was small, sink and mirror was in outside the bathroom...

Very comfortable bed
Cons: Noisy guests in the room above but not while we slept.
Pros: Great breakfast included.

Pros: Convenient to splush Lagoon water park. Easy to access to room.
Pros: We stayed here before a college visit to Edinboro University. The hotel was easy to get to and our room was ready when we arrived. The front desk was very friendly. It was very helpful that the Hampton provided breakfast - one of the reasons we choose them. The price was great and I would definitely stay here again.
Cons: The hotel was close enough to the highway that you could hear trucks at night. I would recommend getting a room on opposite side of hotel from highway. In addition, our room window would not shut completely so we also had an issue with a "whistling" sound during the night. The size of the beds was listed as queen but they seemed a little smaller than that. Not sure if the bed size listed was accurate.
Pros: The hotel is conveniently located close to the freeway, shops and restaurants. Staff was friendly and quite helpful.
Cons: The rooms are a little dated and room very noisy due to doors slamming and other guests talking on the hallway.

Pros: Super friendly staff! Super clean! We will be back!
Pros: Everything was clean and the staff was amazing! We got a free upgrade, which was very nice. My husband and I will be returning.
Pros: It was a perfect setting by the lake. People were kind.
Cons: They charged me for incidentals which said that it would be on my credit card the same day and did not receive it. Also, a worker was interfering with an argument my girlfriend and i were having and basically not letting me speak to her.
Pros: The Hotel was very nice and clean ... you cam use the sky bridge to go to the convention center..
Cons: No early morning free continental breakfast...its a paid extra breakfast...and paid new parer too.....$12.00 extra for parking
Pros: View was awesome
Cons: Windows could of been cleaned better
Pros: My "boyfriend" and I stayed here one night just so we could get away from everyone and have some privacy after a HORRENDOUSLY stressful week including the cancellation of our planned vacation to Washington D.C.
This hotel was only about 45 minutes away from us. We personally know the Erie area well, but the hotel is super easy to get to if you're from out of town.
The room was clean and smelled clean as soon as we walked in. It was nicely sized if you're looking to just relax for a night or two (room 329 is where we were; PERFECT view of a marina and State Street and honestly, the sun rise was really pretty too. It woke me up but the sun beaming on me made me smile). If I were staying more than a couple nights, I'd probably want a bigger room.
The bathroom, again, nicely sized but the layout itself was weird with no room between the sink and shower. But whatever, not like you're going to be dancing all around the bathroom of a hotel, right? Had plenty of room to do whatever (straighten hair etc.) I'd ask for more towels, next time. Just a thought.
The bed (mattress, linens, pillows) were clean and HEAVENLY. Neither of us wanted to get out of it in the morning (which wasn't really morning because check out isn't until noon! BONUS) Seriously, SUPER comfortable bed. I'll stay again just for the bed. Not even kidding.
The bar downstairs was nice and convenient. Good selection of mixed drinks, wines, and beers plus the food from the restaurant looked delicious. A pretty large, top shelf martini was $10.... and they pour them STRONG.
Hotel WAS under construction while we were there but did not affect our stay at all. Heard someone walk in the hallway once but they sounded like they'd had some fun at the bar lol. Didn't hear our neighbors, don't know if we even had any. This hotel is RIGHT on the water and it was windy as heck when we stayed BUT I can only imagine that when it's warm out (and not November) that it's BEAUTIFUL.
OVERALL, I will ABSOLUTELY stay here again and without question, I recommend it to anyone and the "boyfriend" agrees. There have been a few times since where one or both of us has said "We need to go back to the Sheraton." It was just a nice little escape from the world. And it felt really great to exhale.
Cons: I didn't not like how noisy the room was. You can hear people walking in the hallways. You can hear the people next to you, above you, and below you. Very loud for the price

Pros: Very good breakfast included. Big, comfortable room.
Cons: No pool on site because they are next door to a water park.
Pros: Room size, whirlpool tub.
Pros: The room was great, we had been traveling for 10 hours from New York & Boston. The room was so large we wished we had that much space in our other hotels!
Cons: Nothing was wrong with our stay, it was great!
Pros: Checking out.
Cons: The no-smoking policy at this hotel is clearly only a suggestion. The smell of cigarette and marijuana smoke was, at times, overwhelming. Also, the walls are paper thin. This place was a pit.
Pros: Quality of the room furnishings, fixtures, etc. was top notch. Beautiful and well-maintained. Clean. Great breakfast choices
Cons: End of curtain was off the rod and would not close properly.
Pros: Wonderful staff, room, amenities. Everything. Planning on staying everytike we pass thru
Pros: Great location.
Cons: Older room, shows some wear and tear.
Pros: This hotel was located near everything my family and I wanted to do.
Pros: It was very well organized. The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was CLEAN, unlike dome others on this trip.

Pros: The staff was very nice, the plkace right off the highway and our room very clean--looked like it was recently redone.
Cons: All good
Pros: This is a newly renovated motel 6. Rooms are rather Spartan but the decor is attractive - it has kind of a retro 60s feel, albeit with new furnishings. It only has the basics but the basics are remarkably clean and neat; staff is crisp and courteous. Given the price this is remarkably good value.
Cons: The only bad thing was a very strong cleaning solution odor in the room when I first came in. This dispersed after I left the door open for a few minutes (or maybe I just got used to it).
Motel 6 Erie is conveniently located near area shopping, dining and Erie Int'l Airport. Erie Zoo, Splash Lagoon Indoor Waterpark and Millcreek Mall are all within 5 miles. Guests enjoy beautiful, modern, smoke-free rooms with free WiFi access.
Pros: The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. The facility was clean and convenient. We will stay again.
Pros: Clean and comfortable
Cons: Awkward to get too
Pros: Cleanliness of the room was superb. This was our second time staying at this particular location and we won't be staying anywhere else next time we visit Erie, PA.
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. We were there for the Erie Marathon and nearly every hotel was full. They opened up breakfast early for the runners and granted us a late checkout so we could shower after the race. The location is convenient to hop on the interstate and go up to Presque Isle.
Cons: The location of the hotel is within a shopping center complex. It's not a major problem, but it did require quite a few stops and turns to get back to the hotel.
Pros: Very clean, comfortable modern rooms, nice linens, though we did find the bed a little soft and squishy (my boyfriend has back issues and needs a firmer mattress). Easy, pleasant check-out.
Cons: My boyfriend and I had an insanely bad experience at the front desk trying to check in. We booked on Kayak and arrived after grabbing a late dinner, after midnight. The woman at the desk informed us that our room wasn't available because it hadn't been cleaned yet, and no staff was there to clean it so "she would have to do it." We asked if there were other rooms available in the hotel and she said yes, but because we had booked with Kayak (3rd party) she couldn't change the room in her system. She argued with us about how there was nothing she could do and expected us to walk away from a booking we had already paid for and find another place to stay at 1am. Not ONCE did she say anything remotely resembling "so sorry, it looks like that room's not available, let me see what I can do." After about 40 minutes on the phone with Marriott and multiple supervisors, she gave us another, upgraded room. It was almost comical it was so bad.
Pros: The accommodations at this hotel were fantastic....refrigerator, dishwasher , microwave, and stove-top in the room. The continental breakfast was very nice, and laundry on site. The staff was friendly, helpful, and courteous. Enjoyed our stay even though we were in town for a funeral.
Pros: We loved the updated look of the kitchenette! We had to finish some of our holiday candy-making and the little kitchen fit the bill! My husband appreciated the 32" LCD TV. He rolled the filling for our buckeyes while sitting up in bed watching TV using a very lovely and useful breakfast tray that each room is provided. The closet space is very generous.
Cons: I'm used to my king sized natural latex mattress; so, I wasn't thrilled with our queen sized bed with a very firm mattress. But it was a quality mattress. I still slept ok. The sheets felt a bit rough; hubby didn't notice, of course. The fact that the bathroom can also be accessed through the closet which doesn't have a lock was a bit unnerving. No issue for us, but our extended family had a two bedroom suite with one bathroom, and they were uncomfortable with this setup. Their five year old loved it! The elevators are located in inconvenient places in the hotel. The included breakfast was ok, but we did like the waffle maker!
Pros: Great location right behind the mall within minutes of great restaurants as well.

Cobblestone Hotel & Suites - Erie is a great choice for a stay in Erie. After splashing around at the indoor pool, you can unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves, along with flat-screen TVs and free wired Internet.
Pros: The price was good. Rooms were clean and neat. Pool available for folks who wished to use it(in season only. They drained it part way through our stay).
Cons: The only item I didn't like was the breakfast. Not at all balanced. danish and fruit are not a breakfast for me. Its all sugar and carbs with no other nutrients. So we ate breakfast out. But that was the only negative.
Cons: Room smelled funky water pressure was bad as was the water temperature beds were hard
A great choice for a stay in Erie, Glass House Inn is just 3.1 mi (5.1 km) from the airport. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, and hiking/biking trails and kayaking are nearby. Rooms feature conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Cons: For almost $200 per night I expected a comfortable bed. He beds and pillows were rock hard.
Pros: Location - close to main road and shopping
Cons: Staff weren't overly friendly, only one out of many we ran into greeted us. Room was musty, water was like warm for shower. No breakfast included and paid $189 cad. Just overall we could have went to a budget motel for same experience. The Baymont down the road was incredible all around for a wonderful experience. Will try to go back there instead.
Pros: We really enjoyed the friendly staff and the bed was comfortable. It was central so there was so much to do outside the hotel.
Cons: The overall hotel room needed updated. There was paper pealing off corners and the overall look wasn't great. The spa tub shouldn't be considered two people and there was only two jets and many rules and instructions with the tub. There was a huge spider in the shower and the mini fridge wasn't very efficient. The pool was open until midnight but there were so many children there that it wasn't relaxing. If you are looking for a romantic weekend, this might not be the place. there was a water bottle sitting there that was $3.25 and if we drank it we would be charged. After all the money that was spent, you'd think they would give you a complimentary bottle of water. We simply went across the street to Walmart and bought a gallon of water for less. It wasn't anything special. Just a basic hotel. We won't be staying again for that price. We could have stayed somewhere much better for less money. Other than the friendly staff and how central it was, it wasn't worth it. It was a big disappointment.

Pros: A clean, well maintained hotel with spacious, comfortable rooms. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Nice indoor pool and hot tub.
Cons: Breakfast should include more fresh fruit.
In-room A/C unit was very loud.
Pros: The staff were very kind, and the rooms so very nice. I've never been to a hotel that smelled do pristine.
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: VERY THIN WALLS !!!!
Pros: Great staff
Cons: Room could have been cleaner. The sheets on one bed had a hair and the shower had some mold.
The staff were excellent rooms very clean access off the interstate was very convienent
Cons: Did not get a good nights sleep due to the constant truck noise off the interstate.
Pros: The breakfast was fantastic! Rooms were very clean, and very comfy.
Cons: Check out time was 3pm, would liked to have checked in when we got there at 1. It wasnt a big deal but would have been nice if we would have known the check in time ahead of time. Not enough towels on the pool area.
Pros: Very clean. Staff was very friendly. I was beyond impressed. They also offered a fantastic breakfast.
Cons: Pool could have been a little bigger
Conveniently located off Interstate 90 in the heart of the restaurant and shopping district, this Wingate by Wyndham Erie is near Erie International Airport, Tom Ridge Field, Presque Isle Downs and Casino, Lake Erie Speedway, Family First Sports Park, Erie Zoo, Bayfront Convention center, museums, shopping and many local restaurants. Guest room amenities include microwave, refrigerator, safe, flat-screen TV with HBO, and newspaper. Suites and handicapped accessible rooms are also available.
Pros: Hotel is great and great Location staff are terrible
Cons: Staff Andrea is very rude. Still waiting for a return call from the manager
Pros: Beautiful place.... I will stay here again.
Cons: The complimentary breakfast wasn't stocked and tables were not cleaned.
Pros: The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room had a small kitchen with a full sized refrigerator, microwave, small stove and dishwasher.
Cons: We had condensation dripping from a vent on the ceiling in the bathroom, just in front of the toilet on the 1st night. The fitted sheet wouldn't stay on the mattress so we'd wake up in the middle of the night because we'd be brushing up against the bare mattress. The bed cover was weird as well. It was almost like a mattress pad and a coverlet that had a small foot wide fold over that the pad fit into. I'd never seen anything like it. The TV had a weird smear across the whole screen which was noticeable and was never cleaned during our 3 night stay. And like another guest noted, the left elevator was slow and it didn't seem like the door close button worked at all since you had to wait a very long time for the door to eventually close. We won't be choosing this hotel again on our next visit to Erie.
Pros: Was able to check-in earlier than 3pm.
The room was a nice size.
The hot tub was great!
The complimentary hot breakfast was very good.
Check-out at 12pm was very nice to have.
The shutterfly free book coupon was a nice perk too.
Full fridge/freezer, stove top, dishwasher & sink was great to have in the room.
Cons: Room was listed as a "queen" suite, but we only had a "double/full" bed, not a queen.
The pool water was too cold to be enjoyable. You had to get out right away.
The left elevator was very slow. The door close button wouldn't work. It made noises when running - a little bit scary.
Back sidewalk was not salted so there was a lot of ice on it. My mom is handicapped and it was very difficult for her to walk on the ice. We tried to help her, but we were afraid of falling ourselves.
No ice machine available to guests.

Cons: I had reservations for a room with 2 queen beds, but they gave me a room with 1 king bed. I asked to change to the correct room, but they still only put me in a room with 2 full size beds. They claimed they were queen beds, but they were not. Also, the refrigerator in the room did not work and I left a iPhone charger in the room and called a couple of hours after checkout, but they claimed not to find it.
The room was definitely overpriced and the staff was not very helpful.

Pros: The shower wasn't working in our room. When we called the front desk they were right up to our room to try to fix it. it couldn't be fixed and they got us in another room right away. Will definitely stay again!!!
Pros: spacious room, would have been great for extended stay.
Cons: most hotels have at least a continental breakfast, nothing here. I did have coffee in the room.
Cons: There is only one entrance to the hotel, on a road you are not able to make left turns. Plus the hotel does not give you easy access to the mall.
Pros: The service staff were really nice and talkative. I loved the location. The cleanliness and newness of the hotel really helped.
Cons: Accessing this hotel is difficult since the parking lot only has one way in/ out and you have to drive down the road to the traffic like to make a left turn. Our room was also missing one of the blackout curtains... a bit strange.
Pros: Room felt modernot and was very clean. Water pressure was great
Pros: The staff was welcoming and professional. The amenities were good at this hotel. Near shopping and services.
Pros: The bed was amazingly comfortable. The room, including the bathroom, was very clean. It was easy to find and centrally located.
Pros: By the Millcreek Mall.
Cons: Only 1 way to enter the hotel which is not marked very well.
Cons: Location is difficult do to one way traffic at hotel entrance. Also not a fan of bedbugs
Pros: The management was unreal rude I have a tattoo that was covered because it was healing and the manager there told the guest that they where going to keep a eye on me while I stayed there I felt like a criminal and a monster will stay there again
Pros: the location
Pros: Great location right by the mall and very friendly staff.
Cons: The previous occupant smoked in the room which made the room absolutely stink! All my belongings smelled like smoke when I left. Very disappointing.

Pros: New hotel, roomy & bed was very comfy. Will book again.
Pros: Everything! This hotel is new and fabulous! It is incredibly clean and trendy, the staff has been wonderful. My husband and I didn't know the breakfast time and slept through. The girl at the desk Alexis did not hesitate to get us breakfast anyway, and she did it without us asking. We extended our stay by two days because we could not leave yet!! The beds are beyond comfy with the best sheets and pillows ever. We booked two queen beds and our sleep has been amazing. The suite kitchen is beautiful and the room is large. The tv is hd and big as well. The bathroom is so clean and the shower fits two. The hotel is green and lovely. And all appliances are stainless steel and great brands. This place is wonderful and we will DEF be back.
Cons: Everything was wonderful.
Pros: Clean, spacious, and modern room. Loved the full side refrigerator.
Cons: We were iin a room right above the pool. Definitely avoid those rooms. It's loud in general. But, the person at the front desk allowed a group of kids in the pool @ 3:30 in the morning and they woke us up.
The breakfast setup was weird. It was a crowded setup and made it difficult to get my breakfast ready.

Pros: Price was great. Room was clean and facility seemed well maintained. Staff was really friendly and knowledgeable of surrounding vacation attractions.
Cons: The part of town it was in was pretty dumpy. The facility (from the outside) was a bit of a let down when we first drove up because it appeared to be an older looking motel. But we were pleasantly surprised once we got inside.
Pros: Megan and Joyce are amazing! Their customer service is excellent.
Pros: The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating during my stay. They provided me with a corkscrew for my bottle of wine and silverware for my takeout. I like the large work area that is available in the Superior King room because I work when I travel. The hotel is easy access from the highway, but GPS does not recognize the location and may lead you in the wrong direction.
Cons: My bathroom had an odd smell during my stay, and the shower/tub combo was not in as good condition as rooms from previous stays. The cable channels are not very good even though it is supposedly expanded. Wifi works well for laptop and small devices, but is inconsistent with my Wii, so I'm not always able to watch Netflix or Hulu. Guests are always very noisy at inappropriate hours. In the middle of the night, a woman was yelling to get into her room and she used profanity. Also, very early in the morning, someone was trying to rally people to get up. Not a good choice of restaurants to eat at because mainly fast food.
Pros: Clean, nice room. Good for price.
Cons: No WiFi. Slow service at front desk. No roll out cots available. Loud noise due to highway.
Pros: Room appeared at first glance to be neat and clean. Staff were cordial.
Cons: My family and I arrived late at the motel after a long day and were welcomed by drunk fighting bikers in the parking lot. Left the next morning covered in bug bites. We do not recommend this place.
Pros: The rooms were recently remodeled and it showed. Our check in was fast and easy. Our room was clean and comfortable and a good value for the money. Our cats got to stay at no extra charge, too!
Cons: I should have called the front desk, but the guests across the hall were having a party and people were in and out of that room until 5am. I told the front desk agent at checkout and she's sending me a voucher for a free nights stay. I thought that was very kind of her.
Pros: Very clean and well maintained
Pros: Small, neat room, friendly staff, right off hwy, quite on other side, breakfast was voucher for McDonald's
Cons: Noticed some dirt on the walls and doors but overall clean.
Pros: Quiet, despite being near highway.
Cons: It isn't worth $80/night unless you are desperately tired. More like a $50/night hotel.
Pros: Great staff, they were helpful with any questions I had. Nice accommodations for the price, close to the colleges.
Cons: Really close to the highway, so make sure you get the backside of the motel if you do not like car noise. I couldn't hear anything on the backside compared to the front facing the highway.
Pros: It is newly renovated
Cons: I stayed for 4 nights
No business support (printer etc)
Odd room layout (desk chair hits the bed)
Room faced the interstate (100') very loud
This is a hotel/motel so 1st floor rooms are outside entry
Got a good rate through booking.com - RedRoof rates were $20-30 higher per night
Pros: It was very nice quiet, clean, and it made the weekend perfect for a one night stay.
Cons: Size of the bathroom, was a little noisy, and I felt they charged to much for what you got.
A great 100 Percent Smoke-Free location with newly renovated rooms less than one half mile from Presque Isle Downs! Mercyhurst College, Gannon University, Millcreek Mall, Erie Zoo, Family First Sports Park, LECOM, Splash Lagoon Indoor Water Park, and Erie Civic Center are all within 5 miles, while Waterworld Park, Presque Isle State Park, and Erie International Airport are within 13 miles. Red Roof Erie is convenient to shopping malls and many restaurants. Start your day with a complimentary breakfast voucher to McDonalds. We also now have in-room coffee makers in all rooms.
Pros: My husband and I both liked on and off exit very easy.
Pros: Staff was very friendly & accommodating. Hotel was very busy with other families as it is adjacent to a water park. Rooms were nice & clean, recently updated. Hallways appeared to need the same updating, and the lobby/breakfast area could stand to be updated too.
Cons: There's no elevator, so make sure to ask for a first floor room if necessary. The breakfast area was very crowded and there weren't enough tables for all of the families that were trying to get ready to go to the water park.

Pros: The staff was extremely helpful, competent and eager to help. That was a huge plus and pretty much the only redeeming quality about this hotel.
Cons: This particular hotel is extremely old and dated. You can tell by the wear and tear that there have been millions through this place. Walls were dirty, carpet fading, terrible decor, etc. Our room smelled like cigarette smoke. It was gross. I like things to feel clean and this hotel did not feel clean.
Pros: Complimentary breakfast and hot beverages throughout the day. Some of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: One of the staff did not allow us to use a microwave and we were forced to eat our leftovers cold.
Cons: I would have liked to have more TV options. There was not a lot to watch such as movies to buy etc.
Pros: Everything was good.
Pros: clean room with great shower facilities. pool was clean and not too much chlorine to burn eyes. hot breakfast was good with eggs, both scrambled and boiled, along with bacon and other standard continental fare. hotel was quiet as sat back off the main road in back of a strip mall area.
Cons: Had no problems or complaints.

Pros: Spacious room with all amenities. Very clean and comfortable for a family.
Cons: Check in was so late in the day. We arrived in the AM for an event and we waited until early evening to check in. Check out time was early too. I understand you need time to clean rooms but for the price it isn't worth not even a 24hr stay.
Pros: Proximity to highway
Cons: Soap from a previous guess was left in the shower, found upon my arrival.
Lighting in rear parking lot was dark during night hours.
Hallways smelled like airplane glue throughout the building, though it did not permeate into room it was still annoying.
Breakfast consisted of an egg creation that has left me imagining what it was supposed to have been. Even Cracker Barrel food is better and that is not saying much.
Room was situated next to an AC unit at ground level which kicked on and off throughout the night interrupting sleep.
Building was older and price was too high given all the newer hotels in this area.
I would not stay again.
Pros: This is the third time we've stayed in the Residence Inn in order to go to Splash Lagoon. The rooms are very suitable for our family with a one bedroom arrangement. Our room had a fireplace, whirlpool, kitchen area, and two tvs. Our Splash Lagoon passes were ready when we arrived at 12:00 and the room was ready by 4:00.
It is very conveniently attached to Splash Lagoon, so you do not have to walk outside to get there. You can wear your swimsuits and flip-flops, even in the dead of winter. If you get a locker near the tree-tops area, you can easily use the back hallway to return to the hotel.
We really like having suites that are this close to the water park, so we'll definitely stay here again when we return.
Cons: None of these things are deal-breakers, but are good to know for future travelers:
The breakfast area is a bit crowded during busy times. If you were a business traveler, I would probably try to avoid the hotel when schools are on winter break as it is packed with families.
Late checkout was available, but it was $59 to check out at 4 PM instead of 11 AM. That was too pricey for us.
The single elevator is really slow, even though there are only three floors.
The side door (under the bridge) did not unlock with my room key, so I had to walk around through the cold rain to the front door. Also, the two front doors were not automatic, making it hard to bring a luggage cart inside. Oh, and one of the luggage carts had a bum wheel making it really hard to push. Apparently, the are waiting on parts to fix it.
Pros: very nice pool indoor and the water park was attached to the building and it was very close to everything
Cons: when we checked in they asked for a card and before i handed it to him i asked if anything was going to be charged to it due to the fact it had our vacation money on it he told me no so i gave it to him, the next day our card was charged $350 dollars needless to say i was pissed i went down to ask about it and the lady told me it was normal and it was a incidental fee that they hold till we checked out which was fine but i was mad because the other guy had told me that it wouldn't be charged she told me tough luck and that there was nothing they could do, needless to say it will be the last time i ever stay in any Marriott hotels. also the queen size bed (even tho we ordered a king size) felt like i was laying on a floor not in a bed i ended up sleeping on the sofa bed because it was more comfortable
