Car rental at Cheyenne Airport

Car rental suppliers at Cheyenne will ask for a valid driver’s license. Foreign renters should provide an International Driving Permit alongside their local driver’s license. Additional documents confirming your identity, such as your passport or a national ID with a photo, should also be presented. You’ll be asked to present an internationally recognized credit card with enough funds for your security deposit. Some rental suppliers may request a printed copy of the rental confirmation receipt sent to your email.

Although small, Cheyenne Regional Airport offers several amenities. You’ll find souvenir shops, food concessions, and a resting zone with great views. The airport is ADA-compliant and is perfectly designed for passengers with reduced mobility. Wheelchair services are available at the airport. You should contact your airline in advance for availability and minimal conveniences. Pet parents can also access animal relief areas.

Most rental agencies prefer a credit card from an internationally recognized bank or financial institution. This is the best option to pay for your Cheyenne Airport car rental because it offers the best consumer protection to renters and acts as a safety net for rental companies. Some rental companies may accept debit card payments. However, you’ll be restricted to certain types of rental vehicles and may be asked to produce your return travel documents or other forms of identification.

Car rental companies that offer shuttle or pick-up services from Cheyenne airport to off-airport locations include Hertz, and National.
