Difficult drop offCons: Drop off was a nightmare. But this may have been the airports fault, not sixt. We spent over half an hour looking for where to park the car. There were no signs of where to enter the drop off area until you were already there. We were also not given any information on key return. Drop off was at Gdansk Lech Walesa airport.

Sixt Gdansk is a fraud - don't let them scam youCons: The employee was extremely pushy initially to upsell me various extra packages. He even tried to make me sign something with rates with did not agree on. After my 2 day rental I returned the car and a few day after I received a charge on my credit card of more than EUR 250, they were claiming that there was damage to the car, while I am 100% sure that nothing happened to the car in my possession. Staff was not professional and did not do an inspection before or after the rental with me and did not let me sign on any check sheet, as is normally the protocol. I heard of other similar cases. I am taking actions against them
Cons: I dropped off my rental car at the Avis Gdansk Scandic Hotel location which was different than the pick up location. I was instructed to park the car in their garage and drop off the keys in the front desk. At check out I requested that someone inspect the car and give me a receipt for my rental. The lady that worked there said that was not necessary. I still insisted that the car be checked because I wanted a receipt. The employee then sneered at me and got irritated because she had to be inconvenienced to get up from her desk and walk outside to check on the car. I'd like to add that at the time this office was completely quiet and I was the only customer there for the two employees who were sitting and browsing the internet. After she checked on the car, she told me that the car had a scratch on the front bumper and I would be charged a damage fee. Of course there was no scratch so I went back to the car, rubbed off the dirt that she had insisted was the scratch, took pictures and presented her with the evidence. By then an hour had passed and I was late for my hotel checkout. This was a very irritating experience as the employee was very rude and incompetent in her job duties. I wish this place would hire people that actually knew something about cars, not an arrogant and snooty diva.

These guys (in Gdańsk) are the bestPros: Had keys at no time, car was great, got everything I needCons: The exit and entrance to the airport for rental cars suck big time - going though multiple gates. Made one mistake and it cost me money. Note that the signs at the airport are not obvious - pay attention as you will end up in the wrong parking
