Bathroom needs updating. The bathroom title are broken and worn. I paid for 5 star. That doesn't meet my 5 star standard
Everything was perfect. Lovely staff. Lovely rooms.
The room was great value but everything else was very expensive.
We loved the restaurant and the proximity to the city shops and cinemas was very convenient.
Location very good. Rooms excellent. Good pool.
Bar staff rude when complained to reception about attitude, unsatisfactorily resolved.
the room was spacious with nice view of stony bridge, lighting up whole night. Enjoyed very much of the river view
Swimming pool was locked in the morning. I had to go to reception every morning for a week to open the door. Someone from the hotel tried to charge 16,000 $ on my credit card and I had to deal with my credit company. International phone call to my credit company for 10 minite costed me about 150 AUD. No one apologised from the hotel until I demanded it.
Excellent hotel, well placed in Brisbane city centre.
Everything was excellent, great river view, good room service
I liked the bed, and bed linen. The actual room was lovely and the hotel itself was impressive.
I was very disappointed with the state of the pool. They should have closed it as the area was under construction. Instead they kept it open and it wasn't heated so you couldn't swim in it anyway. Plus there was construction grit all around the pool which you could feel when you walked around it. I purposely chose the Marriot for the pool as we were planning on using it with our 3 year old son as a great place for entertaining him. Upon check out too, one of the staff on reception tried to charge us for breakfast though it was included in our booking. She then didn't believe us and we had to produce the email that we'd received from bookings.com. The impression she gave us was that she was reluctant to accept even this as proof!
the whole place was fantasticthe staff couldnt do enough to help us we will be going back again
the stay wasnt long enough
