This hotel was fantastic. Very well designed, confortable and perfect.
Internet (64M) can be connected free in each room.
We had free wi-fi. The continental breakfast was great. Well located for us--next to a large park and a mall (since we forgot our converter). Staff was uncourteous. Accommodations were disinviting--the couch in our hotel was dirty. Everything seemed old and dingy. Expected much more for the price we paid, especially when charged an extra R$200 to check in early. We felt like we were the only guests because of how vacant the space feels, it gave us an eery feeling. The pool and fitness center are too small to even use and too dirty to make me feel comfortable.
Room and staff was excellent. Gym was closed, restaurant did not have good menu for afternoon food. If I miss breakfast, there was nothing good on menu. Internet price was outrageous (never had any internet that high price and that slow)
The room was rather big, had modern furniture. From the rooftop of the hotel you have a nice view of Brasilia and there is also a small pool. Staff was kind and helpful.
Excellent breakfast with plenty of fruit, fruit pastry and good coffee. Vicinity of the Brasilia Shopping mall. Efficiency and agility of the reception staff at arrival and departure. Street noise at open windows - but this can not be avoided in a city hotel... For a leisure stay, choose Brasilia Alvorada Park hotel at the bak of Lake Paranoa.
the location right beside a good shopping mall the restaurant was not pleasant to stay, there is not a correct ventilation from the kitchen and the room smells fat, when we leave the restaurant our clothes are smelling too; and the air conditioner was too cold.
Central Location, Relatively Good Services and Facilities Staff was friendly but non-english speaking
The rooms are big. The hotel is in front of the Shopping Center and not far from the main attractions of the city. The breakfast is poor (few options) and they do not really clean the room and bathroom during your stay.
Functional, nice clean rooms and sizable breakast. Right next to the Esplanade. Not all staff speak English,, so be prepared
staff were friendly and welcoming at all times.
Good walk-in shower. Extensive Cable TV. Proximity to Shopping Mall No-one spoke english, few translations available. Pricey for what it offered.
nothing lack of comfort and charm. Lack of lighting.
location of the hotel is excellent; room equipment & services on good level (3+ stars), very good price!
Nothing really. The room and furnishings were very basic. I saw a cockroach in the room. The restaurant was only a snack bar. The atmosphere was rather seedy.
I enjoy the arquitecture and decoration for comun areas. Hotel is well located and clean. The hotel has only one public computer to access to Internet.
It seems to be normal 4-star business hotel. Clean, comfortable, most of the receptionists spoke English. Good location -- close to big shopping mall. The surrounding area is a bit deserted after dark.
Pluses for the hotel include: Comfort and decoration o room, great customer service, location of hotel, views from room. The hotel could use some attention to detail, as a guest we noticed water infiltration problems with the shower heads, unfinished walls around windows in common areas, equipment needing maintenance in the gym and the pool water was extremely cold.
Staff were very helpful, I don't speak Portugese and they assisted me with phone calls and finding my way around
The Grand Bittar Hotel is a comfortable property that fits a traveler's basic needs away from home: cable TV, air conditioning, wifi (although at a daily fee of R$10) and free breakfast. I also received a room rate that was well below the usual rate. A friend and I wanted to eat at the sushi restaurant but apparently the chef was not in...the reasoning had to do with having to place a special order in advance of some sort. I was also not booked on the VIP floor as was advertised on the site (but didn't mind so much since I was given a huge discount, plus the VIP rate was the same price as the single room rate at the time).
Staff gentle manners. Although understaffed the personnel is helpful and gentle. There is a problem of maintenance. Some plugs do not work, the furniture is not well kept.
Execllent location, nice and friendly staff, very good breakfast. They couldn't find a plug adapter for my computer for 4 days. Not helpful when you are travelling for business. Terrible lemon smell detergent all over the hotel - really agressive!
The location was excellent for visiting the sites about town. The staff were not very service oriented. We had a hotel staff member open and attempt to enter our room without even knocking on the door before trying to open it.
Location to shops and tourist attractions No tea/coffee making provision in room
The hall way floors were very clean and shining. It was a very attractive approach to the rooms. The left elevator door in the lobby sticks shut. The right elevator never seems to come to the lobby.
Nothing Toelets very dirty, rooms very old in comparison to what you pay for. I payed for a 3 bed room deluxe, I got a very little room for two persons. Very poor breakfast aswell.
We were a bit dissapointing by this hotel as we expected better from a 4 stars hotel and none of the staff could speak English which was surprising for a business hotel. The breakfast was nice and the location too.
Clean, secure and very near to Patio Shopping Center and City Park. Easy to walk to city center (20-25 minutes), 5 minutes with taxi. Free car parking.
I have just slept one night. I was in a business trip. It has a confortable room but a poor breakfast.
Location is OK for a short stay For the price, the decor and furniture are very outdated - kind of 70s; although there was lots of space in the room, there was nowhere to put my suitcase, except on the floor
Hotel claimed to be 4 star. It does not have facilities of even a 3 star.STUFFY Rooms and unpleasant ambience.cleanliness is however there. Entire comment is included in the previous para.
It is near the airport and the shopping mall. It is also very close to the city park with the water fountain show. It is also very close to an excellent restaurant. The air conditioner in room 313 does not work very well. The room did not cool down even though the a/c ran all night. Also we had booked a luxury double and got a small room with 2 twin beds.
location is good it is expensive for a very ordinary hotel
Everything was awesome especially the helpful staff Everything was great, disliked nothing.
Great people!!!! I was only they one night and they made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Freaking expensive. I know it is the World Cup but come on, $70 for a shared room of 8?
Good service, comfort and good for business. NO
Location and facilities. Good swimining pool, quiet surrounding area, facing lake - near Palácio da Alvorada, residence of Brazil's president. Good breakfast. For some reason, I was not able to ask for drinks and foods at swimming pool and charge them to my room account - room number was blocked for that. This was fixed on 2nd day.
Location and breakfast buffet Looks a bit past its heyday
it had a bed almost all of it was a crock of shit, with construction and bullshit sales, nothing but an expensive waste of time
the locaton was veyr good for doing eveerything i wanted in Brasilia
Most of the staff do not speak English.
The room was spacious and confortable, the location was central, close to transport and Shopping Mall. The hotel is under staffed, We reserved a triple room, but when we arrived, around 3pm, there were no bed for my daughter. At 10 pm after many complains by phone, I went to the reception. There I found the only receptionist surrounded by unsatisfied guests. She look like a malabarist handlling the requests, complains and phone calls.
The room was confortable and provided with a desk, a sofa, a wardrobe, a microwave oven, a television, a few cupboards and shelves, besides the bed. The furniture was new. The breakfast wasn´t goog enough for the price and the degree of the hotel.
The beautiful design of the hotel and the nice pool area. There should have been a shuttle bus to the city center since taxis are very expensive in Brasilia!!
The first Hotel of Brasilia, desingned by Oscar Niemeyer was rebuild after a fire in 78 and more than 20 years without use in 2004. The reconstruction is totaly aligned with the original 60's-design and and the result is realy worth a stay. Staff was very nice and helpfull. Breakfirst was good. It seems that this is the best alternative for visitors intrested in Brasilias young history and architecture ! Very good value !
I enjoyed the architecture of the hotel, and the room was very comfortable and simply, but tastefully decorated. I liked the fact that every room had its own balcony. Also it was very quiet and it had a nice pool. The internet connection in the rooms could be a bit faster, and it would be nice to have wi-fi instead of a cable.
The staff tried to understand us, though when we were at check-in, there was no one who could speak English There was no English speaking staff at the counter at check-in, no facilities for organising tourist car, taxi or bus for sightseeing.
Pretty new hotel, clean, but rather "aseptic" feeling; too cold lightning. Nice staff, quite acceptable food and mini bar pricing. Breakfast quite ok even for the splendid Brazilian breakfast standard. Unfortunately I did not find a Gideon-Bible in my room.
