good value for money, friendly staff far away from city center
I like foundtain and garden. Hotel staff is ok. nothing
staff were friendly and helpful, no noise when in the room. Food was poor especially the breakfast, there was a coffee shop but they were using powdered coffee?!
That we have a cheap stay in Bangkok ! It was not very clean, when we came it smell's not very fresh and look's not very fresh and nice ! It is far from the centre of Bangkok !!
Very good value! Hall of the hotel is very nice, but rooms are basic. We had suite on 8th floor - it was very OK for the price. Shower not separated from WC.
they never at customer service and think about their benefits. this isn`t 4 star hotel , not at all.
Nice Executive rooms Can not open wide the balcony door in every Executive rooms
I like everything at there. Staffs are vey helpful, My friends and I stayed in executive rooms. It's the very big, comfortable and nice room. Important, the price is very valuable. For the ext time I went to Bangkok, I will stay here abslutely. Nothing
Valueable for budget Not specific
I've been staying here for 4 years. They have a great breakfast for 250 Thai Baht. Internet is not free, you have to pay for it. But for $ 20 USD the place is very clean, good security, nice pool area, lots of local cheap places to eat with in 2 blocks radius. Right off Rama 9 so lots of taxi's available and close to the toll way. Free Wifi would be nice.
good comfortable room Call charges are levied even if the call is not connected. Call is charged from the time the number is dialed.
Friendly helpfull staff. The location, there is no public transport close to the hotel.
Staff not very helpful in giving directions and just tell us to get a taxi to get to our destinations. Breakfast is cold and limited.
Staff and owners very polite and helpful. Breakfast okay. Hotel has a lift. Second visit but no handsoap supplied both times. No safe deposit boxes.
close to the place of event i planned to go to. Good value for money. Breakfast is nice. decent size room. 15 minutes to BTS Ekkamak station far from the city centre. if you get a room close to the main road, it can get abit noisy
It was close to where I wanted to be and was only 20 minutes from the airport. It was very clean and good value for money. There was a good free breakfast buffet. Getting downtown on public transport wasn't easy.
I couldn't speak highly enough of the staff at this hotel, they were so helpful and kind. The location isn't as close to the center as we had thought but the hotel its self was simple, very clean and comfortable. When the sky train near the hotel is complete it will be much easier and faster to get in to the center and see the sights. I must also add the food at this hotel is super.
It was comfortable and cheap and the location was good. I recommend it. They need to make the taxi drivers they call know where the person wants to go. Granted, this is a common problem in Bangkok, but the hotel could score points by keeping the customer happy in this small way.
Hotel was quiet, room was clean and decent, price was cheap. Breakfast is good, if somewhat limited (compared to most Thai hotels that usually offer a buffet breakfast). Wi-fi not working most of the time, staff is trying to be helpful but speaks very little english.
Price/Quality. Room was OK. The staff was really friendly and eager to please. This was the second time we stayed in Bangkok (the first time we stayed at the Navalai River Resort) and it was kind a nice to be out of the tourist area.(works both ways) because of the 'real' Bangkok experience and the absence of annoying tuktuk drivers and such around the more busy parts near the river.Considering the price, this hotel is a really good option in terms a value for money. Transportation; People booking here should take into account that it takes a half an our taxiride to the Grand Palace in low traffic hours (100-150baht on a meter taxi). Public transport: 8baht busride numbers 40 or 501 drive towards the BTS station Pra Kanong (ish) and it costs 35 baht for a BTS ticket to Siam Paragon Mall.
Budget hotel booked for proximity to the airport. Close to business, restaurants, massage salon, last minute items before leaving Bangkok. Helpful and congenial owners, as in all the Thai people.
Excelent staff. Around 15min away from city.
Location near airport. Good value for money. Ideal if you want to stay close to the locals. The shower section in the bathroom should be shielded from the WC.
The hotel was very nice and clean, the room was very spacious. There was a very good choice of breakfast. The hotel did not have a record of our reservation through Booking.com so there was a bit of confusion there.
The hotel was brand new so it was very clean and shiny. The location was good for a stopover hotel. I know we did not pay much for the hotel but the breakfast was not very good at all. Maybe it should not be included in the price and they should add more and fresher items to the breakfast. I'm sure people would not mind paying if it was a nice breakfast
The location is NOT as shown in the map online, but far outside the town. This will make you to find / pay taxis every day to reach the center of the city or any sights in Bangkok - annoyingly increasing the real price per day. The hotel is not very clean and the service is reduced to the very basics (so to say: nothing). Even reconstruction on all the rooms on your floor is not considered any disturbance and not worth any apology for the noise. Food available is soso (but a supermarket is across the street), but the promoted internet service is based on a very expensive 15-minutes time frame. This hotel is only recommended if you are looking for an absolute cheap overnight stay for your delay on Bangkok Airport (the only acceptable feature is the close location).
close to the airport unreasonably high price fro the drinks
Cheap and ok for one night.
good budget accomodation
Very good service and the staff is very helpful, kind and professional, we liked them very much! Good breakfast and clean pool!
Asbh is perfect for budget or business travelers. Its not expensive, but it covers all your needs. No big frills, but you get the cable tv, the refrigerator and safe, bed and bathroom are clean. Its by no means a luxury hotel, but if you arent the kind of traveler that needs to be pampered and would rather save his money to see the sights, travel the city, or enjoy the nightlife, its ideal. Its close to the airport, not the city center, so if you go you should learn the tricks to getting into town cheap and easy. The meter cabs arent too expensive, but traffic can be bad. The best way, in my opinion, were the river taxi's, theres a dock not five minutes walk from the hotel and it can get you into town for the cost of a quarter. They need to seal the doors of the shower, it lets water out onto the floors.
The staff was very friendly and helpful in every way and they spoke good English. Our only problem was that the hotel was located a bit "off", even the taxi drivers had problem finding it. No
The price and comfort..THese prices will not last I asked to borrow a vase for flowers and they had a fit...I Was asked to take the vase back to the lobby...Oh well.
The hotel was in a convenient location.. only stayed one night and left early next day so didn't get to experience the location.. the facilities..only the staff was very helpful.. the time spent there was too short.
the distance to the city centre... too far away
very close to the airport that's why I have chosen this hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful, very good shopping center (Bang Kapi) near bye. I did not stayed overnight so Yi can tell nothing about the breakfast. to short stay to give a comment, I like everything
Nice lobby. Incessant banging emanating from plumbing system-all night! Thin walls and doors-great for eavesdropping on neighbors! Cigarette smoke pervades the bathroom at night. Staff lacked the typical Thai froendliness.
