777 Convention Way, Anaheim, CA
1.1 km from
Nice hotel, clean, good staff. Big room, comfortable bed Lots of extras (have to pay for internet, to go to gym). Lobby is dark and brooding.
I liked being able to walk to the convention center. I didn't like the size of the rooms for the price. I have paid less in Vegas and Palm Springs to have a double bedroom. Plus I was unaware that not only was I paying extra for taxes, but that I was paying a nightly fee to Valet until I arrived at the Hilton. So an additional 60.00 a day was added to my bill which was not a wonderful surprise for a family attending a cheer competition. This will make us look else where next year.
The staff here was over-the-top accommodating! Pristine hotel with everything we could ask for! Probably the single best hotel experience I've ever had with my family. We've stayed in Fairmont, Grand Hyatt, and St Regis all over the world, and the Marriott Anaheim Convention Center outright crushed it! The restaurant nFuse was amazing, and the service was stellar. Happy, empowered employees make a huge impact! Cindy's made-to-order eggs benedict, Eduardo hooking us up with an executive double so we could fit a roll-away, Gretchen's 36-years of service and local knowledge, and then Yumi... Yumi rescued us twice! Once when my son had an allergic reaction to pineapple and she rushed to get us Benadryl (and some extreme kid-friendly love) and once when my daughter's shoe broke and she helped us get her some new flip-flops -- and Yumi is a server in the restaurant!!! Not even our server -- either day!!! Wow! Just, wow! Nothing. I can't say a single negative thing about this hotel. They crushed it, all-around.
The beds were comfortable The microwave & coffee pot in room didn't work, the bathroom door didn't close. The ac vents were falling off the wall, my boyfriend had to screw them back in
From the staff to the amenities this hotel was top notch.
The hotel is located a few blocks from Disney land. That is good for families going to Disney parks but not really good for any other type of traveler. I had to ask 3 times before the maintenance fixed the slow draining bath tub.
Rooms were clean, breakfast was great, location is outstanding, and staff was very friendly. We have stayed here many times and I highly recommend Stovall's. Not a thing.
Didn't like that we have to pay $10 a night for parking and the noise level was terrible
Magic hour and distance from park entrances I thought the rooms would be high tech and more luxurious for the cost. It was a cleaner motel. Not as nice I as I expected
Close to theme park with early entrance Very noisy, staff unappreciative of guests, staff non responsive to complaints, room service quality is mediocre.
The Red Lion had all the facilities we needed and then some. Our only complaint was with room cleanup and the lack of supply restocking, such as coffee, sugar, etc. and the general straightening of the room. They didn't remake my bed. See above.
Location is excellent Wi if on worked for few hours out of my 3 day stay. It was reported on several occasions to no avail.
Location was spot on for Disneyland. I like it even better than the hotels on Harbor for this. Staff was friendly and room and facility were clean. They had a party in the restaurant but we were really pleased it wrapped up before 10 Room was really stale smelling and everything we have smells like that. Bed was really saggy and uncomfortable. broken stuff in the bathroom, Generally needs an update. We were also looking forward to a jacuzzi soak after our run but there wasn't one.
Nothing I paid a lot of money for an extremely small room and wasn't very clean
Great location for the theme park, clean rooms, friendly of staff. There was a little market and coffee bar on site that was convenient.
Location It was dirty, full of bugs and needs some serious renovating.
Clean and completely updated.
Close-ish to Disneyland Breakfast Held bags before room was ready and after checkout Shower did not get hot, tub kept plugging Thin walls Loud parking garage next door Sketchy area late when Disney closes, around a dark corner, bus stops, alleys Not as green as claimed. Continually changed out towels even when left hanging.
Wasn't sure what to expect, but was extremely happy with how the stay went. Comfortable beds, plenty of storage space and just the right distance to not only the park, but also several restaurants. Room was a bit dated, limited television station options and you have to expect kids running up and down the hall. When you return to the room, it felt a little muggy, but when you run the air conditioner while gone, it seems to neutralize it.
Location was close to Disneyland
This is my second time staying at the Portifino Inn and Suites and both times I have had a wonderful experience. The staff are some of the friendliest in town and they were incredibly accommodating even though my husband and I landed in L.A. at 9:00 and were there to check in very early in the morning. I will definitely stay there again!
The rooms were laid out nicely with the king bed in one room and the bunk beds and couch in the other. The beds were horribly uncomfortable and ancient. The walls are thin and we listened to our upstairs neighbors walk around until the wee hours. On top of that, our credit card was charged by the hotel after we paid in full through Kayak. When we spoke to the manager to adjust it, he told us multiple times 'we weren't supposed to see that bill' (since it was significantly lower than what we paid!) On top of that, he asked us to pay a resort fee, which was clearly laid out in the bill that he sent to Kayak. Very frustrating end to our stay, and we will not be going back.
We had a fantastic stay here while my husband and I did a Disney trip. Walking location is 10 mins from the front gates which is awesome. My #1 concern is always cleanliness and this place was sparkling and looked as though it had just been updated. The free breakfast and free parking are a huge plus as most hotels don't include both. Overall it was awesome. The only downside which isn't the hotels fault at all, is outside there is a bus stop where a homeless community has taken over. You can pretty much walk behind them and not have to walk in front of them, but it did make me a little uneasy. The first night we walked to CVS and right as we passed, two homeless men got into a fight both physically and verbally. This was the only downside but depending where you walk it can be avoided.
I liked that it was close enough to walk to the parks. The staff was very friendly. Hotel was clean The bed was hard very hard! Hard to sleep on . I could hear kids all night running above my room, very loud, the old time air conditioner on the floor was so loud when it came on It would wake us all up! Only one area to get ready in the morning which is in the bathroom , daunting with girls. When we first arrived there were picketers out front, and were there every morning. I asked hotel staff about it and they seemed ok with it. if these things were updated the hotel would be great!
