Pros: Good pub location, great staff who were friendly and helpful. Had a great nights sleep!!
Cons: Our room was a little cold, which is a shame as all else was great
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Rooms have been decorated with today's requirements in mind. Lots of electrical sockets with USB sockets too. Beds are comfortable and rooms are well heated, incl bathroom. Ample free parking with disabled parking close to the building. The restaurant is very good, although a little expensive, as there doesn't seem to be many alternatives nearby. The pub area looked very inviting although we didn't spend any time in it. Nice open fire for the winter. Lots of outdoor space for the summer too. Buffet continental breakfast was very good but extra if you want something cooked.
Cons: Bathroom very cramped for 2 people. The shower has a rain shower as well as the normal shower head on a vertical rail, but this slid down the rail whenever it was slid up for my height. It's supposed to be held in place by spring fitting but was not doing so any more. Small point but needs attention.

Pros: warmth of hotel pleasant staff nice food would deffinitly return
Cons: bar not running out of tonic water

Pros: Lovely staff, clean, nice bar.

Pros: Really nice food in the restaurant, really friendly staff offering a very good service. Nice room with character, very comfortable
Cons: Some of the blinds in the room had bits broken off, tricky to close them. Rooms next to the main road get traffic noise which obviously eases overnight. I was up very early so it didn't disturb me too much but can imagine might pose some an issue
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Faultless place really. Good food, good staff, good facilities and location was spot on too. Close to the NEC and airport if required. Situated in the country and although on a fairly busy road was really quite quiet.
Cons: Nothing really.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect if your thinking of going to NEC as it’s about 20 mins drive. Breakfast was brilliant.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful decor in room and restaurant...very clean..comfy beds. Food was absolutely superb...every dish was delicious and cooked perfectly. Manager in restaurant was a fantastic host but somewhat let down by inexperienced (untrained?) staff around him.
Cons: My bed was by the window and the blind does NOT block the light out so I was awake at the crack of dawn. Also lacked shelves or anywhere to put toiletries in bathroom..a small shelf by sink for toothbrushes and a towel rack would sort it (towels were piled up on the small windowsill). The (wonderfully large and powerful) shower also flooded the bathroom as there's a big gap at bottom of door...didn't bother me but could be a slip hazard. None of these things (apart from being woken early) spoiled my stay and the rooms are otherwise fantastic, cosy, clean, comfy. Just minor niggles that could make quite a difference. In the restaurant the service was inconsistent. We asked for a portion of olives to have before our starters and our waiter was quite troubled by this and he said 'we've got a table of 25 in so I can't promise' this seemed to be too difficult and the pot of olives (no doubt pre-portioned and just needed grabbing and bringing out) arrived after our starters! We also had to ask for missing drinks two or three times and they were still slow coming..then a side dish never came and had to be chased. After dinner drinks were slow to serve as the young waitress didn't know what measures to use. BUT the manager was trying really hard to make up for the less experienced staffs' shortcomings and couldn't do enough. He was great. He just needs a few more experienced people on his team and it would be a superb experience that matches the superb food and surroundings.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable, very clean, and very friendly, helpful staff. The food was really good, especially the breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great room, good food, excellent.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The place itself is lovely, very warm and welcoming and our room was absolutely fantastic (9) we loved every minute of our stay. The staff went above and beyond especially Giuseppe - thank you for making our weekend extra special! The quality of the drinks (especially the espresso martinis) and the food were second to none - the pizza was fantastic, as were all our starters and desserts! We will definitely return and recommend to our family and friends.
Cons: N/A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Polite staff Beautiful room Amazing food
Cons: Nothing.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Not much, the whole experience was not worthy of anything nice to say.
Cons: The breakfast was slow and difficult to get the food and drinks on time, as the waitress kept forgetting everything. The check out was painfully slow, then the bills were wrong, then the payment was taken wrong, so had to pay in 2 parts, then they would not provide a written invoice, but would email one. The invoice was never emailed, so when i rang up to request it to be sent through again, at which point they were rude citing GDPR and that they can only send one to the booking.com address, which has not been sent through. Lies and poor service. Such a shame.

Pros: The location next to the M40, room very clean and well maintained, fabulous bathroom and excellent breakfast in the morning.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Easy to find and rooms OK, up to date and clean and tidy.
Cons: Bit of a trek into town, our room was next to the boiler room and there was a constant drone all night. Breakfast whilst included was based around very cheap produce but my biggest complaint was the prices charged at the bar with a cheap bottle of red costing over £25 and snacks more than twice the price charged outside. OK break but wouldn't stay here again.

6.0 Good
Pros: Breakfast good quality and plentiful. Bed comfortable with good pillow selection. Noise levels were fine, even on Saturday the event finished by midnight.
Cons: Bathroom absurdly cramped. Shower water pressure not great. Very nice desk but no chair, only an uncomfortable piano-style stool.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: A lovely welcome by the staff, and a lovely surprise waiting for us in our room with their compliments of a bottle of fizz, card and chocolates, all just lovely to help us celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. Great location to walk around the lovely historic town.
Cons: Our room was comfortable, but I was surprised that it was a small room, without a view, yet at the time of booking I had paid a bit extra and selected 'a superior room', so that was a little disappointing given that I had messaged the hotel to request a 'special room' given our personal circumstances, though only a small complaint given they were very generous with the complimentary fizz and chocolates.

Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent

7.0 Good

Cons: Was too warm.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The positive and helpful attitude of the staff and the quality of the food.
Cons: Water pressure on the top floor.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Small room, unable to access shower because it was so small and narrow very tight angle to toilet. Not sure how it all passed building regs. They are obviously more concerned with profit than comfort of their guests. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. Would not stay here again, we have traveled all over the world and have not stayed in such a small room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were warm and cosy. The staff were incredibly friendly and assisted with any requests.

5.8 Okay
Pros: Polite staff, clean lobby etc , lots of parking spaces and free parking which was great . rooms outdated however , not hoovered that thoroughly as there was clothing fluff and plastic from clothing tags on floor, bed was relatively comfortable but pillows were uncomfortable and sank when you laid on them. Corridor wasn’t noisy rooms were quiet and had necessary facilities etc , overall OK stay

Cons: Heating in bathroom was not working but the addition of radiator solved the issue.

Pros: Great breakfast. Very good value for money. Rooms were dark and quiet at night which made it easy to sleep.
Cons: Drinks at the bar were very expensive.
7.4 Good
Pros: Staff were courteous and professional. Room was good, facilities were good.
Cons: Prices were ridiculous. £24 per day to park your car on the hotel car park. £12.60 for a Jack Daniels and Coke. Breakfast choices were very limited - what was available was good quality but I would expect a better selection for the standard and price.
