The staff was excellent Long check-ins, tiny pool, a lot of street noise
Great hotel! Comfortable beds! Nothing
The Lobby area with small bar, pool table, and cafe was quaint. All emloyees we encountered were very professional and polite. Waited at least 10 minutes to check in. Not enough employees. Employees MULTITASKING, covering cafe, helping customers with ice etc... not giving ALL attention to front desk. Three people lined up to check in and ONLY ONE person to help customer. VERY STERILE, COLD, environment in room. SMALL!! (two queen beds) air conditioner on floor, table over it ALL blowing on bed nearest to it. NO OTHER air vent that we could see. HOT as you know what trying to put on make up and blow dry hair in area BEHIND beds and air conditioning/ with seperate wall. Thank goodness I travel with floor fan for noise, to use when it got to hot....or would have to go around corner where ALL the air conditioning was to cool off, while my daughter who had the bed with air blowing on her was FREEZING. Oh yea, shampoo and conditioner in one on wall along with body wash that came out in little spits at a time, AND.... one-ply toilet paper. TOO GREEN for us. We look for warmth and comfort when traveling away from home, especially after hard days work. I have to say employees were VERY courteous and warm. They did the best with what they had do work with. We personally did not like the ART DECO decor. To each his own.
Excellent room. Great layout of the room. I liked that room had safe. Huge shower Shower drain ran slow.
Comfortable and convenient
The staff was extremely friendly. Checking in and out was super fast, too. The rooms were metro style but totally adequate for a weekend stay. I don't care for some of the decor - it looked a bit cheap, especially the concrete floors and the rate definitely was the upper end. I know it is trendy but I don't find it to be consistent with the "boutique" hotel style.
Amazing shower and the room felt large, well desingned. Very eye pleasing to be in.
Very pet friendly! Staff was welcoming and helpful! Very clean and well kept! Great amenities! Wish I was staying longer!!
Pool and price. Not the most comfortable.
Very Friendly Staff, Clean smelling. Stylish. Noise from street. However I was able to remedy that by turning on fan to drown out sounds. I had read the reviews going in and already knew this.
with a limited amount of hotels available in Tallahassee, that are not cockroach infested, Aloft is a good choice mirror was broken in the bathroom, one towel, staff was not very friendly
Room was damp with water dripping from ceiling due to condensation from air conditioning system. Carpeting, bed linens, all hard surfaces were damp/wet. Everything was clean, but wet with resultant odor to it when we arrived.
When we arrive and saw our room we were amazed. \nThe room was so clean and the bed was fantastic. We slept like babies. We had such good people to work with at the desk. The breakfast was great and so convient. The pool was small but well kept and clean. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. The grounds were so clean and well kept. We were there to watch my son play softball but it was nice to go to such a nice room when we were finished. There were lots of good places to eat and there was a Target just down the street. Our room was much nicer than the boys had down the street and from the outside you would had never thought that. We loved our room and our stay in Tallahassee. Great place to stay says 2 blonds from Missouri.
* Mold growing on walls. * Dirty bathroom. * Roaches in the refrigerator. * Safe did not work. * Exterior hotel security doors were either disabled or did not work. Security doors left open. The terrible part is that all of the above were reported to the Front Desk. They never offered to rectify a problem or change our room. We will never stay here again!
This hotel was clean, smoke free, pet free, almost kid free. It was very quiet except for the traffic noise as it is on a highway. We chose to stay on the 3rd floor so the traffic noise was not so loud. I loved the stay. Large flat screen tv and Just very clean. Nice continental breakfast buffet also.
Hotel is clean and appears well cared for. Average. Beds were hard as rocks and no one slept well. Glad it was only one night. Now about the free breakfast, a big draw for me. Eggs were unrecognisable. Sauage was overcooked, potatoes undercooked. Grits, sausage gravy ran like water. Two cold cereals, breads, canned fruit. Would have liked to see some dairy available [yogurt, cartons of milk]. They should stick to a continental breakfast with breads, danish and fresh fruit. Did I mention the coffee? Don't even go there.
On this visit I had to go to the desk because there was no phone. I had to go back because there were no towels. There was no iron. The bathroom was not clean. I had to clean it again. The refrigerator in room was not clean. I gave up and did not go back to the desk.
It was ok, wasn't my best experience. Didn't really like the rooms but it was good for the weekend since I didn't spend most of my time there.
nice clean rooms, good breakfast, maybe a bit pricy ,
Bathroom was filthy. Hair all over ,on the floor. The sink was clogged, water ran slowly. Toilet had stool particles in it. Lots of rust and dirt. If this is 3-star I wouldnt want to see 1-star. Wouldnt go back. Staff is unkempt. Rm 332
Great room. Excellant facility
The room & bathroom were very clean. Nice big fluffy towels.Great breakfast (eggs, sausage, cereal, waffles) downstairs in the small dining area! Flat screen TV! Great staff- very efficient and helpful.Felt very safe & secure-exterior doors required room card to open them. Inside corridors.
It provided literally a roof for the night, the room appeared clean until we started walking around the room. First off, we checked in at about 7pm and when my husband asked for directions to the room he was told "the rooms have numbers" there were two buildings that are part of the hotel. The "non smoking" room reeked of smoke, we turned on the ac to see if it helped (it did not). The bathroom was disgusting there were stains on the back of the door as if someone threw liquid onto the door, there was hair all over the floor and there was stains on the bed sheets.
Pimp tried to hook me up w/a "girl who's new in town" wasn't trying to talk with anyone. Loud party going on and drunks hanging out. Location and price
Excellent location and very friendly staff. Great value for the money.
The staff was friendly and the hotel in great shape; seriously one of the nicest places I've stayed for the price This particular night, there were some loud guests in the surrounding rooms, but I was able to power through (I was too tired to care). Around 1:30 a.m., though, there was loud knocking on the door, and then one of the attendants barged in on my room. He quickly apologized and said he was just doing a building check or whatever, but at 1:30 a.m.? Hella weird. The next day I asked if there was something that happened, and the clerk explained there were some folks causing a lot of noise. I'm assuming the strange intrusion in my room was related, but it was all bizarre. Otherwise, it was a nice place.
ROOM WAS CLEAN AND STAFF WAS NICE GETTING OUT OF THE CAR WITH TWO CHILDREN OF WHICH ARE GIRLS TO DRUNK MEN WITH BEER BOTTLES PILED UP ON THE DOOR STOP, A MAN SMOKING WEED ON THE 2ND FLOOR, THE NAKED WOMAN PULLING HER CLOTHES OFF IN THE PARKING LOT SCREAMING PROFANITITY BRCAUSE SHES GEEKED OUT OF HER MIND.....THAT ABOUT SUMS UP THE NEGATIVE HIGHLIGHTS OF THIS HOTEL
Nothing amazing but was clean and up to date
The Saltwater pool was fantastic Air conditioning wasn't working well and I finally had to ask for a fan to be able to sleep. They offered another room but it was late and I didn't feel like moving at that point. Also, the refrigerator door wouldn't stay closed so it never got cold, making it useless. Manager said he was aware of it already which made me wonder why they put us in a room they knew had problems. This hotel was no more than 30 percent occupied, plenty of empty rooms and we get a room that the manager KNEW wasn't fit to occupy. He was unfriendly. He was CONSTANTLY watching every time I came out of my room and made me feel unwelcome from the minute I arrived. I will NEVER stay at that location again even if was FREE! Facility is run down with broken windows broken fixtures peeling paint. My room didn't have a smoke detector just wires hanging out of the ceiling. It was a non smoking room. I think in most places a smoke detector is required by law. Room 281
Three out of four of the front desk staff were very pleasant. Good cold AC. Smell of urine in the bathroom. Towel rack coming off the wall. Sparse mediocre breakfast. TV remote wouldn't turn the TV on. Uncomfortable pillows. Traffic noise. Night clerk at check in seemed to be bothered by our arrival.
Housekeeping needs to be better in the cleaning carpet are stain outside says newly renovated room that is a lie.
Easy access to downtown Lots of restaurant choices and shopping nearby Room smelled nice & fresh Bed was super comfortable Loved having a choice of soft and firm pillows Sofa was nice for reading Breakfast was tasty with lots of choices Best coffee of any hotel chain Door to bathroom too big, crowded the toilet, opened onto full mirrors on closet door opposite the bathroom
Great breakfast selection. Convenient location. Has option of 2 bedrooms and a kitchen with a small living room. The room I had this time (I have stayed previously) was apparently trashed by the previous customer. The bathroom doorknob was broken and mended, bath towel bar broken, rug was stained all over, doors were stained (specially the 2nd bedroom one), ottoman was shredded.
The room was huge & fully equipped with a full size kitchen, although we were only there one night. Breakfast selection was good with average quality.
Friendly staff. Loved the social hour with food. So special!!! Would have liked the pool to be heated.
The staff was friendly. I stayed two separate occasions. The first stay was Sept. 14,15. The room A/C was not working. The new room did not have electrical power in the plug next to the bed so the lamp did not work and I could ?not connect my cpap machine.
The free buffet was one of the best I've had at a Homewood Suites. Not only did they have the standard 'make your own' waffles but they had strawberries&whipped cream to put on them. Plus the chef had make a delicious egg dish with chicken. Yummy. Not a big complaint but the rooms were not connected to the lobby area.
The view is great from the hotel room and the breakfast is tasty with fantastic service from Jacky! N/A
It was clean... The toilet ran, it sounded like someone was above me even though I was on the top floor (roof probably needs work), and there was a noise in the wall when running the hot water in the sink. Also, could be confusing getting to your room, elevator & exits.
Friendly staff, amazing breakfast, and a ridiculously comfy bed after a 14 hour drive.

We loved the big room with the separated sleeping area. We did not check-in in time for the dinner but breakfast was great. The beds were comfortable and we will would definitely stay there again.
Good continental breakfast, and conveniently located. Staff was extremely friendly and very kind to my kids offering free cookies and small toys. Air conditioner didn't seem to work properly--would click on and off repeatedly before running for a while; carpet in closet was wet and mold growing in corner of closet. When notified staff, thanked us for telling but didn't offer any comps.
I watched staff give the finger to one of their guests as the guest was leaving. Elevators were both broken and bathroom was not clean... smelled like urine and tub was dirty. Called front desk twice to clean. Gross

This was a pet friendly hotel and it did live up to the claim. My dog was allow everywhere and there were biscuits for him at the desk.
How clean it was Parking spaces were not available. I did not like the breakfast bar.
Breakfast is always a bonus. Staff at breakfast were friendly and the convenience of AppleBees next door was a plus. I stayed 3 nights. Room did not get made up once. No idea why? Bathroom was a little aged.
Rooms were dirty. Rugs with spots. Bathroom not clean. Hair still everywhere. Drawers falling apart.
Staff was friendly Bathroom was filthy, specially the shower area. Terrible really.
The hotel was a good value and near Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare. Check in was a bit ackward as the front clerk appeared new and was unable to print out a check-in guest form. The hotel offers a breakfast but the starting charge is $4.99 per person.
The staff was friendly Room was old and out of date. No hot water the second morning. Woke up to false fire alarm. Breakfast buffet should be included in price of room. Not worth the money paid :(
Nothing Outrageous price for an old revamped establishment. No vanity room for make up etc. as well as shaving utensils. One old sink from the previous 40 years. The ice machine was quire some distance away and towels were on the cheap side. We booked this hotel simply because of the reputation of the " Wyndham Garden Hotel " reputation. This place was not even worth $ 50 a night and we did have to spend quite some more Dollars
Our room was right beside the elevator. There was an extra charge for a breakfast that was not as good as some free breakfasts we have had in other places.
The bed was semi-comfy. Front desk staff were too busy getting high in the parking lot to check us in. Had to wait almost 30 minutes to see anyone from hotel staff to check us in, it was ridiculous. Front desk staff skipped over us, even though we were first in line and just wanted to be checked into our room, staff decided to help the 2 other parties behind us because they were "quick" and already "checked-in". It was like something from a comedy skit. Check-in staff didn't seem to know what he was doing. And, the couple behind us said their room was ridiculously dirty, and had bugs. Never again at the Tally Wyndham... NEVER AGAIN!
I booked 1 room for my cousin and I Xmas eve and got a very good deal. We arrived late due to flight delays and the staff extended our checkout time for the next day with no questions asked. When we arrived, the young man working guest services, Kenan, was so helpful. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. We are not too familiar with Tallahassee and he gave us some great suggestions for this and future visits. Only complaint would be that the shower curtains need to actually extend with the length of the shower. It's a wheelchair accessible batheroom which is great with a shower containing a convenient seating area for those who need it. Problem is, the shower curtain does not cover that area and the shower head can either be held or placed in a spot where it shoots straight out. Things (bathroom floor) will inevitably get wet.
Very comfortable bed. There were hand towels but no bath towels provided. When I called the front desk to request some I was told they were understaffed and I needed to go up front to pick them up. Our tissue box was completely empty upon arrival so I left it out for housekeeping to replace... they did not. Other than these issues, the staff was friendly and our stay was fine.
The staff was very helpful from the check in to the cleaning staff. Room are clean and comfortable. Great value for the price... N/A
Everything did appear to be clean. We were only there one night and returned after having dinner out and left early in the morning but while we were there all appeared to be quiet. There was a slight bad smell to the room, however, we weren't there long and I hoped turning the air higher to be cooler when we returned the smell would be better, it was. However, I had to keep the room cold in order to not have the bad smell.
I felt safe and looked clean. It was a good value for the price. The person at the desk told me she would switch my room to non smoking and implies she had been successful but I assume was not because the smoke smell was evident. Plenty of parking. Convenient to FSU I was booked in a smoking room because there was no nonsmoking rooms available. Even the lobby had a smoke scent
The room was spacious and clean for the cost. I did not have any problems doing my stay and would recommend the hotel to others. No microwave in the room.
Bugs in comforter. Stains on comforter. Pubic hair all over bathroom. Totally gross!!!
I didn't stay Found a cockroach inside the freege
Very courteous staff, only spent the night as I was using it as a pit stop, right off the highway which was great and It has a Waffle House next to it, great! Had breakfast and kept on with my trip.
Location and price Noisy at 11pm at night. Could hear upstairs. People running around and knocking on doors.
The wifi signal was very weak.
Cheap, late checkout. Slow service. 2 of 3 pillows were not clean. A lot of marks/scuffs on the walls. Breakfest offered, not so good. Pool area not very inviting.
Worse place we have ever stayed in. Stained carpet. Hair clippings in sink. Dirt everywhere.
The hotel doesn't look like much from the outside, but the room was surprisingly nice and quite clean. I had no issues whatsoever, especially at the price I paid. The location off the highway and near a number of restaurants and coffee shops is quite good.
Nice clean room Door wouldn't close properly
Internet connection was horrible
It was fine. Carpet in the room was old and stained. I think all rooms ahould remove carpet.
My biggest concern when traveling is cleanliness then price. I love getting a good deal. This was awesome!!
Low price Whole place smelled like cigarettes even non smoke rooms and corridors. Vending machine didn't work. They have to buzz you in front door. Pictures on Web not accurate.
The hotel hall way smell to cigarette. My room was a non smoking but you can smell the hallway and my clothe came back with a strong cigarette smoke smell.
I liked the hotel, just needs some accommodation I wish they could just get rid of the carpets, the room is nice and clean but the carpet give out a smell that takes away from the appearance of the room.
Room was a little dirty
Nicely sized rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, friendly and efficient staff. Poor Wifi signal in rooms.
Good meeting room setup with current technology. Starbucks inside the hotel. Clean and comfortable rooms.
The facilities were dated. I expected something more from a Marriott Courtyard.
Clean and good service. Visiting FSU and was good location. Breakfast was included and good.
The desk staff was courteous and knew the area well. They helped us locate a coffee shop and a mechanic. Breakfast was included and had waffles. It was the best choice for a break along our Key West roadtrip. The bed was a bit firm.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Nothing really
The hotel was up to my reasonably high standards in cleanliness, comfort & customer service. Security was of some concern. My door lock didn't seem very score but the security bolt was good.
Friendly staff. They don't date the wine bottles when opened so they served old bitter white wine.
fast check-in/check-out; ample amounts of parking; hotel staff was extremely helpful and personable; rooms were very spacious with extremely comfortable beds and floor-length blackout curtains over the windows; altogether a great experience The roomkey scanner at the south entrance to the building was very unreliable and required multiple (5-10) attempts to unlock the door. This was very inconvenient as many times trips into the building were with full arms of luggage and/or other items.
Great location Room was humid. The sheets and bed felt damp and the carpet did not feel clean.
We were in town for the weekend for a wedding. I thought the hotel was very nice. Clean. Modern. The staff was friendly. Overall I enjoyed the hotel and would recommend to a friend. Level 8 bar was very nice too. The balcony was spacious and had a nice view to sit, relax, and enjoy a drink.
Location is perfect, staff friendly and efficient, rooms are very nice and having a Shula's 347 at the hotel a real plus. Was very disappointed with thev $15 a night parking. So my stay was not the $149 advertised. Bait and switch?
Clean sheets This is a hotel that gets a lot of traffic. Its clean but the room smelled like spray deorant and the floors had carpet which was not great flooring for the cost of the hotel. Also forced valet parking. Other hotels priced less offer comparble amenties for less.
Ate at Shula's restaurant, which was very good. Just high priced. Location is very convenient. Staff at hotel and restaurant very friendly and helpful. You could hear everything that went on in the hall. Rooms are noisy. The smoke alarm in the room across went off and they couldn't turn it off for awhile. Didn't know there was $15 charge for parking.
Complimentary water and beverages in the lobby. Overall, clean and in a good location. The room was a bit dated, and the bathroom could have been cleaner. Dirt was visible. Tissue rolls placed inconveniently.
location Pillows are terrible
The beds were comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and staff was very professional, friendly and accommodating
The staff were friendly. i thought I had booked the same hotel I had been going to for 3 years. When I found out that it was the wrong one, they wouldn't let me switch. The beds were so hard we had to go to Walmart and spend 40 dollars on foam bedding so we could sleep at night.
Nice clean comfortable room, with good breakfast buffet for $8.99. A little far from FAMU & FSU.
The hotel was nice but when I called ahead to ask if our room was ready they said our reservation was cancelled..I had prepaid and I had not cancelled. It took awhile for them to get it straight with Priceline. It caused me a lot of anxiety! That they tried to cancel my prepaid reservations.
The room was clean and comfortable although a bit small.
location looked a little more tired than I expected for a Hilton. Did not eat breakfast at hotel as did not realize breakfast was not included.
The hotel staff was amazing from housekeeping, to the front desk and all who ran the breakfast buffet over the weekend All staff members went above and beyond their duty to make our stay that much nicer. Beds were confortable and the room was ice cold. I have Nothing bad to say about my 3 day,2 night stay at this hotel .
We couldn't check in until 6pm because the football team was there. We did not know until we arrived in town at noon. The general manager Sophia was very helpful as well as Trey on the night shift.
Breakfast was nice . Location was perfect . Comfortable and clean . Not all staff were professional .
No serious complaints. The bed seemed a little hard to me overall the room with comfortable. Cleaning staff were a bit loud we could hear them laughing and talking in the halls while we were still asleep. The front desk staff were very friendly
